We were greeted and told to sit anywhere we wanted. Ambiance: It's a smaller, fairly echoey restaurant, but it's a pizza joint... it's kind of to be expected. After a few, our waitress came and I ordered waters. For some reason our table was missing the drink menu... all others had one. It took a few minutes for our waitress to find one for us. I ordered the Galaxy Lemonade, Jennie chose the Bahama Mama. We were both very disappointed in our drinks. Minute clearly had the Blue Curaçao in it, but there wasn't even the tiniest hint of the Empress Gin... a gin with a very distinctive flavor. It was so lacking that I actually asked our waitress if it was forgotten. I think the drink should've been great, but the curaçao was overpowering the gin. There was 1oz of each liquor. I think 3/4oz BC and 1.25oz Empress might've made it better. While Jennie prefers sweeter drinks, the BM was VERY sweet-forward, lacking flavor from either rum. We are all about the "well-balanced beverage"... neither of these were. Our appetizer (5 Buffalo wings) & pizza arrived at the same time. I thought the wings were great. The heat/flavor ratio was damn-near perfect. Jennie felt they had a bit too much heat... I disagree :) Our thin-crust pizza was also great. Toppings: garlic, tomato, banana peppers, & pepperoni. I feel there should've been much more garlic on it, as it was ordered as a topping, but overall, the crust had a perfect crispness all the way under, so it could be picked up by the edge. We both enjoyed it! The food is worth picking up, but if I'm going to sit in a restaurant for food and drink, I'd like to enjoy the drink. For that reason, we probably won't be back. read more

This place in ok and convenient to the Hampton when staying in Keene . Everything is mediocre about it, food and service are fine. The prices are reasonable, and its always packed so they are doing something right. But for instance the Chicken Caesar wrap is small and not tasty at all. Simple order on my second visit. First visit was just after opening and it was very loud and I believe no pizza. Which was disappointing because I loved Amicci's pizza. So great to hear they are back making pizza and the dining space is much better and not as noisy. Anyway...bottom line is the pizza is still the bomb if you like NY style and a crispy no flop crust. The wings are meaty, the sauces are just meh. We got the Caribbean jerk, sweet chili, hot, buffalo, and mango habanero. Not much heat on any of them. Pizza is a personal thing. What you love I may hate, and visa versa. My wife ordered the personal pizza w 1 topping and I ordered the small pizza with 2 toppings. My humble opinion is that the pizza is mediocre. We each ordered a side salad, but got 2 full salads and they charged us for them. Oddly, the salads and pizzas were served together .... Went here for the first time yesterday. I ordered two orders of five wings. One with Jamaican Jerk Spice and one with Honey BBQ. The wings were large and meaty. The Honey BBQ wings were over sauced, I felt, but tasted good nonetheless. The Jamaican Jerk wings had a slight heat and I enjoyed them very much. Also had a very cold draft Switchback Ale. Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Definitely be going back. "The Brick" is the old Joe Peanuts Wings. The building used to be a Pizza Hut and that can add charm to any setting in a certain type of way. Anyways, they appear to have the same good quality wings and around 20 sauces choices which is good. The bar appears to be the same. They seem to have added pizza, calzones, and a few apps. We tried the nachos with chili. The portion was large, but it wasn't any good. The pretzels bites were clearly from frozen, but were quite good. Found the best and biggest wings with loads of flavor!! We had the dry rub wings, they had a sweet brown sugar coating, perfect, not too sweet. Stumbled into this place by accident and glad we did. Got seated quickly very clean dining area and good beer tap list. Not a lot of local (Keene brewers) but a lot of NH the distributor definitely runs the tap list. Menu was well diverse with wings, a variety of salads, wraps and burgers and of course pizza and calzones. We had bourbon wings for an appetizer and the wings were crispy and flavorful. Main course was chicken Cesar wrap and tuna melt. The wrap had a plentiful amout of oven roasted chicken with white and dark meat and wasn't over dressed which can happen a lot with a Caesar wrap. My wife said her tuna melt was tasty and perfectly toasted bread with lettuce and fresh tomato. Service was friendly and attentative. Hope to go back soon! read more

Wings were jumbo like the description says. The Cajun dry run was okay, but wish it was a touch hotter. Personal preference, but would rather have normal size and pay more. She was really patient with me ahahah ( I'm really indecisive ) my boyfriend is really sensitive to sound and the music was hurting his ears so we asked if she could turn the music down and she immediately did and asked if it was okay. First of all, I would give this place 5 stars for service, ambiance, and price. We used to come here last year and loved the food but at some point they updated the menu. They removed all their burgers which I get, it's a wings and pizza place. But their veggie burger was really good and as a vegetarian my only other option now is pizza as a main course. The first beer on tap I ordered from the right side was way to warm. The beer was foaming way to much, I explained to the Bar tender ED, that is why it was foaming. I gave the beer back , and he mentioned the right side was not doing that, and my beer from that side was much colder. I explained the temp for beer on tap should be no higher than 36°F the perfect temp is actually 34° F. He actually tempted it after I requested it ,and it was a ridiculous 41°. I payed and tipped a generous 45% of my bill. Before leaving I asked to speak with the head cook, and was simply blown off by him. I was not happy he could not even come out for 2 min to speak to me. I ordered the pulled pork Mac & cheese, and was extremely disappointed, visually it looked like sombody had just scooped it out of some crock pot meal. It was extremely bland, and was not flavourful at all. Their was no traditional cheddar taste, and the pulled pork had no flavor, it was like it was a boiled meat! I would not recommend this meal to anyone. I was expecting some really good bbq/ comfort style food, not your Sunday church crock pot meal made by 75 year old Mrs. Jones in her $11.00 crock pot. Would have been much better if at least the pulled pork was served over the mac n cheese with some BBQ sauce and stuck in the oven. but maybe not even that probably would help. The Mac n cheese was the worst I've ever had in a restaurant! Really? Thats the best you can do head cook? Very disappointed, will be back in 3 weeks for another review. Brickhouse has decent pizza, which for any pizza place in Keene is high praise indeed. Excellent pizza in Keene just doesn't exist. Where Brickhouse really shines is in the chicken, burgers, fries, and onion rings. Large portions, more than reasonably priced. A basket of six large chicken tenders, with a good amount of hand cut, crispy french fries, is only $8.95, with your choice of any of their wings sauces. My friend actually couldn't finish hers, and took the rest home for supper. Service is usually fast and friendly, Since Brickhouse is in the same plaza as the Keene Cinemas, it's a great spot for a casual meal before or after a movie, even for the kids. One caveat: Since the building is one large room, which was originally a Pizza Hut, it can be noisy during busy times. read more

I have eaten here a few times. The food is very good and the beer is cold. Cost of beer has gone up since I used to go out regularly but I thank the JOEVID-19 for that. The young lady who served me was very nice and very pretty! Sevice was good and food was good. The staff works together as a team. The place was rather noisy since the game was on but that is to be expected, since the it is a sports bar. It is a very good sports bar in a very good location that is colocated with several hotels/motels, a movie theather and shopping. It is also located near several highways and state routes for ease of travel. The location used to be a pizza hut years ago. I suspect the current use is a better one for adults to visit at night as a local watering hole. There were several couples and families in attendence as well, so one could argue that the place is family oriented during the afternoon and early evening.
