If I could give it 0 stars I would. I had an appointment at 2:30 and I blocked an hour of my busy schedule to come here. I was told the consultation takes 30-45 minutes. I check in ON TIME and at 3pm no one had called me in yet. When I ask to speak to the lady that does the X-rays she says "oh you've been here since 2:30?" As if she had no idea she had an appointment. She was busy with someone else, so what is the point of appointments?? Horrible service. read more

They are all about money. After a misunderstanding on what Invisaligns were (our previous orthodontist called the night guards: Invisaligns) I offered and paid in full for a set of inviviligns my daughter would never wear. The price also included follow ups she would never go to. After paying full price (no arguments) for something that was useless to us, I asked if a night guard could be ordered for my child since it was what we had come for in the first place. I was told yes. You would think that after spending an enormous amount on useless products, at least a gesture of good faith would have been made towards the product we came for in the first place? The answer is NO. I paid in full for it (again, zero arguments from our part). I understood a miscommunication had happened. But, the attitude we were given when we picked up the night guard was unbelievable. The doctor and his assistant who were so nice and so fast to sell us a full set of Invisaligns, could not even look at us or acknowledge our presence when we came back for the night guard. As if me paying in full for a service I didn't need/want, was in the wrong somehow..? Even the technician who help fit the night guard apologized and said she did not understand why we were being treated that way. I guess free money wasn't enough to make them act decently towards clients who were nothing but agreeable. Go figure. read more

I started with this place about 2 years ago and due to my late payments during COVID because my business was closed they choose to not see me because of non payment. For my 8-year-old son, going to the orthodontist was a challenge until we met Norma, and she became the safe ground for him. After 4 years of treatment, my son actually looks forward to seeing Norma and will not let anyone else care for him. It's outrageous to behave with such hostility towards a patient standing in front of you simply trying took their next appointment, as instructed by the dentist. Amazing doctor and staff! Dr. Zambrano treated me for almost 2 years. I had an underbite and some crowding. I saw an orthodontist who recommended braces on the top and bottom for 2 years. I'm happy I got a 2nd opinion from Dr. Zambrano, who told me I could do braces on the bottom and Invisalign on the top, and after the braces were removed, Invisalign on the bottom to finish everything up. About 6 months prior to finishing my treatment, I had to move out of state, and Dr. Zambrano was able to continue the treatment remotely. My underbite is gone. My teeth are perfect. I had a very good experience with my braces, I had a big overbite for no lack of teeth. I got a couple of extractions and after putting on my braces the visits to the ortho were a bit disheartening cause I knew that there was going to be a lot of tightening and new gadgets at times, but the staff was very comforting and caring during dental work. I was really taken aback today when I called to inquire about Invisalign this morning. The individual I spoke to is named GLORIA and Gloria was the rudest, most hostile person to be speaking to potential new clients. She hung up on me in midsentence. Came across as very arrogant, as if she was doing me a favor by even taking the call. There was so much background noise when speaking to her as if she was bothered by even taking the call. Really a very poor representative of this office. I can just imagine how rude and snarky Gloria would be upon checking in for an appointment. After many years, I finally decided to get braces. I went to three different consultations, one being with Zambrano, and third visit. At my current job, a co-worker referred me to Zambrano. So, after the two consultations, and VERY different views and plans on how to correct my Smile, I was very hesitant (the others wanted to proceed with numerous extractions, longer time wearing the actual braces, etc) And overall made me nervous, and questioned if I should even bother anymore. I arrived at Dr. Zambrano's office. My first impressions were the office is clean, well kept, office personnel are Super friendly, and very helpful. Finally, I met Dr. Zambrano. He took a few moments to look and decide the steps he wanted to take, to correct my Smile. Before he even mentioned his plans, he asked ME, what I wanted to do. I answered Dr. Zambrano, that didn't feel comfortable having so many extractions (except wisdom teeth) done, preferred not to wear them for so long, wanted bonded retainers. The typical concerns most people have. And he was beyond understanding and really took everything i mentioned into consideration. He really made me feel comfortable. And right then, I knew Dr. Zambrano was the ideal orthodontist I wanted to correct my Smile! And started the paperwork. Each appointment I went too, I was never disappointed, whether it was the office, office personnel, or being late a few minutes, and the office being understanding. To allow me to arrive when I do. I never so much waited longer than 15mins. Keep in mind, his office is Very busy, especially when kids are out of school, or out early that office looks like a classroom, and when scheduling an appointment they mention to come at certain times so you can avoid. Other than that, I had no problem waiting 15mins. Dr. Zambrano, is very straight forward. No sugar coating, no wanting to put you through anything that isn't needed. Now, five months ahead of schedule, no extractions done except wisdom teeth, I do have the bonded retainer on top, already, and I now have my last appointment to take off the bottom braces!!! I cannot say how completely HAPPY and Satisfied I am, having gone to Dr. Zambrano. I spent years searching for an orthodontist who was able to align my teeth WITHOUT braces. I wanted to be treated with Invisalign. (Side note: Let's get better acquainted. I am persistent until I am happy.) I went to several Miami consultations, and each and every orthodontist denied my request, labeling it "impossible" to treat with Invisalign. Back in 2010 I looked at my beautiful smile and saw some overcrowding that I wanted corrected. I interviewed four orthodontists whom I found through the Invisalign website, had consults with all four, listened to my gut and chose Dr. Zambrano. It has proven to be a GREAT decision. Dr. Zambrano is honest, upfront and a perfectionist. He and his staff have always been warm and friendly to me. There is usually no more than a 10 minute wait time (if I'm on time), which works great when I have my weekday appointments. Dr. Zambrano has three locations, Coral Gables, Key Biscayne and Miami Beach, with availability on some Saturdays as well. I am beyond pleased with my treatment. If you are considering traditional braces or Invisalign you need to visit Dr. Zambrano. I have heard of people who get Invisalign through their dentists. Please don't. Invisalign treatment, like traditional braces, will have best results if done by an orthodontist. Also, just like with any other medical or aesthetic procedure, please don't make your choice on who gives the cheapest price - too many unlicensed people in this town. I found Dr. Zambrano's price reasonable, he offers payment plans/options, and accepts insurance. Looking back on my treatment, I have gotten MORE than I paid for. It's obvious Dr. Zambrano is a professional who loves his craft, has wonderful staff and provides quality and honest service. Dr. Zambrano is an artist. I just got my braces removed and I couldn't be happier with the results. After visiting his office for over 2 years, I never had to wait more than 10 minutes for service. Excellent service, excellent results. I went in wanting to wear invisalign. Even though this method was more expensive, he convinced me to wear braces for the work I needed (he is like top 10 invisalign docs in the world, according to his office). I have been a patient since 2014, I started a braces treatment of two years. After, my braces were removed I was given permanent retainers and never went back for checkups. However, I was not consistent with my retainers and now I went back to get a checkup and I was so happy with their service and how smooth everything went. I was referred to Dr. Zambrano by a family member who went to him for their Invisalign braces. After an extremely bad experience with my previous orthodontist I was hopeful that this Zambrano guy could do what the other guy couldn't; finish straightening my teeth in a reasonable timeframe. At my consultation I had the pleasure of meeting some of his staff. They are all very knowledgeable about their field and were all super helpful throughout the process. The coordinator at this office is Maria Villegas and she was outstanding. She spoke to me about the Invisalign process and helped ease the concerns I had due to my previous attempt at straightening my teeth. Ask for Maria if you plan on going to Dr. Zambrano for your orthodontics; she's great! As for the Doctor. . . dear god. I can see why my family calls him "an artist". Not impressed. This guy loves to blame his patients for anything that's not perfect. He claims to be a perfectionist. The general public is so ignorant that they believe him. He is fake, it's so obvious. My results could have been better, he wanted to stop my trays prematurely. I had to insist on continuing due to areas that were not right yet. For the time I invested and the money I spent, I expected perfection, esp if you are living on that reputation. I could tell that he didn't like that. My teeth were perfectly straight and tight on my upper jaw when I started, he insisted that even though I only wanted to correct 4 small teeth on my lower jaw, I was required to do both upper and lower trays. This caused shifting of my uppers and made spaces between my teeth larger than I liked. Now food just keeps getting caught between my teeth when I had never had this problem before. If you complain about something he turns it around and says something to imply that it was your fault for one reason or another...never their fault. I believe this guy has a God complex, I'm in health care so I can spot someone with a God complex, I work with tons of physicians who have them. The latest was my bonded wire. He has a 3 month guarantee that if it breaks w/i 3 months he will replace it no charge. 4.5 months later mine came detached from my teeth in 2 of the 4 bonded spots, the wire did not break. I returned for them to reattach the wire. He initially wanted to charge me for this, even though the wire never broke, blaming me. To me broken and detached mean 2 different things. His exact words were "some people can't handle a wire, it's your diet and what you eat" Really???? Am I chewing on rock sandwiches? I don't think so. My opinion is the wire was not bonded well, and has nothing to do with my diet. Beavers chew with their lower front teeth not humans. Throughout my entire experience he made comments blaming me for whatever results that I mentioned I wasn't completely thrilled with. There is a way to treat and speak to patients and it's not how he does. It's not how I speak to my patients and do not expect to be responded to in this way as a patient. This does not instill trust in the patient/physician relationship. There are plenty of great orthodontists out there without god complexes. He's simply not as good as he thinks he is. Words cannot express how grateful and satisfied I am with my new smile. Thanks to Dr. Zambrano I now have a beautiful, perfect smile and most importantly.. a functional bite! I started my treatment four and a half years ago and I was an extremely complex case. I had a class III malocclusion. My bite was completely misaligned to the point where I was only able to chew on one side of my mouth. Dr. Zambrano took amazing care of me. He takes such pride in his work.. he wanted to give me a functional and beautiful smile just as much as I wanted it. I felt very special under his care and I trusted him 100% of the way. My case required Orthognathic surgery and he was very involved throughout the entire process. I am from out of town and Zambrano was willing to have me come in for an appointment because one of my brackets on my braces broke off. After waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time Dr. Zambranao came to look in my mouth. After doing so he went on and on about how hard it is to have a bracket on a crown and they do a different thing in their office, etc. He said that brackets rarely stay on the crown, etc. Then he asked me how long I have had mine on to which I replied "a year and three months"...then as if back tracking his words he was like "oh well, I guess we could try, but I don't know". Anyhow, he said he would be back with how much it would cost. Instead the nurse came back and informed me that it would be $140 to glue on one bracket. I laughed and said that was way too much. I researched it online and at the most it should have cost me $50. So I left that office feeling unhelped, and as though they were in it for a quick buck and not to do their job. I have an awesome orthodontist in my state that would do this sort of thing for free and is very caring. Dr. Zambrano seemed as though he could care less about my situation and it was like being at a department store: they don't care who you are as long as your spending your money there.
