I had some issues with the brakes and rotors on my Silverado. Being an out of state customer in the middle of traveling made my situation so stressful. Riverside Automotive was super helpful and worked with me to get my vehicle serviced so I could get back on the road safely. They were upfront about the cost and handled my vehicle with speed and care. Waiting for the service was also a comfortable experience, the free WiFi and refreshments are a nice touch. Horrible place to take your car. beyond the bad job they did on aligning my truck three times. which still drifts To the left slightly whilst the steering wheel is clocked to the right slightly. the service writer mark with the baggy pants that are too long. almost like he's trying to hid his extremely small feet. You know what they say....small feet.....Anyway he talked smack about me to my gf not once but twice. He even got a dig in about berghammers werk a year earlier. I wouldn't bring my worst enemies car here to get fixed. As a matter fact to bad the fire they had didn't force them to close permanently. they are a blight on the community. I had to select a star to post this review. that's the only reason they get one star. They deserve nothing. Except an eviction notice from Everett smith their landlord. read more

Our 2008 Nissan Frontier pickup is our only vehicle, so getting a ride from the shop and back after the repairs was an unexpected and greatly appreciated bonus. Timely repairs were appreciated, too. Both times I've had our truck in to Riverside Automotive Repairs I've been impressed with the workmanship, knowledge, and speed the shop provides. I'd been told by several Frontier owners (the truck is new to me) that a synthetic transmission oil might help a little with the truck's cold shifting. David couldn't come up with the oil that had been recommended, but I was impressed enough with his knowledge of the problem and the vehicle that decided to go with his recommendation. He was dead-on and the truck sifted like a dream after the old oil was replaced with a 75-90 weight synthetic. He got that job done and fixed the rattling heat-shield(s?) on the truck's muffler in less than an hour. A couple of weeks later, I brought the truck back to have the glitchy Viper "security system" removed and the truck's electric doors returned to stock. The rewiring job was professional and done right. I was able to get my new stock Nissan remote door units to work in the driveway and I couldn't ask for the work to have been better or for a more reasonable price. We've just moved to Red Wing and it is really nice to know we have a great shop nearby. read more

They have done well. I had Matt install an electric brake controller in my car and he did a great job. I could not see where the controller would go. Matt solved it. He did an amazing job! Friendly, Courteous, and Helpful On our departure day from Red Wing we noted a sensor light was on, which we mistakenly thought was the oil sensor. With no Mazda dealer within many miles, we stopped in Riverside. Mark, the service rep, was most friendly and knowledgeable. Even though he was busy, he took the time to check our oil and answer some questions. No charge.
