The directors and staff are deeply knowledgeable and get to know all of the students and families on a personal level. Some things that set Wonders apart from other places we looked are that kids stay in the same class all year long, with the same teachers and classmates, which has really really helped my kids' growth and confidence and allowed them to develop close relationships. Wonders also provides lunch and snacks, which makes life easier. Lastly, having the playground right outside the center makes it easy to build relationships with other families and creates a closeknit community.

Bad--they were short staffed. My daughter was looking forward to sewing and baking, but for like 2 weeks it wasn't avaliable. This camp is expensive, so no bueno. Also, last day of camp, they called me as I was on the way to pick the kids up. I thought they were calling because it was exactly 6, and I was late, and it was the very last day of camp. The camp counselor says "your son is bleeding a lot out of his nose, it's A LOT of blood" I rushed in. They tell me another kid punched him in the face, but they don't know what happened. They asked who was watching the kids? They said they were too busy, so don't know what happened. The camp counselor said they were understaffed, that they had been "asking for more staff like the other camps have", and that she was going to write a complaint about it. I asked her to send me an incident report via email. This counselor also said "we'll be here tomorrrow (Saturday) cleaning up and will send the incident report. She never sent it to me. It's funny because before the kids did this camp, I saw a review from a mom saying something about the kids being unsupervised, and her kid got hurt, but I thought maybe this mom was overreacting. Now I see what she is saying. Would I send them again? Yes, because they really loved it. The counselors are nice, but they need proper support and the kids can be free, but should still be supervised. I would probably drive a little extra and take them to one that is staffed better.

Andrew has been a mentor, a parent figure to my boys who were dealing with the loss of their primary caregiver, providing care, love, guidance and emotional support. The love he has for his role and ALL of the kids at KAH is unmatched. He always eased any nervousness I had in the beginning when my boys started Explorers, assuring their safety. I could go on but I will stop Lilly the former Director at Rosemary Hills also welcomed my kids with gentle arms, a big smile, a soft nurturing personality, I truly miss her and wish her the very best, she was truly a blessing to us all!! Their little sister who is 3, adored Lilly and can't wait to say good morning daily to Andrew. It's a bilingual school, but their summer program doesn't have any formal non-English language…read morelearning. The kids are generally exposed to other languages because the language teachers are "present throughout the summer program" and "language exposure is offered through basic words/phrases, songs and cultural exploration". Though I would prefer formal language instruction during the summer, I realize they're aiming to work with a mixed level group because some of their campers aren't the same kids they have during the school year where language learning takes place more often and more formally. In other words, some children come to the camp without knowing any other language besides English and each week different children may be enrolled. I ask my child all the time if they enjoy the camp and always inquire about the details of their day. My child has nothing but good things to say. They always come home with arts, crafts, and tales of adventures in the pool, playground, or specialty events such as the occasional soccer, puppet show, or whatnot. The main reason I enrolled my child is because they were very bored at their school-year daycare, started to get into a bit of trouble because of it, and complained about the other kids being "mean" and hitting sometimes and all of that. I knew my little one needed a change of pace so I sought to put them into what looked like a strong activity-based and high-engagement summer program. My child needs a lot of constant engagement, stimulation, and encouragement and my little one is certainly receiving that at Spring Bilingual. As I shared before, my child speaks with excitement about their day and has nothing but good things to say about the teachers and other campers. This camp has been a very good fit for my child right now; albeit the lack of formal language instruction. The staff is friendly, and my energetic child has made friends and is happy to be dropped off each morning. Each day my child comes home safe and tired.

Every staff member is eager to support, listen, learn, and educate! The Curriculum: Wow! From the infant room to Pre-k, WKA truly fosters an environment where children develop a love for learning!! I have pictures of my 3-month-old painting with corn during Autumn, exploring textures by painting on bubble wrap, enjoying music class, engaging in circle time, and learning about the outdoor environment through daily walks...and that was just the beginning! Recent Pre-K lessons included meteorology, biographies, and space, just to name a few! Each day, the lesson plan is intentionally crafted to develop each learning domain! WKA is a Spanish immersion program, our son only speaks in English from what we've learned to teach him. This review is for the Mad Science Summer Camp ONLY…read more This business is the kind where they find a place to rent out for a few weeks sight unseen *so the venue can be filthy, falling apart, dangerous as in failing equipment, broken down classroom seating and utensils, and they won't know it. Our camp was housed in a filthy and musty public elementary school in a small classroom. This room was too small for the entire group and so all were cramped. The reality was ALARMING that the instructors function as bodies to direct a script but are not truly educators *so you can have a recent college grad with a BA in History teaching your kid "science" and add to that a person not in tune, or give a hoot about kids, how to educate, nurture nor watch over children. Worst of all and YIKES they do not not pay attention nor supervise these kids, they are hands off if any trouble or accidents happen and they do not report injuries to the parents. These instructors are oblivious about harm done to the student and are more worried about having time to get and eat lunch, drinking Starbucks, being on their phones, etc.* SOOOOOO With that as the preface all I can say is do not waste your money because your child will not learn much science. All they will get is a babysitter who pretends to be a teacher, who if you are lucky feigns cheeriness, add to that the other children in the class will not respect the instructor nor their peers and as in the case of my daughter, get physically injured. SO WHAT HAPPENED? An experiment went sideways and my daughters entire back had the skin scraped off while being pulled by a boy to the point that her shirt came up while being pulled the equipment broke, and the skin came off she was left with a raw back, no attention was given and it was bleeding. The instructor kept her mouth SHUT and only when I went to hug my daughter once I picked her up, did she cry out in pain and showed me her entire back was still bleeding. The instructors were gone by then so I had to wait until the next day. I went up to the main instructor the next day and told her it was unacceptable to hide a severe injury such as what my daughter had suffered and all she could muster was "I AM SORRY I HAD NO CLUE ANYTHING HAPPENED" Huh? Aren't they watching a group of 6 and 7 year olds? And there were 2 instructors for the group. I WOULD NOT TRUST ANY MAD SCIENCE SUMMER CAMP AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. ***I find it highly unusual that they have such high reviews seems suspicious and why I question every five star review*** it
