Wanted to check this place out since they just recently opened. Definitley different from the bar I frequent at in Hillsboro. When you walk in it doesn't seem that big since you see just the bar. But if you walk towards the back, there are two pool tables and few more seating areas. They don't have a big kitchen so the food is mostly burgers and sandwiches. I had the BLT which was pretty good. Can't really mess up a BLT. What I like the most about this place is they heave drink specials everyday. The best one I think is on Fridays.. $4.00 Fireballs. Our bartender Amy was awesome! It was her first day so it was fun to tease her. But she was all smiles and did not mind. I will definitley be back. WOW! Just wow! I can't believe I even step foot into this HORRIBLE PLACE! I left a tip, not money a tip on yelp because they are RACIS* My friends all happen to be asian and the customers that were already seated glared at us as if we were fresh meat. I already felt out of place because I don't like country but the music isn't going to make me leave a place if it has a good vibe and whatnot. But wow I could feel their eyes piercing right through us! We were there only for a little but we were just so uncomfortable we couldn't stay another minute! As we were walking out a customer says byeee and another one says bye and then the blonde bartender said byeeee (as in bye bi*t**) not a nice bye! This place is also a hotspot for cops so you don't need to waste your time here if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time. Oh ya and it was also DEAD on a Saturday! Explains a lot! Byeeeee brickyard psh whatever EDIT - stared part of the r word because I can't believe some people are so butt hurt over MY experience that I had here! If you were there then you could tell me otherwise but the people taking the time to message me calling me a brat etc for saying what happened. We got the complete opposite if not worse! She also didn't check our ID! She had a chance to say something! If you like divey but not dingy, this is your place. Well-lit on the front side of the building, plenty of tv's to watch a game, pool table, gambling, they have it all. Prices are good, especially the HH food. Typical fried food options that you would expect to find at a bar, although my husband was really impressed with their chicken tenders. He swears they are hand breaded. We shared some mozz sticks and they were actually quite good. Our friends ordered the wings and asked for a side of veggies and they literally claimed they had none. How have I never reviewed the Brickyard??? I know my way around this place pretty damn well. The drinks are great, the food is good, the pool tables and patio are all good times. A few things set Brickyard Tavern apart though. Brickyard like a pro -- here's how: Munchers -- these are tator tots stuffed with cheese and green chiles. Get them, dip in ranch. Really, you're welcome. Sit at the long table that used to be a shuffleboard table from the Monty's days. It's the best people and TV-watching vantage point. Check the daily specials. Deals to be had! In particular, $2.50 mimosas on Saturdays. The carved wooden bar itself is cool. There are a lot of stories, especially from pre-Brickyard days regulars, about where it was made, how it got here, how many are like it and where they are. Everyone is sure they are right. Probably no one is. Sunday mornings, NFL season -- come in for breakfast. The breakfast menu is small, but good. Spanish coffee goes well with it. Except don't sit at the bar, 'cause that's where I want to sit. And finally -- best bartenders around, seriously. Treat them well! They will take good care of you. read more

Was excited to try the munchers, they were good however for $6.50 you only get about 10 tots. The secret sauce is mustard, which is the worst thing you can put on my burger so my bad for not asking first but wasn't pleased, mostly cause of the overcooked and thin frozen beef patty. My bf got the French dip and it was disgusting. Probably a cool place to go drinking, but not much for food. So drink til it tastes good. read more

Brickyard is better then the previous tenants of this location by a long shot. It's gone from a seedy tavern that has seen better days to a nice low down family friendly tavern with plenty of TVs to watch the game. Service was friendly and quick, and the hamburger fairly decent - on this side of town downright excellent actually. We went to this place for the first time and we had an awful experience. Each drink took an hour, and half the drinks were forgotten. The food didn't show up till hour and a half later, and another half hour for cold awful food. The bill still has not showed up, after asking twice and waiting an hour. Despite the fairly strong bro-y vibe here, Brickyard Tavern is a huge improvement over Monty's. Where did they hide the fruit flies? Surely one can't eradicate that level of infestation... This is more like a 3.5 and if I come here again, I may bump it up. I came here with the sweetheart on a whim. Located just off of Cedar Hills and Canyon Road, on a corner, parking is better on the side, that way you're not potentially backing into the busy Canyon Rd/TV Hwy traffic. This was the first time we were here since the name change. I've always liked the interior and how the bar is pretty much in the middle. The night we were here, there was a very loud female a table away. The place has a way of carrying sound and it wasn't full enough or bustling enough for this female to speak as loudly as she was. She was what made my experience less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, she wasn't belligerent enough to warrant getting the boot. Fortunately, she left before our food arrived so the dining experience wasn't stressful. I don't know how much squeals of excitement and "O-M-G!" I could stomach. The bartender was friendly. Service was prompt. The food menu was simple which works great for this place. It wasn't fancy. It's pretty simple bar fare. I ordered a chicken tender wrap and the sweetheart ordered chicken strips and fries. It was impressively tender and I really enjoyed the wrap. I tend to steer away from wraps because they're a little on the dry side for me but I enjoyed this. All in all, for a night time visit, it was pretty chill. read more

Okay..been here multiple times since my last review. This place has gone down hill very fast. Last Sunday we walked out because nobody would wait on us after 15 minutes of waiting. There seems to only be the Asian server here on Sunday's now and again today she has zero help. Today we waited 10 minutes and then had to go track down the server, who was also the bartender. Kind of a dive bar. I like it though, its close to home which is nice. They have lots of games like pool and darts. Most recently I saw giant jenga and connect four. The food is good. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because if you're not sitting on the side with the bar they sometimes forget to make their rounds to check on you. Also I LOVE playing darts and they have two boards but... they are total shit! Very worn out, so bad that the darts don't even stay in the board! Brickyard is a fun place to kick back with friends. Interestingly enough, this bar is owned by the same folks who own Front Row in Hillsboro. Their happy hour prices are pretty reasonable for drinks and food, and everything I've had has been good (except the fish and chips - a friend and I both ordered it on two different occasions - do not recommend!). It's clean and comfortable, parking is kinda weird, but there's plenty of spaces across the street. The staff are quick, friendly and fun. I like that they have two dart boards in the back by the pool table, and they have a cute patio area. Have been going to this bar for a number of months now and I almost consider myself a regular but not quite yet. The serve staff is awesome. Whether me or a coworker sit outside the whole time or inside they are always coming around asking if we need anything. The munchers are amazing and I always get a Chicken Quesadilla when I am there. Big fan. Dollar Jell-o shot special? Why not. A fun place to hang out or watch sports. Usually good, not great. Service is pretty good at least 3/4 of the time. Last time I came in the card reader was broken and/or confusing to management. The bartenders are very friendly and seem to care about customers, but some get swamped easier than others. The food is typical bar food, they have 12 beers on tap and the usual suspects in bottle form. Drinks are strong until you've had a few, then become watered down (should be expected in most places anyway). New bartender was followed around by manager (maybe because was new employee), but drinks were slower to get to customers due to chatting by the till. read more

First time here, stopped in early afternoon waiting for my car to get new tires. Was surprised how many people were here, there was one Asian girl working as the server and bar tender, she was busy but very nice and came by several times. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries with a microbrew. The beer was tasty and cold and the burger came really fast. Burger looked great with lettuce, tomato, pickles and their secret sauce and cooked just right. The fries were a different story, look like fresh cut but that is where the fresh ended. They were overlooked and soggy, didn't finish them. Overall a good experience, nothing really negative to say. read more

Most bartenders ask if you are 21 and if you say yes they know you are not an olcc undercover and sell you a drink because OLCC Undercover agents are not allowed to Lie to you. This Girl Lindsey after carding us and I told her I am well over 21 but just didn't want to drive all the way back to my house for my ID, MIND YOU MY FRIEND I AM WITH IS 57 YEARS OLD WITH ALL GREY HAIR AND A GREY BEARD. We told her ok they will serve us down at the broadway saloon so sorry for losing business but we will go there. This is the crazy part she gets off work from Brickyard Tavern follows me and my friend to the Broadway saloon and goes and whispers to the bartender pointing to us and says cut those two guys off. I am quietly minding my own business with my friend and the bartender comes up and says she can't serve us because Linsey the B%$^*ch pardon my french is on a mission to get us cut off. I'm sorry if you are on a power trip and want to get me cut off everywhere I go because I forgot my ID at home one night. I am a grown ass man born in 1984 and I have a lot of friends that all use to go to Brickyard with a big groups of people always tipped well. I asked all my friends to meet me there and would go there multiple times per week. The Brickyard is a middle of the road type place for my breed. Simple, but with an uplifting aroma of money. The place may be built for the blue collar warrior, but you tend to see the old collar warrior here. The supervisor of a construction crew, a plumber with his own family business, and maybe a vice principal if you get lucky. The younger guys tend to be conservative/cowboy types, and the bartenders tend to adore them. It's actually interesting seeing a bar dynamic represent something so opposite of the local socio realm. There's a big spacious smoking section in the back that was very well done, caddy corners within the setting, and even a legit dartboard. The owner hires hard working Hispanics for the hot and heavy work load, and only girls 8.9 or higher as bartenders. The formula works. Profit! read more

Only complaint was the bartender, she obviously thought she was the most important person in the place (maybe she owns it?
