Large selection of wedding dresses, helpful staff that never made us feel rushed. All the staff were great

ATTENTION BRIDES: Stay away. I need to share my experience with you so you understand who you are dealing with. Please take the time to read this review. I purchased my wedding gown off the rack from Bridal Debut in Jan 2023, and I was initially in complete awe of it. I loved my dress and I was aware that it would require alterations to make the perfect fit. I trusted Bridal Debut to handle this aspect of my wedding preparations so here are the problems I've encountered. 1 Unwelcoming seamstress- The experience with the seamstress left much to be desired. she appeared cold, off-putting and completely unenthusiastic about altering my dress. Her attitude did not contribute to a positive experience. 2.) Inadequate alterations- Despite the significant cost of 650 for the alterations the results were far from satisfactory. Dress did not sit properly, the straps hung off my shoulders, and the fabric was super tight on one side that it was scratching my inner armpit causing red irritation. And my breast pads were above where my breasts should be. 3.) Lack of accountability- When I reached out to Bridal Debut to express my concerns once bringing my dress home and to finally show my mother and sister in law, I was met with a lack of understanding and accountability for the issues that had arisen. the owner, Heather, seemed unhelpful and unwilling to address the problems.It unfourtante when business prioritize profits over the meaningful experiences of their customers, especially when it is such a important moment for any Bride. The essence of a bridal boutique lies not only in the products and service it provides but it also in the experience it offers bride to be's. 4.) Additional Costs- It is super disheartening to hear that in order to fix the dress, I would be required to incur further expenses! After having already paid a SUBSTANTIAL amount for alterations and dress, being asked to pay more for proper fit is unacceptable. It's unfortunate when business prioritize profits over the meaningful experiences of their customers, especially when it is such an important moment for any Bride. I'm now faced with and incredibility distressing situation just 2 weeks before my wedding. To be informed that I must pay more money to rectify the mistakes made by Bridal Debut, when I already entrusted the boutique with 2,000.00 is both financially and emotionally distressing. my mothers efforts to find a more afforadable solution( like a refund) were met with a resounding " No" So this situation has now forced me into purchasing another wedding gown from another boutique, incurring additional expenses of 1400.00 The financial burden and emotional toll has taken are immeasurable. So thank you Bridal Debut, I don't want an apology at this point. I want my money. read more

I had a great appointment at bridal debut! My consultant was Shelley, and she guided me through my very first wedding dress shopping experience. I told her what I was leaning towards, in terms of dresses, but I also told her that I wanted to try on all the silhouettes, just to see. She didn't limit the amount of dresses I tried on, and encouraged me as I learned what I liked. She did a great job explaining all of our options, like holding another color underneath so we could see what it would look like with a blush undertone. This is a fantastic store with some fantastic dresses!! read more

Amazing place! Our bridal party had run into a disaster experience at another local bridal store, and were very worried about giving dress shopping another go. However we could not have had a better experience than Bridal Debut. Our consultant (I think her name is Connie) was amazing and made our bride feel so special while also giving very helpful tips and hints to make her decision as easy as possible! The dresses are stunning (like the kind you see in Hollywood) and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

Went in there 3 years ago to buy my grad dress. Selection is absolutely amazing to choose from. Such an amazing store to have Sherwood park. I went here to get a bridesmaids dress for a friends wedding recently; absolutely will not be purchasing my dress from here. Firstly 95% of the sample sizes were under a size 12 (which is like a 10 in actual sizes); so they only actually had one bridesmaid dress in my size. On top of that the sales women literally went out of her way to make the shopping experience bad for me; she kept going on and on about how this dress wouldn't work for me or this one would because it hides a "tummy"..excuse me who are you to tell me what part of my body I should be hiding? She was down right rude and insulting; particularly because she kept making these comments throughout the whole appointment. On top of all that the dresses were very, very over priced. I have the details of the bridesmaid dress and I will be taking that info to another store. read more

I wish I could give this store 3.5 stars. I went to Bridal Debut with high expectations after a rave review from a close friend and also after seeing their dresses in a fashion show at Bridal Fantasy. The store didn't meet my expectations, and I think I would be inclined to give it a more positive review if I hadn't gone into it with any preconceptions. First off, the store is quite large, but I wasn't wowed by their selection of dresses. I was disappointed when I walked through the store with my mom and bridesmaid and only found two dresses that I was interested in. Again, this is reflective of my personal tastes, and there were many beautiful dresses available to try on. My biggest complaint with the store is the dressing rooms and changing area. I've been to three other salons as a bride, and all had private change rooms with large mirrors and a platform, as well as a couch for guests to sit on. The changing room I was assigned to was so small I could barely fit in it with a ballgown, and I was given only one chair for my two guests. My poor bridesmaid had to stand for the entire appointment. I also had to share the pedestal and mirrors with another bride, and I could see all the other brides trying on dresses as well in other sections of the store. It's hard to enjoy the experience when there are people waiting for their turn at your mirror and other people in the store watching you try on dresses. The decor also felt dated, with older carpet and purple and green flowered chairs. I asked to try on a dress that had been on display at Bridal Fantasy and my consultant did not know what I was talking about. She finally found it and I was able to try it on, but only had one beaded belt for me to try on with the dress. I enjoyed talking with my consultant, but when my appointment was approaching one hour, she started telling me my time was up, despite being told on the phone that I had booked a 90 minute appointment slot. I was also not asked what my budget was for a dress, which didn't turn out to be a problem, as the dresses here are very reasonably priced, but I was surprised that this wasn't considered when my consultant was pulling dresses for me. My experience at Bridal Debut wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I think this store is a good stop in the Edmonton area for brides-to-be, but I the layout of the changing areas didn't feel on-par with spending $1000+ on a wedding dress. read more

I just had yet another good experience with Bridal Debut this weekend. I went with a friend and two other girls to help her find a wedding dress. I had previously been to Bridal Debut way back in 2006/07 to find and purchase my own wedding dress, and again last summer as part of a wedding party. My friend (the bride) tried on dresses, and us girls ended up buying our bridesmaid dresses here. All of my experiences with Bridal Debut have been positive. The store is big, well organized and clean. Good selection of wedding dresses, with brands like Maggie Sottero (my dress :) ), Alfred Sung, Sottero and Midgley, Allure and more. The selection of bridesmaids dresses is alright. I have seen more variety at another store, but Bridal Debut's selection is probably pretty average. There is an off the rack section, which is gowns that you can buy and take home that day, that are not available to be ordered. Some big discounts can be found there. There is also a selection of shoes, veils, jewellery and other accessories. The staff are what really set this place apart for me, specifically the consultants. I've been to several other bridal shops, and the ladies at Bridal Debut have been the best in all of my experiences as far as personality and positive attitudes. We dealt with Rebecca this past weekend, and she was very upbeat, joking around with us and chatting, and also very enthusiastic about pulling different styles of dress for my friend. I've been to other bridal stores where the consultants seem like they are in a rush, or annoyed that we may want to try more dresses or re-try ones to get a second look. I have never encountered anyone like that here. Appointments are essential on Saturdays, and probably also on the weeknights they are open late. You might have better luck with walk-ins on weekdays, but I have no experience with that. The appointments here are an hour and a half, so you have lots of time to try on different things without feeling rushed. Highly recommended. read more

This is definitely one of the better bridal stores I've been to. They have a very large selection of dresses in a variety of styles, and the service there was fantastic- I think the lady who helped me there was easily one of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever been helped by in any store! She really went out of her way to make suggestions to help me get what I want in my wedding dress. I'd say going here was definitely worth the drive out of town :) read more

Great looking and spacious building. The consultant, Dori was great. She gave us a tour and helped point us in the right direction. She paired my favourite dress with the perfect bridal belt. She was helpful in showing possible alterations and even cracked a few jokes during the appointment. The manager gave us a better deal than what was on the tag. I went back the same day after attending another dress appointment elsewhere (which had horrific service) and i purchased the dress. The store the dress until alterations 8-10 weeks before the wedding date. Great overall impression! read more

I just bought my wedding dress from here and I can honestly say it was the most flawless experience! I worked with a few of the employees here (Trish, Pauline and Pam) all of them were just amazing. They were all very helpful with finding the style I like and were very honest with what looked good and what wasn't the best option for me. All of my appointments ran so smoothly. Planning and getting ready for a wedding can be stressful so it was so nice to have the stress of dress shopping alleviated. Lots of brides come through this shop but the staff there make every contact so personable. I would highly recommend this shop to any bride to be. I dont know the name of the lady I spoke to but I can tell you I would never buy from this place simply because of the way she handled my call! I called ahead to make sure they had underskirts/hoop skirts in my size (26-28) all she told me was that they have one size and I need to come in and try it on....I said to her that a one size for all doesn't really cut it for plus size girls and that I needed to know your sizing better before I made the trip in as my time right know is extremely tight as I'm 6 weeks before my wedding...she kept getting frustrated(as was i) and telling me that I need to come in! I'm disappointed to see all the bad reviews! Out of the three bridal shops I went to in Edmonton, this one was my favourite. The staff was so lovely and helpful, they greeted us with smiles and helped us right away! I walked in without an appointment, it was the very first time trying on wedding dresses ever and it was a wonderful experience. The selection was pretty good and the place was clean. This was an absolute disappointment. I had an appointment booked for my 5 bridesmaids to pick out dresses. When I spoke to the store I told them that I needed a different style for each of my girls. They said "no problem"! They confirmed a day before for the appointment which I thought was nice... UNTIL we showed up to the store and were shown a rack of 8 dresses. This was all they had, they had stopped carrying in a specific designer and they only had the 8 bridesmaid dresses in store.. oh and those dresses were size 0-4. So even if we wanted to, we couldn't have tried on the dresses. I was baffled that the store didn't warn me of their pint sized selection. I was also baffled that when the consultant told me that they changed their website to reflect what they carry in store. LIES. I will NEVER use this store and I sure as hell WONT BE RECOMMENDING THEM TO ANYONE. How disappointing. read more

Well, I don't understand any of the negative reviews! My daughters and I (yes, daughters) had wonderful experiences and both of my girls purchased their dresses there with Pam as an awesome sales associate. My girls were being married 3 months apart and I have nothing but great service, patience, beautiful (stunning) gowns, and wonderful follow up. My daughter ordered special lace and had a few other special requirements. Also, we received a discount on the gowns although the discount time was technically over. We had to juggle COVID-19 also as my daughter was supposed to be married in April. Yes, we booked ahead and made a special trip to Edmonton each time during the week to avoid the busy weekends. Out of all the wedding dress places I went to to find a dress this one was the cleanest and most comfortable. The salesperson who helped us gave great advice and did not select only expensive dresses for me to try. And we were not rushed at all. This store has great selection and was having a great sale to clear out older stock. I got my dress for a really good price. As well, their dresses were all spotless, even all the sale dresses. The lady there said they clean and repair them on a regular basis. This was quite a change from some other places I visited with gray or yellow areas or stains and beading that was coming off. Every dress there was perfect. This is significant if one wants to buy off the rack like I did. As well, with the purchase comes a cleaning and pressing. They'll store the dress for you too. I inquired about prices for alterations and it's on par with other places that specialize in wedding dresses. However, they charge a set quoted price for the service itself and not per fitting like some other places. For example, some places charge for every fitting so after the dress comes back if it doesn't fit you pay again and it is several hundred usually for fittings. Bridal Debut gives the price in advance and it is what they say it will be. read more

When I was getting married I went to two other Bridal Boutiques before coming to Bridal Debut. What the other places lacked from Bridal Debut was customer service. I felt very rushed at the other places I had gone to. At Bridal Debut my consultant did not once make me feel rushed or pressured into buying a certain dress. She allowed me to try on multiple dresses in multiple styles and also gave me her honest opinions on what looked good and what did not. In the end with her help I was able to find the most Ah-Maz-ZIng dress for me and at a great price too. I would recommend this bridal salon to anyone who is looking for their wedding dress! read more

I should preface this by saying my experience wasn't bad per se, just meh. After having appointments at Delica, Novelle, and Pure Bridal, I wanted to round out my search and ensure I wasn't missing anything. Walking into Bridal Debut, it immediately felt less upscale than the other boutiques with outdated decor, extremely tiny change rooms and shared pedestal/mirror area with no seating. This was the first appointment I went to alone and I'm glad I did because no one would have been able to sit down! I was however, able to walk in to a quiet shop and have a full hour long appointment. I was greeted almost immediately and the consultant was very friendly. I tried on a couple of gowns that somewhat matched what I was looking for. I wasn't really given the chance to look around myself and felt like I was part of a Maggie Sottero sales pitch. This, along with the lack of privacy, kind of cheapened the whole experience for me. The gowns here are great for a bride sticking to a tighter budget, but I felt that the dresses they carried lacked the same quality of fabrics and intricate detail that I tried within my budget at other salons. read more

I checked out Bridal Debut on my "gown tour" with my mom and grandmother. We were able to make an appointment easily and were excited to walk in and see a LOT of dresses. I enjoyed my experience at the store, but I didn't find anything I liked. A lot of the dresses were fuller than I was looking for with lots of bling! I know this is what a lot of girls are looking for, so this is a great place to check out. They are also the only store I came across in Edmonton that had the Royal Wedding replica dress. I tried it on and it was gorgeous, but just not for me. The customer service was attentive and friendly. They had a large selection of off the rack dresses as well as made to order. Shoes, bridemaid dresses and LOTS of accessories live here as well. Check it out if you are in the area! read more

Very disappointed in the service provided. On my initial appointment, I had a lovely consultant and found THE dress, I went in a second time and also had a lovely consultant.. She measured me and told me I was in-between 2 sizes and I could choose which size to order, of course I said the smaller one.... Maybe it's my fault, I didn't ask which sizes I was between. Though talking to other brides, the consultants at their stores discussed the size chart, showed the brides where their measurements fell... Seeing as I've never ordered a wedding dress before I didn't question her. When my dress came in, it was much too big, needing to be taken in 5+ inches in bust, 2-4 inches in the waist and 1-2 inches in the hips. I was quoted 1235 for alterations. Which seemed outrageous! So I took my dress home after paying for it (not without getting sass from the consultant-"I'll have to re-bag it, then you'll have to bring it back for alterations") I saw 3 seamstresses for a quote and got the same comment... Why did you buy a dress so big? I contacted the manager (can't remember her name) and brought my dress in. She remeasured and yes I lost inches (1.5" to be exact 1" in bust, .5" in waist) manager confirmed that I was in between sizes... 2 for bust, 4for waist and 6for hips, she showed me the chart as requested... Seeing this I would definitely have ordered a 4. She brought in the seamstress and have me a new quote for $735. Though all the while maintaining that she would have recommended the 6, but also confirming I'd need 2" taken in off the hips. She also stated alterations 1"+ would be a size. This tells me I should order a 4 to have a better fitting dress with out needing so many alterations. They estimate 4-600 fit alterations, but perhaps they recommend a dress size to ensure you'd have to pay at least that much for alterations!! Shop around ladies... I was quoted 300, 455, 375 from independent seamstresses. read more

I had a great experience with Bridal Debut! The consultants were fantastic, always very helpful, and in general just fantastic people. I went to both the Sherwood park and the south Edmonton location, and definitely preferred the Sherwood Park location. I found a beautiful dress, a belt that suited it perfectly, and had my alterations done there as well. Over the last few months I've had to go in several times for fittings and alterations appointments and every single one of them was a great appointment, I have no complaints. I also purchased my jewelry there, which was quite expensive but very well made and very high quality. The only flaw with the store is the changing area, the change rooms are relatively small and the space where the mirrors and raised platforms are is completely shared. It can be a bit uncomfortable trying on dresses when other brides are there as well with friends and family and taking pictures. I have to admit, I have a few pictures with strangers in the background. If you don't mind having a few extra eyes on you then this store is for you, if you are looking for a more private experience call and ask to come in at a quiet time of day. Overall I am so pleased with the experience I had at Bridal Debut, and will recommend them to everyone I know! read more

I did go back to buy my dress and though I dealt with a different person the experience was just as great. We had a really fun experience, and even though we knew we were going to purchase, they were happy to let us try more dresses for fun, just to be sure. They were professional but good humoured, and I got a cute little cup declaring me a "bridal debut" bride! This was the first bridal shop I went to, and I had no clue what I wanted. I was all over the place debating between satin and lace, ballgown for something more fitted. Yean, my consultant, was extremely patient with me and very helpful in pulling styles I wouldn't even have thought of. I ended up spending 3 hours there and didn't feel rushed at all. Didn't get my dress here but they had one that was a close runner-up. Definitely would recommend for the service and quality of dresses! read more

I would travel across the country for Bridal Debut...o wait I did! AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN! Originally living in Yellowknife, I travelled to Bridal Debut to look for a dress. It was clean, well organized, I had the opportunity to look around and pick some dresses I liked that didn't take out of my appointment time and the staff was extremly friendly! Trying on dresses was great, as with other girls in a close area you have the chance to see what something you may never have thought of would look like and even potentially try on their dress when they are done. I really liked 2 dresses and this was the only store to tell me to hop off the platform and stand on my tippy toes. One of the dresses I liked, I would have lost almost the whole skirt as it didn't start until my knees. I couldn't imagine what I would have done if I bought that dress! My consultant was amazing she gave me a unique idea for some beadwork that just put my dress over the top. I took my measurements, but still had some other stores to go to with appointments booked. I found it at another store and they were more expensive and said the beadwork wasn't possible. Needless to say I called Bridal Debut and put down the deposit over the phone when I got back to Yellowknife! My Mom wanted me to order it from a store in Ottawa where I was getting married, but I got such a good feeling with Bridal Debut, I didn't and am sure glad I did not! The dress did not take long at all to come in. It was less than 6 weeks. The staff was incredible knowing I wanted beadwork they were texting me various beading samples they had held up against my dress. Ultimately I decided I wanted to buy it in person. So they told me they just bought more at a show in Texas and gave me the arrival date so I could book my alterations after that date. They were great with accomodating my fly through schedule for alterations. They called when my accessories arrived and put them aside with my dress. They even told me that December usually has 20% off accessories and I could wait and call in and buy them then if I wanted to. The seamstress was amazing. So nice and what an incredible job she did! All of my experiences with bridal debut were so OVER AND ABOVE any experience I have ever had with retail or customer service. They truly are there to make things as EASY for you as possible! I didn't have anyone with me for my fittings so they sent instructions on how to bustle my dress so my bridal party won't have any problems! Dresses are an amazing quality, and and an amazing price compared to my other experiences. I would and have recommend Bridal Debut to everyone that I know. It doesn't matter where you live, it is definately worth it.! After being in other bridal stores with my Mom looking to get her dress, I realize how lucky I am to have found Bridal Debut!!! Bridal debut was a great store and highly recommended. We accidentally showed up early for my appointment but they accommodated us very well by letting us use the time to browse and select dresses. My consultant was Dori and she was fantastic. I loved the selection of dresses and they were all very reasonably priced. They carry a lot of Maggie Sottero which is my favourite brand - so it was great to finally try on some of her dresses. This was my 4th out of 4 appointments (I am from out of town so I had all 4 appointments in one weekend) I fell in love with two dresses at this store and it was a hard choice between the two. Dori helped me as much as she could and put me back in both dresses to help me decide. Myself, my mom and my bridesmaid left to get lunch and debate between the to, and I came back and made my purchase. It was an overall great experience (the best dress selection of all salons I've been to) The ONLY downfall to this salon is that you have a smaller change room than all other salons I've been to and you are in a common area instead of a private room. Therefore you are sharing the pedestals and mirrors with other brides. I was unfortunately sharing the area with a much pickier bride who spent her time on the pedestal - even when my bridesmaid made comments outloud about me waiting to see my dress on the pedestal before I switched out of my dress she continued to stay up there. I am a short bride and was trying on mermaid style dresses on a pedestal was necessary. My consultant ended up getting me a footstool to standup on and use a changing room mirror. Also there are only a few chairs for people to sit on so if you bring a large crowd they should expect to stand and it kind of over crowds the area. Overall though fantastic experience and I am extremely happy with my dress choice!! read more

I'm really baffled by all these 5-star reviews. There were a couple of good aspects to my experience at Bridal Debut but I was completely put off by a number of things that happened there. Pros (would have been a 1-star rating without these): - pretty decent selection - large fitting rooms, lots of mirrors and good lighting - very nice jewelry & veil selection - I told the consultant I had fallen in love with another dress that was discontinued and she did show me a sample that was similar (unfortunately it was also discontinued, so I would have had to buy it off-the-rack and it was about 3 inches too short) Cons: - the dresses are DIRTY. Often they are torn as well. I get that a sample may be tried on by dozens and dozens of brides but when I am standing in a torn, dirty, wrinkled dress I don't feel pretty no matter what it looks like - aside from the off-the-rack dress she found for me, the consultant did NOT listen to what I told her I wanted. The two things I was adamant about not having on the dress were appliques and flowers, so what dress does she suggest I try on? One that is covered in flower appliques. She pretty much lost any chance of making a sale right then and there, it's not hard to remember when a customer tells you there are only TWO things she doesn't like! - when you walk in at first, they give you a few tags to put on dresses you want to try on. I think she only gave me three tags, and considering I was in a party of four including myself that meant that not even every person there got to choose a dress for me to try! - they are UNORGANIZED. When I walked in they seemed surprised to see me despite having an appointment booked for weeks. I had booked a bridesmaid consultation immediately after my bridal appointment. When the bridal appointment was done, the consultant started trying to rush me out the door and again, seemed totally surprised when I told her that we had an hour-long bridesmaid appointment booked right then. - there was another bridesmaid consultation going on while my bridesmaids were trying on dresses, and not only did they not have enough fitting rooms available, but the other consultant had put an accessory for the other appointment into my bridesmaids' fitting room, and actually asked them to pass it to her WHILE one of them was changing. Like the other customer couldn't wait 2 minutes so my bridesmaid didn't have to open the curtain half-dressed to fix the consultant's mistake. That seemed very unprofessional to me. - the PRICES. THey are so expensive! I tried on one dress that I later priced at another store for $500 less. Another one I priced for $700 less. For a salon that does not carry high-end brands and is not a particularly fancy or well-run place I don't understand how they can jack up the prices that much. Also I told the consultant at the beginning what my budget was and that it was FIRM. She brought me 3 dresses that were over my budget even after I told her each time that I would not go a penny over my budget. - the sizing. They have a pretty good range of sizes for the wedding dresses, but every dress my bridesmaids tried on was multiple sizes too large. My bridesmaids are both between size 6 and 8 and I think the smallest dress they tried on was a 14. THey did provide us with clips, but it's impossible to fully "get" the look of a dress when there's more of it cinched back than actually on the person wearing it. - I ended up liking a couple of the samples my bridesmaids tried on, but the store didn't have any swatches of the other colours the dresses came in! That doesn't make any sense to me at all, I'm not going to pick a dress based on what it looks like on a computer screen. Plus every dress designers' website says not to order a dress until you have seen a swatch of the colour you want in person. Do they honestly expect people to order a dress without seeing a colour swatch beforehand? SUMMARY: Don't go here. Based on all of the bad customer service/business practices I experienced I have no idea how they are still in business. Even if you live in the country and Sherwood Park is the closest to you, drive the extra 20-30 minutes into Edmonton where you will have more choice, better prices and better service at a lot of the salons. I ended up getting my dress at Pure Bridal and couldn't be happier with my experience there. - read more

After a horrific experience at another bridal salon Bridal Debut was a breath of fresh air. After showing Janice a couple of styles I liked, she was very helpful in pulling other dresses that would appeal to me. She was very helpful. They had a large area for my mom and bridal party to sit and see me try on dresses, and they turned the dress experience from a negative to a positive. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. read more

My two friends and I went along with a bride-to-be and had a fabulous experience!! The bride was very anxious walking in as she had some previous negative experiences at other shops due to dresses not fitting and pushy sale ladies. This was NOT the case here!! We had a fabulous sales associate by the name of Kristin (I think) and she was great! So welcoming, patient, and really listened to the wants, concerns, and needs of the bride! Our friend was thrilled! She finally came out of her shell and started loosening up and having fun :) Kristen allowed us to pull up chairs around the fitting room so we could watch in comfort, offered us water, and allowed us to take photos (which a lot of businesses do not). In the end she found her dream dress, and we all walked out so impressed!! Go here and skip the prissy little shops! Oh ya and go in the morning during a weekday....usually pretty empty place and no need for waiting etc. :D read more

Huge, HUGE rave to Bridal Debut in Sherwood Park. After finding a dress I loved there last weekend, I decided to still shop around and go to my other appointments. Beverley, one of the consultants at Bridal Debut agreed to squeeze me in at 9am, an hour before opening, just to try the dress on one last time before the big purchase. I'm so thankful for the accommodation, the helpful advice and expertise of the women there. So a huge thank you! I said YES to the dress. read more

Went as part of a bridal party to select bridesmaid dresses. Appointment was booked by the bride months in advance so we could all line up our very busy schedules. We arrive early and the main room is so packed you can't move. Hardly any space for the number of appointments they had booked. Not intimate or enjoyable at all, right off the bat. Then we are brought to a DISMAL selection of bridesmaid dresses (only one size in each dress style, most on the xs to small size). You could see the brides face fall, and the bridesmaids all look at each other like how the hell are we supposed to pick a dress from this. The consultant was very brusque saying that we could just order online. The whole point of setting up an appointment and coordinating the dress try on was to actually try on dresses and see how they fit us. It was a complete disappointment!! We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. There was no apology or explanation offered... I would NEVER recommend this place. It was packed, rushed feeling and the consultant was rude. Our consultant was not interested in helping us at all, her sole job was to lace me into dresses, thats all. Was super dissappointed.

If you go here (and you should) you MUST see Janice. She is amazing. There are no other words to describe her. She has worked there for 13 years i believe she said and is just fantastic. This was the second place we went for my friends wedding dress and the experience was perfect. Our first store was David's Bridal and as per my review, was AWFUL. But to be honest, it worked out fantastically going there first and then coming to Bridal Debut because the experiences were night and day. First off, the quality of dresses at this place compared to David's isn't even a conversation worth having. If you're looking for a cheap discount dress then David's is your store. If money isn't necessarily a problem, then Bridal Debut is your place. And that's not to say they are expensive because they are very decently priced actually. Just MUCH better quality both in the dresses and help. All said and done we found her dress here and it was an incredible experience. Tears all around! Not only did we find her dress, we found her veil, and a few other accessories as well. The thing i liked about Bridal Debut as well, is our consultant (Janice) stayed with us the entire time, answering any and all questions, providing opinions and just generally helping us. At David's Bridal, our "consultant" couldn't have been more useless. Disappearing constantly and providing 0 help ( Can you tell how awful that experience was now? ) This place was just a breeze for us, we had an appointment booked right after here at the Bridal House but cancelled after we came here. I went in to Bridal Debut last week and found my veil! Although I did not purchase my dress from Bridal Debut so cannot comment on that aspect, Pam was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me find a gorgeous white fingertip length veil. Luckily for me they were having a sale on their accessories and she also patiently helped me pick out some ear rings for my big day. read more

Amazing amazing service! Beautiful dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Honestly it was the only place that had brides maid dresses that didn't look like a prom dress.. The consultants were extremely helpful, gave their all, were fun, and helped you in the change rooms. I recommend this place to anyone! read more

I am very, very disappointed with my experience and now my dress. When I originally bought my dress in July I asked if sleeves could be added as I am having a winter wedding and I was told absolutely no problem! My dress was not supposed to come in until November but actually arrived early and I went for a fitting. There again I asked about my sleeves and was told that they weren't sure. I was obviously a bit upset but they said to let them see. I was called on Monday and told there was absolutely no way that they can add the sleeves I wanted. When I asked why someone would have told me that before they just said its a "misunderstanding" So now I am stuck with a $3000 wedding dress that is now really what I want at all. I think anyone getting married knows the dress is a huge part of the wedding and now I am stuck with one I half like. They did not seem too bothered by this and just basically said sorry about your luck, and sorry we told you we could before you bought it, but now you absolutely cannot. Be very careful when selecting you dress and requesting alterations. I now get to get married in a dress I barely like and cost us a pretty penny. Thanks for ruining my wedding and not giving a hoot! As long as you have your money that's all that matters!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
