I came here for the first time with a group of friends, mostly to participate in their karaoke. Also, I just came from an event that had food, but by the time I got in line for the food, there was hardly any left. So I arrived to the Sports Page a little on the hungry side. I got the hummus plate and diet coke. I don't drink much alcohol anymore. I never even thought to get a mocktail. We were telling a friend about mocktails, (she never heard that term before) ordered a mocktail, she let me take a sip, it was so good! Her husband got a shot of creme de cocoa, gave me a sip of that, and that was so good! I will have to explore my options the next time I come here! Karaoke was so fun! So many good singers! I sang one song. I even got a request to do a different song. I will have to practice a little before I attempt any other song! read more

I only came in for the karaoke. Plenty is seating but the parking lot was full so we had to park a little ways away. Our server was top notch and made sure we're well taken care of. The KJ was great. The bar itself had multiple screens and looks perfect for watching sports. They have a large variety of food and drink options and specials as well. Karaoke is Saturday night and Trivia is Wednesday night. They have pool tables too. Seems like a fun place. Will come back for more karaoke. read more

This sports bar has been here forever, I've gone for years and I hope it's here for a long long time. If I'm shopping at Washington Square Mall I would much rather come here for food and drinks than that overpriced cheesecake factory. It's just a couple blocks away from the mall and so convenient. Look at my picture of a burger and fries and a Jamison and Coke, all for just $16. In 2026 that is a crazy good value. They also have great karaoke and game events. They're in a funny little strip mall, you drive around the back to get to it so it's not very intuitive for where they're located, you kind of just have to know it's here. Solid sports bar. Huge food menu and the food is decent. We went in on a Saturday and only one bartender was working. She was freaking awesome. Kept everyone happy, fed and not thirsty until reinforcements showed up. I'm 3-starting it because as soon as you walk in it smells like pee. It's probably from the men's room that's right there but come on! There's cleaning solution for that. It doesn't seem like cleaning anything in there is on anyone's to do list. me and some friends went here cause they had the only open jukebox around and got denied $20 worth of songs by the bartenders and we didn't get any service for about 15 minutes so we ended up leaving to find a better bar. First time ever experiencing this. First of all, I'm a long time customer and friend of this bar. Tonight a friend of mine, and his son, came with me to see the place and have a beer. We met the DJ who was very cool. We had hardly anything to drink leading up to this encounter. The bar staff took it upon themselves to cut us off and not serve us as they continued to serve others that were visibly intoxicated. We were singled out for no reason that I can explain. When I asked them why and challenged them, the short bald headed bar tender flipped me off. This is a short message to management.... From where I am sitting this is borderline discriminatory behavior. Again, I have never seen this behavior at this place before. I hope it gets resolved quickly as I have always enjoyed patronizing this establishment in the past. read more

I have been going here since I turned 21. So for ten years. My food is always good, my service is always great and the drinks are always strong. They are usually packed for sporting events as they are a sports bar so plan accordingly. They have gone through lots of KJ's but the most recent ones are good! read more

I have tried so hard to make this place work as it's conveniently located for me. If you read the most recent reviews they are right on, the service has gotten atrocious. I use a time measurement for bars, how long from sitting down to a drink in your hand. SP has averaged over 8 minutes the last 3 times i have gone. In addition, the servers act as if you don't matter, so strange since last time i was in there was 5 people total in the bar. Is it possible everyone figured this out but me and don't go anymore? My favorite quote after I asked what beer was next to the fresh squeezed as I hadn't seen that logo before. Answer: "I have no idea let me go look." THEY HAVE 8 beers on tap. O my goodness, maybe that's to much to memorize. It's just a lack of caring to be working there. I wonder how the owner treats his employees? I'm done and you should stay away! read more

Not sure what's going on here but recently service has really got bad. Not bad as unfriendly or anything but SLOW AS HELL!! Everyone does look fairly new but very green as well. A bartender that can't serve more than 1 customer at a time, servers that pay absolutely no attention to anyone playing poker machines !! I get it I see a lot of tweekers playing there almost every time I go but I'm not a tweeker I'd like a beer, I'd like someone to cash a ticket if they have time. Anyway not pleased this place used to be a go to and as I said they could just be new or under staffed but definitely they need help!!! This is a nice little neighborhood sports bar. The sign has a pirate on it, and so does the door, but that's pretty much the extent of the pirate theme in the place. There is KENO, video poker, a pool table, and some video games. There is also a large number of televisions playing sports games (appropriate, per the name of the place. A lot of tables and chairs are available, as well as a small traditional "bar". I also saw an outdoor area. We ordered the nachos, which were gigantic, along with a happy hour buffalo tots. Both were pretty good. I was also impressed by how extensive their menu was. Our waitress was friendly, and she was great about water refills. It looks like they have a number of nightly events including trivia on Mondays, and Karaoke on Saturdays. I would definitely come back here to watch a game. read more

Pretty solid little hole-in-the-wall bar with lots going on, plus they're open late! There's weekly activities here (Monday night is trivia night), plus there's some slot machines and pool tables. This was a very spacious dive bar hidden behind some other establishments, so you might drive past it once or twice before finding it. The food was decent, and I'd definitely return for it. We did get a lot - so here's my summary! Chicken wings were pretty small, but really good. Get the chili. The chili was absolutely phenomenal, and you can tell if a place is good by their chili. I'm a huge macaroni and cheese girl, and their mac was pretty subpar - tasted like Kraft, but get it with sausage. The sausage makes it. The Philly cheese steak was pretty good, according to my father. I wasn't so much of a fan of the pizza, but that's just me. The Mai Tais were STRONG! Highly recommended if you're getting your buzz on. All in all, this was a pretty cool place that we'll return to. read more

Let me start off by saying this review is a little old. I went there the night of the UFC fight between a guy who kicked the crap out of another guy who didn't even try. I don't know their names, but I know a beat down when I see one. The bar itself is pretty cool. There are televisions everywhere. Seriously. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend peed himself with excitement and contemplated breaking up with me to date this place the moment we walked in. Guys + big tv's = lovefest. The beer is also good here. Pretty good selection for a tucked away bar, and they don't skimp on teh servings. I literally had beer falling out of my glass which is NEVER a bad thing. The waitresses here, while somewhat aloof, are really good. I suppose if I was getting screamed at all night by testosterone-filled dorks trying to relive their frat days, I'd build up that shell too. They do a good job at keeping on top of things, so I have no complaints in the customer service department. The only reason I took off two points is that the patrons seem... questionable. The night we were there they had to evict a guy who looked like Doogey Howser if he had been dressed by a Banana Republic addict. I don't like people who cause a scene, but I especially don't like people who cause a scene by shouting things like "do you know who I am?" and "you can't throw me out. I'm wearing shoes you couldn't even afford." I think he he missed the memo that Mandals (man sandals) went out of style before they were ever invented. I tried going back a second time, but when we arrived, there were two guys wrestling each other in the parking lot. I see a pattern being established here.... Im not much for the bar scene anymore. I'm not single so I don't have a reason to go. I cam here because one of my friends was having a get together because she got a new job. Pretty much half the people in the bar were people I knew so it was fun. The pool table is in a super bad location. There isn't enough room to really play. But if you are not a serious player then it will make do. The song singing is much like any other place that does karaoke. Too many people that think they can sing but can't. I had a sandwich form here which was pretty tasty. I doubt I'll be back because it just isn't my scene. But for those that are into that kind of thing, it isn't half bad. read more

I wonder what it is about me that will like a bar merely for the fact that it has karaoke. Because I think without it, this place would have been pretty blah. I stopped here with a friend after work and found it pretty run of the mill. It had a billion televisions, a kinda lame beer selection and kinda icky bathrooms (yes, I judge a place based on their bathrooms and so should you. If the bathroom is gross, what does the kitchen or the back of the bar look like???). My Blue Moon beer looked really weird. Grainy, and almost fiber-infused and not normal. I don't know what was up with that. Overall, I suppose if you live close and just need to find a place to go and get schnockered, well, this might work just fine for that. For any other reason though, I'd find another place. Wow, the 2 - 3 Star Yelp reviews for this place are totally dead-on. This is a fun little local spot that serves cold beer, has a handful of sports screens, and does decent appetizers. Drink here (if you are dive-bar mode,); eat snacks here (the jerk chicken wings are surprisingly good,); but don't eat here... Food is definitely two star. You'll survive, but the stuff is pretty marginal. Buddy had a hamburger that was "meh." I had a sort-of French Dip that was extremely weak -- think frozen ingredients tossed on the flat top and you'll have a good picture of what to expect. On the plus side, there are lots of sports screens, a pool table, and the beer selection is decent. On the minus side, the servers are dismissive and apathetic. When I go to a dive bar, I'm looking for a, "Hi welcome to the dive bar. Everybody is welcome here. What can I get for you tonight?" and not, "Whattayou want?" So a playoff football game, a Blazers game, and a UFC Title Fight are supposed to be on Sat. night at 7pm and what do they have on television? A sports talk show, blank screens, motocross on multiple screens, and 4 out of 5 screens in a row with the football game on. No UFC. No BLAZERS. What kind of sports bar is that? I think they realized that, but they had a waitress that didn't know how to change the channels running around pushing buttons, and when she did change the channel, she changed channels people WERE watching and they had to request them to be changed back. The bartender seemed upset when I suggested that the Blazers game could be shown or anything be put on the screen in lieu of the talkshow. He then copped an attitude when I ordered a drink from him though we were sitting at a table - only because he had the waitress, who didn't know what she was doing, trying to change channels instead of providing service. The waitress did come and explain the Blazers weren't on because of a problem with Comcast, but that doesn't explain the talkshow and multiple blank screens, which were inexplicable by her. I felt sorry for her because she had no help from coworkers or the bartender/mgmt. We had to leave and watch the game elsewhere. Two stars are only because of 1 previous visit for Sunday football with positive, average experience. MAIN PROBLEMS: -Attitude of bartender -Poor management of a sports bar with 15-20 televisions on a Saturday night. - The Blazers game problem should have been identified and resolved before the game started. read more

Topic of discussion overheard at the Sports Page: Dogs having sex. I'm so glad I was there with my parents. My mom is great at pretending she didn't hear anything so I didn't have to be too embarrassed. If I was with my friends that normally talk about things of that nature, we would've fit right in. We usually chat about Bigfoot's chode, or mooseknuckles or what would win in a fight, a kangaroo with a strap-on sword or a bear. So it's a pirate themed sports bar. It doesn't have to make sense. Karaoke 3+ times a week with DJ Seamus, who kills it. Super awesome dude. Personable, sweet dredlocks, fantastic taste in music, and not a bad voice either. I go just for him, sometimes. Food is averagely priced, but good. So worth it. We have come to this place so many times because it's close to home. We showed up tonight and we were ignored for 20 minutes. 10 tables, 5 waitresses. What in the serious fuck? I have worked as a waitress. Any good waitress could have handled all of those tables solo. This was the last time we will ever step foot in this place again. Nothing like a waitress walking by your table 3x without so much as an acknowledgment. Update! We stepped foot in this place again. It took the waitress only 5-10 minutes to ask what we'd like. I came here last week for lunch and had a good experience. This is the ideal place to be during the football season, or the upcoming NCAA basketball tournament. This place has flat screen tv's everywhere! Flat screens + college basketball +food/beer = heaven! The food wasn't too bad, typical bar food, and the servers were pretty nice and friendly. Their menu offer a lot of choices (breakfast food, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, gyros, etc) and they have a lot of specials thru out the week. I ordered the buffalo chicken sliders with chips. The sliders were good, the chips were not so good. They were actually really hard to eat! Maybe it was just the batch of chips that I got. I will definitely stop by when I want to watch some sports and have a good time. read more
