At that point, I thought I confirmed the appointment twice. However, today when I arrived, the receptionist told me my appointment was cancelled my appointment without warning, quoting that I didn't respond to her by 3:42PM and as so she went ahead and cancelled it. No where in the prior messages did it say the appointment was at risk to be cancelled if I did not reply to the text message. Nor was this the case at the beginning of the year or during the last cleaning. I drove 20 minutes each way and took PTO attend. What's worse is when I tried to highlight the above point as constructive feedback, the representative did not want to read her messages and admit to the failure in communicating the risk of cancelling the appointment if I don't respond to the text message. I've had a least 100 doctor appointments over the last 5 years. I usually schedule them months if not a year in advance. Not a single doctor has ever canceled because I never responded to a text message. As I was trying to explain that there is no indication in her communications that there was a risk of cancellation until after she cancelled the appointment, the receptionist then continued to interrupt me continuously. I couldn't complete a full sentence without being interrupted. Not only the behavior of this individual was unprofessional and quite frankly, unacceptable, I'm more concerned about arbitrary policy that she referred to as started in 2026 where they will cancel appointments if you don't confirm. This shows that this was not an isolated incident, but rather a poorly communicated and executed policy that reflect poorly on the owners. When I asked to talk to the doctor/owner, I was told the doctor left for the day. This is concerning because had the appointment went ahead as planned, I would have to come back another day for the second half of the appointment. Outside of the obvious scheduling policy issue above, not having a doctor/dentist for an appointment defeats the purpose of the dental appointment altogether. At the end of the day, I'm not happy with the outcome here with this office. At the current moment, I don't know who I can't trust at this ultra smile brand. Is it the receptionist, the owner or the brand that I need to attribute this new found loss of trust. If you are a working professional, you may want to consider other professional options.

I received multiple unwanted calls to confirm the same appointment. I visited this office 7 times within a six month period, so I interacted with them extensively. Asking for a bill breakdown I was meet with resistance and attitude. Then to find out that my in insurance was charged for an evaluation I was not made aware of after I paid cash for my cleaning and was giving a receipt to that effect is very disturbing and disappointing. While I understand that crowns can occasionally become dislodged, I was very discouraged to learn that I would be charged $225 for recementing the crown. It is my understanding that when a permanent crown fails within such a short time frame, it is common practice for the original provider to recement it at no additional charge, provided the failure was not due to patient negligence such as chewing hard objects or grinding teeth. Many dentists offer warranties on crowns, sometimes extending coverage up-to five years to account for possible issues with fit, preparation, or material integrity and especially considering we pay exorbitant rates for the procedures. The office staff was kind and welcoming, and I would like to commend the hygienist who temporarily recemented the crown for her gentle and professional care. However, the crown fell off again within 24 hours whilst brushing and its stored on my night stand as i type this, which only highlights my concern about the durability of the original placement. I believe it is only fair that a crown placed less than two years ago should be recemented without an additional fee, unless clear evidence of patient negligence exists. Maybe the office can reconsider the policy or fee for future patients and provide a resolution that reflects a commitment to quality care and patient trust, as for me I believe it's time to find a new dentist in Miami who cares a little more than Ultra Smile Dentistry.

Starting with the booking of the appointment, it's not only quick and easy but I'm reminded via text message a couple of times before the visit to make sure I don't miss it. The place itself is modern, with cutting technology and as spotless as a dental office should be. It's a fun experience actually, or better say, they make it fun for me. I have got several procedures done at this place, that includes multiple cleanings (at least 4 so far) and Invisalign and I can't complain at all. One important aspect for me is the financials and they have been clearly layout for me, as well as the treatment options. As for the procedures, everything has been perfect. Dr. Santos has been my dentist since day 1 and she has been great. I have been going through the Invisalign journey since mid last year and Milly, my ortho technician, has made the experience much better than what it could be. I had Invisalign done 15 years ago at a different place and while it was also good, this experience has been unmatchable.
