My grandma, who has since passed, always spoke so highly of Longboards and encouraged me to try it. I never got around to it while she was here, but I finally gave it a shot recently--and I'm really glad I did. The food was genuinely good, and now I understand why she loved it so much. I decided to try this place today for lunch via Door dash. I ordered the Thai chicken wrap and garlic potato salad. The wrap was flavorful with a little kick. It has chicken, veggies and rice. It wasn't able to finish it all but wow I'll definitely be ordering again. The potato salad lived up to its garlic name though I had to add a little mustard to it. Their wraps are giant and hearty. I always have a half leftover but they heat up great. If you're hungry and needing some quality food, Longboards is the way to go. I then took the time to drive to the store and there the phone was 13 minutes later still on a call with my cell number on the screen. Always good food when I eat here, here. I got the "619" which is one of the wraps I get when I go there. I've had other things on the menu too and have never been disappointed. So after almost a year of eating Longboards I feel I need to update my review. Still a 5-star review, if I could rate it higher then I would. First timers should try their Cabo Chicken or Beef. It is fantastic and in my opinion the best wrap on the menu. If you don't like guacamole then maybe try the Grilled Cheese Quesadilla first. It's just cheese, meat, rice and sauce and will get you acclimated to their style, but please get more adventurous the next time. When they have their special wraps and it sounds remotely good to you....try them! They are only there for a limited time and if you don't travel to other Longboards it could be a while before they are back at your location. The Mac Wrap, the Chipotle Killer, and the East Meets West are just a few of my favorites. I will tell anyone that will listen to go to Longboards. It is without a doubt my favorite place to eat. I eat there a minimum of once a week and have ate there up to 4 times in one week. EAT LONGBOARDS! read more

Went here for an early dinner at about 5:00pm. Empty place until we arrived. We all ordered. Waited about 5 minutes & the food was ready. Pretty quick. I got the tofu and veggie bowl. Almost no veggies and a very small portion. A friend got the spring rolls thinking that they would be veggie. When they arrived we realized they were chicken, we asked them to remake them with just veggies and the rude girl up front told us it was impossible to just make veggie spring rolls. Shout out: we had a screaming baby and they were super accommodating. They heated up water in a special container so we could warm up his bottle. They even brought out a towel and were so sweet about it. Atmosphere: it's a very unique place for Lee's Summit. It's got a Cali/Hawaii/Surfer vibe going. Lots of beachy decor, VW busses, and Tiki guys. They are really aiming to make it feel like you're not in the Midwest. Food: Cabo beef wrap was very good. If I could give this place 500 stars I would! It's delicious and never disappoints! I was ecstatic to hear Longboards opened in Lee's Summit, as I've been driving 45min for the one in Mission because again... The food is that good! Now this location is 10min from where I live, and I have a feeling I'm going to be making weekly visits. I love the Cabo chicken wrap! The ingredients taste fresh and the guacamole is perfectly distributed within the wrap. It's not all clumped to one side or lightly spread out. Also the chipotle ranch is a true winner! Everything about the wrap and its flavor is phenomenal! Last time I went I tried the Tai Roll and once again was so impressed! I usually don't like celery but in the wrap it compliments the other ingredients perfectly. The peanut sauce is excellent, and the flavor is so unique compared to what other restaurants offer. For sides I highly recommend the pita with hummus! The hummus has great flavor and this side really hit the spot! It's very inexpensive and the perfect portion for adding alongside a wrap or bowl. My only complaint is I had more hummus than pita and was left wishing I had a bit more pita for dipping. Overall prices are awesome! Food is stellar! And if you haven't been to Longboards....
