I like that they look over the car carefully and identify the issues that need fixing. I brought in my wife's car for an oil change, and they noted that the headlights were very hazy. I hadn't even noticed. I had them resurface the lights, and WOW what a difference. Any time they identify a bigger ticket repair that needs doing, they call and get permission. The small stuff they just fix, and charge a VERY reasonable rate. I'm very happy to have courteous mechanics who take pride in what they do.

After my vehicle was inspected and work completed I am adding additional information to my post. I feel that their service/evaluation was thorough, and their communication throughout the process was exemplary. They are going to do follow up work on my brakes and I will see how that goes. I understand that anyone can have a bad day, and I think they deserve a second chance at a first impression based on how they handled the scheduling error, and their word-of-mouth reputation.

Anyways I notice when going to work early morning my Chevy Trailblazer (Who I named Old Faithful) was reving really hard. As I continued to drive it out to where I had to go the Check Engine light went on. I had this problem before which is an Engine Misfire. On one of the Sparkplugs and Cylinders. I had contact my relative and she sent me to Midas In Eden Prairie, MN. Boy DID I MAKE A BIG MISTAKE. Midas told me I had to replace a whole cylinder head!! IT was gonna cost me $6k!! That is like a good used car! On top of that they we're inspecting other parts of the car that was not necessary! Unfortunately, I had to pay $122 for the diagnostic but I by change had contacted on Craig's List another Mechanic who referred me to Erik. I had told Erick and he himself was shocked at my story! He new Midas was BS-ing and I went to him. My engine was still fine! I just needed new spark plugs which he believed Midas technicians damage by pulling it out the improper way and new great quality coils which I should have don vs buying from Ebay.
