Bricks & Minifigs in Issaquah is hands-down the best LEGO store around. As a parent of five boys who are all obsessed with LEGOs, we've been to our fair share of brick resale shops--and most of them are cluttered, cramped, and tough to navigate. But this location is a totally different experience. It's clean, well-organized, and so much more than just a resale store. They carry everything: new sets, resealed sets, pre-built models, rare Minifigs, custom Minifigs, and even a build-your-own Minifig station that my kids love. There's a great window display and lots of cool pre-built sets throughout the shop--just walking around is fun! The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. Sometimes we stop by just to browse and see what's new, and we always feel welcome. Prices are fair and generally close to market value. Sure, you might find something a little cheaper online, but you risk the condition of the set--and don't forget about shipping costs. There's peace of mind in buying locally and being able to inspect what you're getting. Plus, you're supporting a local business. Oh, and did I mention they host parties and special events regularly? This shop isn't just selling bricks--it's building a community. I have nothing but respect for the team that runs it. Highly recommend checking it out!

Super helpful and friendly staff. The best part? They'll buy them back so your LEGO habit won't ruin the kids' college fund.

Updating my review since it's been a couple of years. This is a Mormon/LDS bookstore that has much…read moremore than just books. Deseret Book is owned by the LDS Church. Prices are reasonable. They have a book club like Barnes & Noble that you have to pay $25 to join with a yearly renewal. It's worth the cost if you are a frequent buyer but not if you rarely come in. You get 6 free digital downloads and some free items with membership, among discounts and other things they toss in. The temple clothing store is now part of Deseret Book. It's located in the back of the store. All of the clothes for the temple along with kids clothes for baptisms and blessings are sold here. They now let you try things on before you buy. This chain sells a lot of things besides books. They also sell the following as long as it's Christian or spiritually based: office supplies, art (prints, framed oils, sculptures), home decor, crafts, board games, DVDs, CDs, jewelry, sheet music, church classroom materials, scrapbooking supplies, and more. They sell some candies, snacks and beverages. They sell fry sauce for those from Utah who like it and can't figure out how to squeeze mayo and ketchup into a bowl and mix it together. ;) If you come in on a weekday, the staff is few so expect to wait for a bit for service.

This location…read morestarted going down hill during covid and it looks like it finally failed the test of society. Bad management, terrible customer service, crabby corporate decisions are all reasons why a location fails. I've experienced many bad scenarios of customer service here. I brought in an umbrella once on a rain day and got stocked around like I stole it. I stopped supporting this location when they introduced the ai technology where they make you wait so the thing can scan you before entering. Shelves started becoming stocked less and less and I sort of figured they were starting to shut down. During covid they closed the main changing rooms and installed the front ones. They timed you in these booths and if you took longer than 15 min they rudely requested people to leave them. It amazes me how customers heavily disrespect public areas. I've seen parents let their children just play with toys and merch like it was their play ground. Then blame it on the clerks when the clerk requested them to pick it up or leave... I've seen targeted harassment by loss prevention on customers. It's difficult I know unless you have all 5 elements of loss prevention you can not say so and so is stealing. I'm not surprised this location went down hill. Bad customer service, poorly run stores, high turn over, terrible corporate decisions.... Bs like this is why I stopped shopping Ross. Another reason I stopped shopping here is because I couldn't find anything that fit. I refuse to buy clothing unless I try it on. Many of their styles did not fit me so I came less and less. Lack of cashiers and long lines during peak shopping times. This is another reason I stopped coming here. Cashiers ranged in service from okay to snooty or I hate my job so I'll be rude to the customers. It ranged all over the place. A lot of times during peak shopping times the lines would get long. Most customers do not understand there are two lines one for returns and one for check out. Return policy is terrible. I'd buy things try them on when I get home or find out the item I bought wasn't quite right for what I needed it for... I'd go back to return it and ... some times I'd get my full refund other times they would not give it to me. They were real hard asses about return policy. Another reason why I stopped shopping here.
