The salty toffee latte was great, the service was friendly and they even have a kids play corner. That being said, it seemed a little pricey, I ordered a medium latte with two chocolate chip cookies and the total was $17. Overall, I'd try it again and maybe forgo the treats. I love their location too.

Brickhouse is located in downtown Harrisonville, great coffee shop location. They carry an extensive food menu, which is so nice to see for a coffee shop! I had the breakfast burrito and I appreciated that they toasted the whole thing so that the tortilla was slightly crispy. The flavoring was decent, nothing to write home about. The major win for this coffeeshop is the menu, the spaciousness of the place, and has ample seating. When I was there, no music was playing, and I think adding some music in the background could be appreciated. Felt quiet like a library.

Downtown Harrisonville, MO in the square we found a really good coffee shop. We ordered a coffee and a sausage, egg & cheese croissant. We didn't get a # so we got lost in the shuffle. We went to the counter to ask about the sandwich and they apologized and took care of us immediately. When she brought it to the table she apologized again and offered us a cinnamon roll for the trouble. We declined because they handled it so well. (Happy to see a small business doing well) Super nice people & the place was hopping. We would go back.

I was craving some coffee while in Harrisonville and decided to give this little place a try. Super cute and a HUGE place! I love the coffee board and the explanations of the drinks, many people get confused by the different drinks so I think it's a great idea! As far as the coffee though I had ordered my cortado and the girl making my drink didn't know what it was. The other girl explained it to her, but it was very weak and tasted like a small latte. The girl was very kind and asked me what I thought about it so I gave her my honest opinion. I'm just under the thought that before you are going to be a barista you should know how to make every drink well. Hopefully she is perfecting it bc I would totally go back again when I'm in town and try it again.

I love checking out coffee shops in other towns on vacations and road trips, it gives me a perspective on the vibe of the town. This weekend Harrisonville was my first caffeine break after leaving KC on my way to central Missouri. The Brickhouse is on the corner of the old town square, kitty cornered from the Cass County Courthouse. Tall ceilings with brick walls surround large open spaces with stone and wood accents with lots of natural lighting and a faux chandelier centerpiece in one of the two main rooms. It appears they have a downstairs but it was roped off, possible due to the Covid issue(?) and a patio. Speaking of the Covid issue, I was startled to witness no employee wearing a mask. Coming form KC where it is a requirement, I was quite shocked that management would not mandate it even if Cass County is not requiring it for food service employees. On a more positive observance, I liked the descriptive chalkboard art showing the different cup sizes and strengths of caffeine for all standard coffee shop drinks. Exactly the kind of visual my wife needs to order espresso based drinks in confidence. My tight stout Machiatto was spot on.

Really nice atmosphere. The Chicken Caesar wrap was a good choice. The staff was helpful and the waitress really stood out.

Delicious food, delightful service. I had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the grilled cheese. Both were delicious, side biscuits we're perfect. Definitely will be coming back for the breakfast burrito!

Fast for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. Walking distance is do able since it's located near the square.

Most of my orders have been curbside pickup since it's right around the corner from my house, and the process has always been quick and seamless. Let me tell you about the Great Salmon Caper Sandwich. A soft, pillowy brioche bun, flaky grilled salmon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a creamy, tangy aioli. It is quite literally one of the best salmon sandwiches I've ever had. When I say I'll never get sick of this sandwich, I mean it. It's a genuine 10/10 and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The Cluckers are also excellent and come with an absurd amount of food. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces can sometimes be so large that the chicken-to-breading ratio feels a little off. Other than that, they're fantastic. The breading is seasoned perfectly, the chicken is juicy, and the price is extremely affordable for the portion size. The homemade honey mustard is also some of the best I've ever had and is easily my favorite dipping sauce on the menu. Wally's is one of those places that never disappoints. Fast service, affordable prices, generous portions, and consistently great food make it an easy recommendation.

Longboards has been part of my story since my UMKC days. I first went after hearing all the hype,…read moreand as they've expanded, I've followed them from location to location. When they finally opened in Overland Park, I was ecstatic -- it felt like my old college staple had grown up with me. One side note that says it all: during KU Hospital orientation, HR did that classic icebreaker -- "What's your favorite restaurant?" Someone mentioned Longboards, and instantly a chorus of people chimed in with "Yeah!" That kind of reaction tells you everything -- Longboards isn't just food, it's a Kansas City cult favorite. Menu-wise, they do things differently. Think grilled burrito-style wraps or deli-style cold wraps, but you can make any of them into an "OG" (their giant version with a hard-boiled egg inside) or turn them into a rice bowl. That's what makes it fun -- the creativity of the flavors plus the flexibility to make it your own. My forever go-to is the Argentine quesadilla flat wrap -- steak, shrimp, guac, mozzarella, pico, and chimichurri ranch. It's basically surf-and-turf at a reasonable price, and the flavors just explode. Easily a 10/5. I usually grab a second item too. This time it was the WOW Kung Pao wrap -- chicken, peanuts, veggies, rice, spicy Chinese sauce. Think kung pao stir-fry, but wrapped up. Perfect balance of heat and crunch, a solid 4/5. Over the years , I've also loved the 5 Alarm Beef (spicy, but worth it). The the Cabo chicken/steak (crowd favorites), and the 619 OG (go big or go home) are prety solid too. And don't sleep on their rotating monthly creations -- some of the most fun menu items they've done. My favorite was One Time in Bangkok -- as spicy and naughty as it sounds. Basically a pad thai wrap loaded with Thai Peanut, Spicy Chinese, and 5 Alarm sauce. Absolutely amazing, and another 10/5. Honestly wish they'd make it a permanent menu item. The sauces are what really set Longboards apart. They bottle a few (Thai Peanut, 5 Alarm, Chipotle Ranch, Teriyaki), and I wish they'd sell their Spicy Chinese sauce too -- it's that good. Same with the chimichurri ranch on the Argentine -- I could honestly bathe in both of them. Pro tip: grab a bottle of Thai Peanut sauce and use it at home to instantly level-up Trader Joe's bowls. Sometimes the bottles are half off during happy hour times. I've tried their noodle bowls and rice bowls -- tasty, but rice noodles aren't my thing. And the Hawaiian sliders? Hard pass. Stick to the wraps, flat wraps, or OG-style burritos and you can't go wrong. The staff is always friendly, the food is consistent -- super quick, super fresh, always hot. Seating is limited (this location is mainly carry-out), but I love the surf-inspired vibe with the surfboard-shaped countertop. What makes Longboards stand out most is the value. They've managed to keep prices fair while maintaining high quality -- even post-COVID, when so many places either dropped standards or raised prices. That combination of affordability, creativity, flexibility, and consistency is rare. Longboards is a KC institution for a reason. Five stars every time.

It seemed to have a lot of imitation crab and very little shrimp. I could not taste the wasabi mayo at all though it definitely had some sort of mayo base. There was also only 1 piece of cucumber in my half of wrap. It was more like a crab salad wrap. Too wet. I was definitely disappointed as it was not what I expected. The Cabo chicken wrap was much better tasting and I don't like ranch dressing! The dining area was clean and cool. Servers were friendly.

Since then they've expanded with several locations and I end up going to closer locations. But recently the monthly special was out at my normal Longboards but this location had it, so I ended up back in the old stomping grounds. I ordered online with no issues. They have a lot of parking. The building is pretty good sized, they basically have two rooms, one is just seating. Hawaiian vibes. Service is always friendly. I had a brief wait but my food was super fresh so I didn't mind. On my most recent visit I tried the monthly special, which was the Shaka surf and turf wrap. It was large and I had enough for two meals. I liked the tempura shrimp and the noodles.
