Not sure what you all are b******* about in your reviews. Haven't been here since I was in school at KSC 25 years ago, and it's pretty much like I remember it! Ok, so the decor probably hasn't changed too much, but it's typical pizza place. As for service, they were SLAMMED. It's Monday night and it took a few minutes because they were stuck on a phone order. Tons of takeout, as they are one of the few places open. We ordered hot grinders (chicken parm and meatball) and sat down. The way the reviews described it, I was expecting someone to holler our name and make us come get the food. Which wouldn't have bothered me, because like I said, they were slammed. Both grinders... delicious. Perfect amount of cheese, meat, and sauce. Not much more to say, but bon appetit! read more

As I do think quality wise and taste is the best in town, they're sooo slow! 40 minutes now on 1 pizza for take out. The ambience reminds me of old school Pizza Hut with the dine in tables. This place was good yrs back but now when you order delivery, they tell you 25-30 mins and why I decided to leave this review. I was told 25-30 mins over an hour and half ago. I tried calling three times and all three times a busy signal. The only option I see on their website is to call...no text or email option i see. The last time ordering pizza by the time it arrived. was cold and horrible tasting not happy .....this is our last. With all the numerous options in the area for subs, wings and pizza.....not staying with this place! We rotate ordering from one place to another in Keene because it seems once you choose a favorite, that's when you're let down however I doubt I will change my place ordering salads for Cheshire Pizza not only has very generous size salads but packed full with fresh veggies. My favorite is salad with chicken. Delivery is always a good experience as well........arrives all in tack by a courteous employee while other places have had salads and/or fries delivered with containers partly opened and salads appearing to have slid around in travel. read more

I got the grilled chicken salad and it was fabulous. The chicken had such a perfect amount of seasoning and wasn't dry at all. Some places give you chicken so dry you can literally try using a chainsaw and still can't cut through them. read more

Too many times I call to order buffalo wings and ask that they are not over cooked, repeating that I don't want them crispy. They assure me they will let the cook know, and every time they are over cooked. This last time I ordered 2 bottles of 2 liter drinks and buffalo wings, along with a few pizzas, sent my son in and when we got home, the bag was missing both 2 liter drinks and the buffalo wings were not only NOT buffalo wings, just plain wings, but SO FRIGGIN crispy. Since we moved here, the experience there has been up and down. They HAD the best buffalo wings around but now get them wrong too many times. For the prices they charge and the reduction in food quantity now, isn't worth the risk. Sadly, we are saying goodbye to our Friday night takeout establishment. read more

Cheshire Village Pizza is a typical American style pizza place. The staff is friendly, the service is fairly quick, and the restaurant is clean. However, the food is just below average and nothing about it sticks out. The quality and style of pizza is comparable to dominos or Pizza Hut, but Cheshire's pizza is a lot more greasy. I'd probably pick a chain pizza place over these guys because it's cheaper, faster, and of a similar quality. read more

I ordered a large pizza and instead of cutting it in normal pizza slices we got 2 inch squares, strips of pizza some fat some thin we did get 2 pieces that looked like pizza it was completely hacked. I got a large BLT with all the veggies paid $9.76 for it...The sandwich contained: 3 pieces of bacon, shredded lettuce, sprinkle of olives, 2 tomato slices, mayo, 5 squares of green pepper, shredded lettuce, onion (I think I tasted onion), 2 slices of provolone (one slice per half), 4 pickle slices, mayo. July 10, 2010 I ordered a meal, a substitution was made with out asking me. When I complained, the manager grabbed my plate from my hand and tossed it in the garbage and I was told "pasta is pasta, and I could eat else where", then he proceeded to the register and handed me some money, which was not the full amount I paid for the meal. I will gladly eat else where after this, and encourage my friends to do so as well. If I owned this busisness, I would be horrified to think my customers were being treated this way. Fantastic pizza place in my book, although I have not personally had any of their pizza. I know plenty of people that have and they rave about it. I was at this establishment last evening, and experienced a customer encounter with the manager that absolutely floored me. A man received some pasta which was not what he ordered and when bringing it to the counter the manager threw the plate in the garbage, put a $5 bill on the counter, and said "pasta is pasta, if you dont like it go somewhere else". UNREAL!!! I own 2 local businesses, and would terminate an employee immediately if they delivered such poor customer service. I will no longer support this business. read more
