So we stopped by Bricks and Minifigs in Riverside off University exit a few nights ago since we were in the area getting food! Parking was kind of hard to find by the way. Despite them closing in about 20 minutes both associates working were friendly and they had a great selection of rare Lego pieces! Definitely worth a look if you are a fan of Legos!

Just a small portion of the rare mini figures.

We were able to make our way to BAM-Riverside today and easy to say we were NOT disappointed. We were able to buy a ton of rare mini figures and a rare set for our little builder. We were also able to trade. We were given fair value, which was unusual for us as we have been to other BAM's and we did not have the same fair experience there. Ryan and his son Paxton delivered excellent customer service, were very knowledgeable in the sets that were available. We spent about 1.5 hours in there between the purchases and great conversation. We believe the value of the experience is just as good at the products sold. If you are looking for rare or discontinued Lego sets then look no further. We love small businesses and will continue to support. Cannot wait to go back! Thank you BAM-Riverside!

    My son builds it.

Fun, fantasy and figures. What's not to like? My grandson had a blast and found some unique pieces for his collection of Legos. Recommend.

I explained my project and he seemed disinterested in the idea and gave short one word answered and walked away. Seemed to care more about sorting rocket engines and helping a customer who was looking at a new rc car than myself or my son. Went to ask someone else for help. Aiden listened to our ideas and we needed. He went to work to provide us with the materials we needed and was very kind to myself and my son Aiden single handedly saved our experience. From my observations the black polo shirt gentleman seemed to be management - where I think Aiden would have been a better manager. Hobby stores are hard to come by these days and this experience could have easily converted me to seek guidance online, however Aiden changed this. Please go to this store for Aiden. But avoid the guy in the black polo shirt belongs in the tool selection.

I rearranged my schedule and made time to come back based on what your staff told me. When I arrived today, I was told they still weren't out yet. When I asked if there was anything they could do since I was specifically instructed to come back at that time, the employee at the front basically acted indifferent and just said there was nothing they could do. I've been in retail for years, and entering inventory into a system is not some massive impossible task. This honestly came across as laziness and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Don't tell customers to come back at a specific time if you're not actually prepared to follow through. Traffic and gas prices in Southern California are terrible. People are spending real time and money to come support your business, so at least be considerate of that when making promises to customers. I understand inventory processing takes time, but communication and effort matter. A simple apology or attempt to help would have gone a long way. The store is large and packed with product, but there also weren't many customers there, which makes the lack of urgency even more frustrating. The owner should seriously consider improving management and customer service standards because experiences like this are exactly why customers stop coming back.

Here at Haiku Pop I feel more accepted and comfortable than any other card shop I've been to. The owner has been incredibly helpful and patient with me (and my friend who I'm trying to get into Magic). They do commander nights Friday-Sunday too for anyone wondering As far as selection goes, I spotted most if not all of the recent precons from Magic and lots of juicy staple cards behind the glass counter. I play Magic so that's naturally what my eye went towards, but I did notice a wide variety of Disney's Lorcana, One Piece, Pokemon, and Yugioh as well. Their selection of card sleeves and deck boxes did leave something to be desired. However, there was a broad selection of playmats. If you've been looking for a place to play your new card game, or if you're just in MoVal Mall with some time to kill, do yourself a favor check out Haiku Pop!

I have even witnessed another family prior different day where they were told okay this time only. We stand out from the rest And get treated as so. Not okay Wife and husband seem kind but then theirs the bulldog. I just don't think it's fair that I can't make a separate purchase for a friend who has to work. I don't see this getting better because it's a choice for them to pick n choose who to treat kindly & sometimes being a regular is bad as well since I go in often. Now I feel anxious about this place. So sad

HOW RUDE!!! I had a…read morereally disappointing experience at this store today. I came in with a couple of friends my age because we were looking for a specific toy. From the moment we walked in, the employees were hovering over us and watching us in a way that felt extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. We were not being loud, disruptive, or disrespectful, we were simply browsing. As we were about to check out, one of the employees told us we were "free to leave," and verbatim, "we don't need your five bucks." The tone was rude, dismissive, and completely uncalled for. We had every intention of making a purchase, and there was no reason for us to be treated that way. Being watched so closely and then spoken to like that felt incredibly disrespectful. It also raised concerns for me about whether we were being treated differently because of how we looked. No customer should feel singled out or unwelcome when they walk into a store simply trying to buy something. Respect goes both ways. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, regardless of their age or appearance. I hope this is taken seriously so that no one else has to experience the same kind of treatment because it was absolutely disgusting.

Enough pouring my heart out--here you can find so many unique items that you simply don't see other places. They were one of the first stores to carry Jellycats, along with so many other wonderful things. It's a wonderful place to visit around Christmas because they have so many unique decorations and home items, along with thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for people. The store is beautiful. Lots of souvenirs and antiques that you can find. Theres probably something for everyone you want to gift -- theres greeting cards, tea sets, animal statues, rings and necklaces, soap bars and ones dispensers, and other trinkets Normally I dont post about my dislike of being obviously followed in a store, but now it's my turn. I technically shouldnt be salty since I had always been law-abiding, but today was a very surprising one! You can tell based on my pfp that I tend to dress nicely, almost old money or New Yorker style. I was the best dressed of my crew that day, and we were still followed -- and not even in a professional way lol, the person was not slick Cant tell if they were a lady or dude but it was almost certain that they were related to the old ladies working at the store. This person tailed my friends and I wherever we went, to the point of blatantly blocking the already narrow aisles and standing behind people with their arms crossed. I go to Ross Dress for Less a lot and am used to security, of course -- but blocking paths and colliding into people is where I draw the line. And where I start posting a review Come here for trinkets and stuff. But get ready to pay for slightly expensive goods -- it's to pay for the security kid who blocks your path
