New Patients note: Insurance - Keep in mind that YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY UP FRONT- the full cost based on your insurance coverage, they will file the claim with your insurance company to reimburse YOU. This was an unexpected $300 out of my pocket that morning. They say they tell you up front, they didn't, or I wouldn't have gone there. And - had they filed insurance on their own behalf, they would have known that it was outside the parameters for a new x-ray. Not cool, I ended up NOT being reimbursed $150 out of MY pocket, due to their lack of due diligence! If it was their money, they would have known; and they didn't even do a fully covered cleaning, just the x-rays $150 (not covered - too soon, 36 mos with Cigna) and an oral exam $150 (covered). Waste of time. They say parking is validated, but you have to call from the parking lot and have them tell the parking attendant. Or you might be able to get your money back on your way out, again - YOU PAY up front. My car got a huge hit - smashed in the bumper in their lot. UGH! Surprise times two. Damaged the headlight, that will have to be repaired. More money. The dental technicians are nice, just have to get past the parking lot and the front desk. And have extra money! read more

I've been a patient for 5 years and Ingrid is the best hands down. She KNOWS teeth! Everytime I leave my cleanings I'm not only squeaky clean, but I'm motivated to do better with my oral hygiene (although it's pretty damn good). A few years ago I purchased an electric toothbrush and she took the time to teach me how to use it by going over every tooth. She's just amazing. You'd be surprised at how much people don't know about their oral health and she is there to help you! The staff is super nice and always happy when you walk in. Just overall an amazing place and although I moved further, I will always sit in traffic for them. read more

Went for teeth cleaning. Dentist immediately focused on work that another dentist had done and criticized it. I said I would have that other dentist look at it and simply wanted a teeth cleaning. She said she wanted a "relationship" and refused to do the teeth cleaning although she had done so previously. read more

Terrible experience. They charged me for services that were covered under my insurance not to mentioned they admitted it was a clerical error on thier part. i went to this practice in june 2018 with a groupon for cleaning they did an excellent cleaning and the staff were very professional and friendly upon leaving the Dr said i had numerous cavities and gave me a written statement for the price of the fillings i needed $1018.00-see attached pic. 2 days ago, Feb 19, 2019 I went to Gateway Dental on NW 14 street next to U of M medical school and had x-rays and cleaning and said nothing about the June diagnosis from One Dental Centre. the dentist at Gateway said my teeth were perfect and said " see you in 6 months for your next cleaning " !! why did One Dental Center want to bill me over $1000 for unnecessary work and even worse, cause me pain and suffering to have multiple drillings and fillings that were not medically warranted? i would recommend One Dental Centre for death row inmates only, not the unsuspecting public, what a shame that the Miami medical community has sunk to such pitiful, abusive practices !!! buyer beware!!!! read more

I called to make an appointment worried about an infection on a root canal I had gotten done a few years ago at a different location. Olivia the assistant was extremely courteous and offered me an appointment right away given the nature of my call (which was a huge relief). I had read about Dr. Peguero, who with only three years of practice seemed a little new to the game, but given that he graduated from Harvard it reassured me I was in good hands. And let me tell you, no disappointments. The procedure was painless, the entire staff was outstanding, and the doctor even called me on that same day to know how I was feeling. WOW. I finally found a dentist I love! I avoided going for years because of terrible experiences in the past. They always make sure I am comfortable. I had to bring my 6 yr old daughter to my first appointment,and they were so accommadating, even giving her a mask and gloves so that she could "help out". She thought it was the best thing ever! After a lengthy visit, where I had an extra amount of work done, Dr Mayoral himself called me a couple days later just to make sure I was doing ok. The hygienists are generally okay - cleanings are okay but, not as thorough as other practices. The dentists always try to sell you on an unnecessary service or product, it feels like you're walking into a showroom rather than a professional practice. Overall the service is okay - you will not wait very long for your appointments and staff is friendly. I would rate higher, but my family has also had negative experiences here with errors nearly being committed during a procedure. read more

I went yesterday for a cleaning, the technician was very knowledgeable and sweet, she took the time to explain me everything, also the doctor, I felt that they were honest on what do I need and what we should try other options and monitor the possible issues. They recommended an electronic toothbrush (oral-B 8000) and I ended up buying it from them (which was cheaper than Amazon, I compared it right away). That toothbrush is absolutely amazing! Also Jenny at reception did my rebate for the toothbrush ($30) she even mailed it for me! How amazing :) I had a wonderful experience! read more

Great dental care. I had a bad experience elsewhere and was refered to one dental care . had an emergency and was able to be treated I within twenty four hours. I never have to wait and the Dr and staff are so kind and explain all procedures. I love the intimate space and the special care given . I had a major procedure today and I was given postoperative literature which to my surprise even included a diet for the week . This shows me how much they care . This place only cares about your money, went there to get a simple crown in January didn't get my crown until middle of July... mean while they had me come in 7 times just for that one crown, that wond up costing me 2000.00$ and that was just for the crown it didn't even include the root canal because I had already had it done with my previous dentist that unfortunately could not finish the job because I moved out of state.And to make matters worse if they fill like they want to take the day off they will cancel your appointment with no second thought or hesitation, they canceled two of my appointments after I had to plan them out very in advance do to my job, talking to other coworkers and acquaintance I found out they have gotten crowns for a fraction of the cost and in less time. Very disappointed with the lack of transparency and courtesy from this dental office in regards to insurance coverage. I've going there for a little over two years for basic cleanings and routine exams. My insurance always covered every single visit. Last time I visited them, I specifically asked if that visit and examinations were covered by my policy, and the answer was yes! A few months later I received a bill from them, of course I called to understand the reason for such and the secretary mentioned a mistake had been made, so I arrested assured it was going to be fixed. A few weeks later I received a second notice, which I ignored since I had already spoken with the secretary (my mistake for not calling and confirming). A couple of weeks passed by and my bill was sent to a collection agency. I called back and the same secretary mentioned I had ignored my bill; her tone of voice was so loud and judgmental. Since she couldn't help, I requested a call back from the billing department, who never called me. When I finally got a hold of the person in charge, she mentioned she couldn't help because she was a new employee. Long story short, since I was a regular and referred about three patients to them, I expected a little more clarity and customer service from this office. I had a freak accident a couple years ago and Dr. Rodriguez was kind enough to treat me in her office after hours. That is customer service at its best right there. After that first encounter, I began extensive treatment with her and Dr. Cuartas (and Suhey) to fix the damage which was not a fun process but they made it a very pleasant one and eased all my nerves along the way, taking the best care a patient could ask for before, during and post-procedures. I've been to five or six dentists since I moved to Miami, and each time they tried to sell me some brand of expensive nonsense ranging from whitening, to deep cleaning, to a magic toothbrush. This was the only office I've been to where I wasn't pushed into a money-making procedure I didn't need. I saw two different dentists there, and both with personable, gentle, prompt, and refreshingly trustworthy.
