We booked an appointment here during an extended visit I made to Boston because my MOH had heard good things from a couple of folks. We had a few appointments and I had a couple of plans with family and friends as well in a short time. This must vary based on who you get so YMMV but my experience was incredibly frustrating and a nightmare. Negative customer science and I cannot recommend this place as it seems the issues extend beyond the reported seamstress issues. Come if you like to be hot, thirsty, and frustrated while shopping for something that will cost a couple thousand dollars. *** My friend made a few different appointments for me. Some sort of glitch must have happened but only for this shop and none of the other shops. The appointment booked in PT time zone not ET and because it's in Boston... we all only looked at the confirmation and reminder that said 11am. My friend had noticed the time of 11am but that it seemed like the store opened at noon the night before so it was too late to call to check so we got up early after a late night to head over since it was almost an hour away and I'm definitely not a morning person on a weekend. Of course, we get there and it's closed and I call the number on the front door sign and leave a voicemail. We go on a side quest and come back half an hour late hoping to catch someone and stay for awhile before leaving. No luck. We head off for lunch with a friend and I call again around 1230 to figure out what's going on. Voicemail. A bit later they call back and say got your voicemail and don't know but you're not in our book at all for today and the tone was pointed. What? At this point, I'm incredibly frustrated. No apologies to say hey clearly there is a glitch but let's figure it out. Instead, a terse we don't have you in our book at all. Awkward pause. Do you still want to come? Internally, no but I am in need of a dress so I ask what times are available. It was like pulling teeth. She seemed so annoyed and asked me what time I want to come. We eventually schedule an appointment but I already had a bad taste. I drive back an hour from another commitment and arrive a few minutes late. She doesn't even greet me initially. My friend is there and greets me and catches me up that she's been looking at dresses for me to help get me started. She's great. I don't want to be here at this point especially since it felt as if our person was also standoffish. She finally introduces herself but throughout the visit I cannot help but compare her with the other employee helping another bride's mother. The other woman was friendly, encouraging, and had a few suggestions. My experience did not feel friendly. She helped me in and out of a few dresses but did not seem to understand what I was looking for. I didn't find too many things of interest but don't really hold inventory against stores because it can be pretty variable and unpredictable as to what comes in and what gets scooped up by others. During this process though, another bride comes in. She tries dresses on and was directed to stand on podium we were using so I was standing there waiting while I'm not sure what our person was doing. Did they overbook? In any case, the other woman noticed and offers the other bride's podium for us to see how the dress looks. Our person later suggests I can look through what's on the rack so I start flipping through. At this point, she decides to try to engage me in the time issue. I haven't even raised this with her because I'm just trying to sort out my existing frustration that's been further amplified because the place is hot with no air flow. I'm thirsty, tired, and frustrated. She now states that the time issue wasn't on their side as they had us down for a different time. Wtf. Earlier she told us we weren't even in the book. We figure out the time zone issue and she even says I'm not trying to argue with you but it's not on our side. Lol. I've had enough at this point so I say I don't think it's worth is discussing this at this point. I then stop flipping through the dresses and look at my friend and we leave. Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be fun. You're supposed to feel excited and supported not attacked. It's pointless trying to argue with someone who is not trying to solve something with you but trying to blame you. How hard would it have been to say hey clearly something went wrong and let's figure it out together? Anyways, terrible experience. Never coming back. Not recommended. Have been to 4 other places and they were all pleasant to visit even with varying levels of hospitality. Tulle is a place that does it right. I also liked Marry and Tux. They all reached out ahead of time to personally confirm the appointment, ask about vision to start brainstorming on dress matches, and were super friendly. We found a gem of a dress in their sale area for an absolute steal! They did an amazing job tailoring my dress and adjusting it over multiple fittings for a flat rate. So grateful for this boutique and it's staff! This was the first wedding dress shop I went to and I fell in love with the second dress I tried on. The stylish (I wish I remembered her name, she was the best) that was helping me was so kind and accommodating. I had no idea what style I wanted and despite it being a physically smaller space their selection is vast. There are dresses in all different price ranges. She never made me feel pressured me to pick a dress because she knew I had more appointments to go to and I was clearly overwhelmed. I found my wedding dress at Bride 'n' Belle in fall 2022 and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! I had tried on dresses at a few large department stores but it felt impersonal and overwhelming; ended up at Teresa's shop originally because I found that they carried a designer whom I liked. My experience at Bride 'n' Belle was just lovely. Teresa and her team were so warm and gracious; they were helpful without making me feel pressured to select a dress; they listened to what I had in mind and were helpful in finding dresses that could work. I ultimately found a dress that I LOVED, and eight months later the fitting process has been literally seamless (haha) - their in-house seamstress is extremely experienced and has made the whole process so stress-free. I had a wonderful experience at Bride 'n' Belle Boutique! I bought my dress in November for a December wedding! I came in a bit nervous and overwhelmed at all the options, and afraid of spending too much- thankfully, I had a great experience and so much helpful input from Teresa. I was able to find a dress that fit me (off the rack, as I only had 1 month!), my style and my budget in about an hour! She directed me and my friend to the section of dresses that she knew would fit both me and my style, gave us time and space when we needed to explore/try on things but also provided expert advice and help when we needed it! She was so kind by throwing in some sweet extras (like a bottle of champagne!) and a personal touch to the whole experience. I came in to the store a bit confused but left overjoyed at finding the best dress for me (a lovely Maggie Sottero gown) and confidence that I would love my look on my wedding day. They also had a back room where everything was 50% off, which I appreciated looking at. I was served by Teresa and Karli, who was extremely attentive and supportive. A few things stood out to me about Bride 'n' Belle compared to other stores: 1) Karli did a great job listening to my feedback with each dress I tried on before bringing next options. She made thoughtful suggestions without being pushy. 2) The dresses seem like they are well taken care of. I don't leave reviews but had to leave one for this business. I came to Bride N Belle after having the most traumatic experience at another bridal shop. Since I left my first appointment early I was running early to Bride N Belle and was told to come in right away and they'd help me, which was incredibly accommodating. You could tell they were short staffed since I came in super early and the owner herself was the one to help me. I told her I had a terrible experience earlier in the day and she simply hugged me and said she'd help me find my dress, and she did. I ended up with a dress from another designer which I love, I wanted to share my great experience from Bride 'n' Belle. From the outside, it looks not much in terms of glamour (or polished) but that's just it - look. I found the selection to be great in addition to the dress I was looking to try on from Justin Alexander. Teresa and her staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, they pulled several types for me to try on. Although I ended up liking the one I came for. The dress had a little jacket which was a little too long and we were trying to see if it can be modified. The seamstress told us that what we were trying to do would make the dress look cheap but went on to suggest a better way to wear it WITHOUT any modification. It looked fantastic. I had the most incredible experience at Bride n Belle - from start to finish. The selection is great, and staff is friendly. Bride n Belle was the first bridal boutique I went to back in January, expecting that it would be the first of many, because I can be really indecisive. But I found *the* dress on the first appointment! My attendant was very nice, and when I told her my budget and what I was looking for, she gave me guidance, pulling some suggestions as well as letting me pick out some on my own. The dress I ended up buying was about the 6th dress I tried on. I never felt rushed and went back and forth between two, before picking the dress I ultimately bought - which was actually two dresses in one because it had a removable train! It was truly unique, and the purchasing experience was wonderful. I even went to two other bridal salons afterwards (I already had appointments, and like I said, I'm indecisive) but found nothing like the dress I ended up getting. The Bride n Belle staff was extremely responsive - when I called in early summer to inquire about the delivery date, they called the designer personally and got them to move up the delivery date for me. Alterations were AMAZING - I don't know what the negative reviews here are about. I had 3 fittings and the work done was incredibly high quality and a quick turnaround. The ladies that work here are a blessing! I had an incident with my original bridesmaid dress and I was in desperate need for a new dark green bridesmaid dress that was not even in season. By luck I found 3 options that fit but needed slight altering. I decided on one that fit best since the wedding was the next day and there was no time. i was on a major time crunch because i had to work in a few hours and fly out the morning after so I didn't even bother to ask them about alterations. The ladies offered to immediately alter the dress and made it all happen within an hr. And the alterations looked great! I'm sure it's not something they do often but I'm eternally grateful for their attentive care and services!! I was so happy and relieved I was crying by the end. read more

This review primarily points toward the seamstress in this boutique. I would give it no stars. If I can give any advice at all I recommend not have alterations here at all. I had multiple dress fittings, for my wedding dress, my final one being 1 week before my wedding. I almost didn't not have a fitting as I was called the day of and asked to come earlier as the seamstress needed to leave. I asked if I could be seen the next day and could possibly be squeezed in on a busy Saturday. This is the least of the issues. I presented to the appointment hopeful my dress would finally fit after multiple fittings. Unfortunately it did not. At each appointment the seamstress continually accused me of losing weight (I wish I had been but I wasn't). I know this one from the scale as well as tracking measurements. At my final fitting I had no confidence in her ability to fix my dress with less than a week before I needed to leave for my wedding. The seamstress has absolutely no professionalism for yelling at a customer. It appears she had no idea what she was doing as she has actually damaged my dress. My dress was in shambles. Lace not completely on the bottom, she placed a seam right in the front of my lace jacket. It is obvious this woman does not enjoy her "craft" and appears to hate he The owner, Teresa, did her best to reconcile the situation and did offer to fix the dress herself. She did admit to the seamstress having a "temper" and that it is hard to find seamstresses as it seems to be a dying breed. Unfortunately due to the seamstresses unprofessionalism I did not trust leaving my dress in their hands. I took my dress elsewhere and in a matter of days my dress fits and she doctored the mistakes this woman had made to the best of her ability. Ladies, when your dress is too big in your chest pinning from the sides/back is not the only thing that will fix this. Unfortunately my alterations may have been out of the scope this seamstress was able to handle. I had a great experience purchasing my dress here so I do not want this review to prevent anyone from buying a dress here. Teresa thank you for your kindness and attempt to fix this situation. I wish I could give 0 stars but in fairness 1 Star is deserved because they had a fair selection of bridal dresses and there was one lady there who tried to smooth things over with us once we spoke up about the bad service we were receiving. Here's some highlights: 0. They have a lot of different dresses. 1. Rushed experience. They legit want you in and out of a dress within minutes. I understand that there are very decisive people who just know what they like BUT not everyone is like that so they need to relax. They will however stop trying to bum rush you out the door if you speak up. 2. They have approx 4-5 fitting rooms ? Which sounds pretty decent BUT if you cram 3 other brides and their bridal parties .. it's chaos. There's not enough seating area for everyone and brides are stumbling past one another. But hey, you can't blame a business for trying to squeeze in a ton of appointments at once in hopes of making big bucks off all these brides at the expense of their comfort right? 3. Unlike other bridal boutiques they do not help the bride in and out of their dresses. Our bride-to-be had to do that on her own. Although, to be totally fair the person that helped us did have clips (like all bridal shops) to make the dress fit better and if they felt up for it they would attempt to button 1-3 buttons for the bride or erratically place clips in strange areas. Jokes aside, 70% of the time it'll be decent clippings and the 30% they just didn't care anymore. It's cool, we'll "visualize". I took some pictures so please see and be the judge yourself. 4. They like to play changing room tag with your stuff. One minute you could be in one dressing room and if you walk away to grab a few more gowns to try on they will literally chuck your personal belongings along with any potential dresses you were looking at in another dressing room without telling you. Oh, but if you complain they will try to move you back .. to the next "best thing". To them this is totally normal and acceptable - cause why the heck not it's only been 36 minutes into your 1.5 hr appointment and aggravating a new bride to be once in a while is fun. 5. They are creative story tellers. One minute you'll have one staff helping you and the next you'll have someone else. If you question it they'll tell you it's because the first person helping you had to do paperwork - when you can clearly see that person is working with a new bride that just walked in. Like what was the point of explaining what you're looking for to the first girl if she's not going to stay with you through the experience. It wouldn't have been half as annoying if the first girl told the second lady what dresses were already tried on and what the bride to be was looking for but they didn't. How do I know? Because the second lady as sweet as she tried to be in this already awkward situation picked out dresses that were already tried on or just not what our bride to be was looking for. PS. First employee will fully stop acknowledging your existence once they change to a new bride. Some "teamwork" right? BTW, if you call back later the owner will personally give you another story saying that the bride that walked in later worked with that first employee before and wanted to work with them again and that's why the switch happened (but here's the thing ... why did the new bride that walked in actually get placed in the dressing room that was originally holding all the dresses and personal belongings of our bride to be?). I wasn't even the bride but I felt sick thinking how she must've felt having her stuff just casually thrown on the ground somewhere else without her knowledge. In conclusion, if you're a bride that knows what you want, doesn't need any help or opinion, don't care for your stuff being touched without permission, don't care for honest communication and is ready to throw $$ down the day of this place might be pretty decent for you. But if you're looking for the bridal experience where you want to feel special and treated with dignity and not some second class citizen - run. And run fast. read more

I bought my wedding gown over 2 yrs ago for my September 09 wedding. Overall, my experience at Bride n Belle wasn't too bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. I went in with an appointment -- it took over half an hour before anyone said anything to me. When you walk in the store, it looks like a bomb had hit it. The front of the store is flooded with god awful prom dresses. The wedding gowns were in the back. I had a list of dresses I had printed off -- and couldn't find any. Frustrated and hot (it was 100 degrees in there literally), I nearly walked out. It was then that a sales associate came up to me and asked what I needed. After failing to find them, she suggested that I go upstairs to look around. Fortunately, the upstairs stock is a little more organized. I was free to peruse and pick out as many dresses as I wanted. Brian later joined me to offer his opinion. The associate helping me came up with him. I tried on a total of 5 dresses -- mainly to get a feeling for fit and feel of the different styles. The sales lady was helpful and even offered me 10% off. I walked out with a gown which I absolutely loved. After placing the order, the dress came in only 7 mos afterwards. No fuss. No muss. I opted to take the gown home with me to store as judging by the condition of the store -- I didn't trust that it wouldn't be compromised in any way. Emily listened to my vision and pulled something that I never even though of trying, which happens to be the one that I said yes to! My friends and I had so much fun here and love their selections of dresses! The price couldn't be beat either! I would def recommend this place to all brides! I had a great experience at this boutique shopping for my wedding dress and then again shortly after for my bridesmaid dresses. When I went for my wedding dress shopping, the woman helping with us seemed frazzled and it all felt a bit chaotic at the beginning. Something may have happened before we arrived for our appointment. But then they seemed to become more patient and they understood that I wanted to try on some of the dresses a second time. We found my dress and they were so nice at the checkout. They took some photos of us and gave us nice gift bags with champagne and cookies! At the bridesmaid dress appointment, we had the loft where the bridesmaid dresses are all to ourselves, which was great. The bridesmaids got 20% off their dresses since I had bought my wedding dress there, making good quality dresses very affordable for my bridesmaids. They told me their seamstress was great so I had been planning on having my dress altered there but after reading some of these reviews on the seamstress I may try to find someone else to alter my gown. I also like that they had a bathroom you are allowed to use since we were there for a few hours. Parking is convenient and free, too! read more

I spoke too soon! When you put your trust in the professional.. sometimes it's not always a good thing. After I bought my dress in August, they suggested that I go in for my first fitting after Thanksgiving. So it was book for early December and second fitting mid-January. I had question if that's too early; they said no... April-May is the start of wedding season... it's going to be busy so the planning for the fitting will fit perfectly and ensure that I will have my dress all ready to go in time. So OK.. and of course I've heard horrible stories about dress not being ready and such so I went with their advice since they more know than I do. I put my trust in them. I asked how much would it be ... the seamstress said about $500. I was told that alterations will be capped at $600 when I bought the dress. So ok good. I continued to work with the seamstress for my dress but it probably would have been cheaper if I took it somewhere else. Everybody was so nice so I decided just to stay with them. My dress came out a little different from what I expected. At my second fitting, I had asked the seamstress NOT to take in along the armpit but nope it was taken in because I see the thread and the knot ends sewn from the alterations. I have a small chest so when I tried it on, she suggested that I take the sides in a bit so it doesn't look too empty because of no cleavage. I said no that's fine because I will wear a push up bra rather than having the armpit area taken in a bit and having the beading rub against my arms. I specifically said to leave that part of the dress just as it and have the back taken in. And I picked up my dress at the end of Feb which is uber early... my wedding is at the end of May. Another regret that I trust the professionals. But it's too late now and yes it is my fault for trusting and not checking when I picked up my dress but seriously.. can't just go and fix whatever you want. It states on the receipt that once taken out of the store, they are not held responsible for anything. So remember brides, CHECK YOUR DRESS thoroughly before stepping out the door. Although what is done probably cannot be undone but still people should know better. Luckily, I don't look too crazy with the beading digging into my armpit. We were in a total time crunch due to a bad experience at another boutique for my future daughter-in-law's wedding dress. It was mid-July and the wedding is mid-August! The staff at Bride and Belle were amazing! The owner, Teresa, found the perfect dress in stock. They rushed alterations for us, even though it's the height of wedding season. It fits her perfectly and everyone was so nice and helpful! The shop is beautiful inside and the selection/prices are great. We wish we had gone to bride and Belle first! When I walked in the first thing the person that came to help me said. "Oh, you don't have to wear a mask here, we don't require them." She was not wearing a mask. Very disappointing. I did still shop there because I wasnt able to find anything anywhere else. I went to return the jacket and top combo I bought. I didn't really like it that well. Mother of the groom top. Most places give you seven days to return. Nope I did ask at the time I was there what the return policy was.However, we started talking about something else and she never aswered. I had a very good experience here. I found Bride 'n' Belle on line, because they carry the Cameron Blake line of " mother of the bride" dresses. I came a number of times to select the dress, have fittings and alterations, decide on shoes. I never had an appointment, but they always were very nice, and helpful, whether they had other customers or not. This is not a fancy place, but they have a huge collection of gowns for brides, their bridesmaids, their mature relatives, much more selection than I found in department stores, or a fancy bridal shop with much higher prices. I had an amazing experience shopping here. First of all, I was surprised when they accepted my appointment request last minute on New Year's Day! When I entered the store, I was again surprised at the large selection that they have. Don't let the small store front and the surrounding low key Medford area fool you - they have LOTS of great dresses here and the selection is larger than most bridal stores I've been to. And the selection of their sample, discount dresses were awesome! Everywhere else I've been to, the sample section is very slim picking and not exciting, but they have so many great dresses here. They are very nice and kind and helped me pick out my dress, especially when I was shopping alone and all of my bridesmaids live out of town. I had a great experience here. I went to many, many bridal stores looking for a wedding dress before coming here and finding one I loved. They have a great selection of dresses, and a range of prices. My budget was not very high, and they were very respectful of selecting only the dresses that were within my budget. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and patient. Once I decided on a dress they even gave us some champagne to celebrate! I ended up getting my dress alterations done here as well and I couldn't have asked for more. I live out of state, and was only back in town for one weekend prior to my wedding. The seamstress met with me twice on Friday (morning and afternoon), and then I was able to pick up the dress on Saturday. I was really grateful for the short turnaround, and the alterations were perfect. Overall I had a really great experience here, and I would highly recommend to others! read more

Bride n Belle had EXACTLY what I was looking for in a wedding dress- I am so glad I went! The store may be unassuming from the front, but once you go inside they have racks and racks of dresses. There is something for everyone here with very reasonable prices. The women who worked here made the experience fun. Teresa personally recommended a dress to me and it turned out to be the one! THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO GET YOUR WEDDING DRESS!! I am so grateful for the entire staff at Bride 'n' Belle! I called 30-minutes ahead and Theresa graciously let me and my bride squad come in. The entire staff was very loving and accommodating! My wedding was 5-weeks out and never once did they make me feel stressed out. They were so level headed and had an incredible "we're going to make it happen" attitude. If the staff wasn't amazing enough, they had a huge room lined on each side with beautiful dresses that were 50% off!! My dress originally was $3600, and I bought it from this sale room at $1800. On top of all this, when I found the dress, they celebrated with us by cheersing with a glass of champagne. **** best of all, her son owns a tuxedo place down the road. So you can send you future hubbies to him!**** I want to extend a huge thank you to the entire staff for your love, hard work, and dedication to making my big day great!! read more

This place left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I called to ask if I could have alterations done on my wedding dress that I didn't purchase from them and the Owner was very pleasant and said "yes, come on it". After that, It all went down hill. Once I arrived, I met with the seamstress for alterations- she was extremely unpleasant. She never smiled, was rude. Made rude comments about my dress (re: the price I paid for it as it was cheap and all I can afford), said she couldn't do the alterations that I was requesting (the reason I brought the dress there) somehow convinced me that other alternations needed to be done. Then said goodbye without telling me a price when i asked for it. I walked out of the store with no receipt that they had my dress or any proof so I walked back in 5 minutes later feeling very uncomfortable about the situation. I asked for proof (a receipt) that my dress was with them. The front desk girl pleasantly gave me one. She set up a pick up day 4 weeks away. On the day of pick up they canceled my appt and wouldn't let me at least come in and see the dress. They scheduled the pick up the following week - I tried my dress on by myself - the seamstress came down to see me and I noticed two things- the specific alteration I requested was never done and there was a thread pulled on the front of my chiffon wedding gown skirt that cannot be fixed. When I asked why the alteration had not been done - she said - "opps, I forgot". She continued to make unpleasant comments about the dress i loved and bought and made me feel bad. Saying she can't make it any better and that unfortunately that's the way it is. In turn I said in a positive light ; "I really like this dress, okay?" I can honestly say that nothing was noticeably altered on my dress except for the bra cups were sewn in. Yet, I paid the fee and quickly got my dress out of her possession before it got worse. If I were the Owner I would heavily consider removing the seamstress from staff. Such a lousy experience for what would normally be such a happy and fun occasion. A few hours after posting this review, I called the owner to chat with her about my experience per the request of my fiance. The owner "Teresa" was irate & unprofessional, saying that she wouldn't help me, never-mind let me get a word in edge wise because "now everyone on the internet read my review". read more

Unfortunately, after consulting with more than ten seamstresses, it has been confirmed that the sample dress they sold me that in their words would be incredibly easy to alter - not so much. I had many seamstresses flat out tell me they did not even have time to consult such an extensive and expensive project and that it was irresponsible of the shop to sell me the dress. The others told me that IF they could figure out how to alter it correctly, the alterations would cost more than I paid for the dress. I will now attempt to sell the dress and will be losing a few hundred dollars probably. I'll be starting from scratch. I can only be happy that I figured this out 7 months out from the wedding rather than a couple months out when I would have been planning to alter it. With how awful of an experience I had, I don't know if I would even want to fix the dress at this point. It's just full of awful memories. I am thrilled to be going to a different shop and to have a happy special experience. Bride n Belle ruined my dress shopping experience. They sold me a dress that could not possibly be fit properly to my body, did not offer to show me veils or accessories, and gave me a bad attitude. I not only would not recommend this shop, but I would suggest you avoid this shop like the plague. :( read more

If you need a bridesmaid dress... B n B probably has it in their ample mothball smelling collection. Twice I've gone to B n B to try on samples by Alfred Angelo and Impressions. And, twice I found a dress worth ordering. No one offered to help me on either visit, but I'm ok with that. I knew what I needed. Both dresses arrived within the expected timeframe - in the right color and size. However, in both cases I paid $50 more than if I'd ordered online. I took the first dress to an outside seamstress for alterations. The second time, I asked Bride n Belle to do the alterations. Huge mistake. OMG, DO NOT LET THE BRIDE N BELLE SEAMSTRESS DO YOUR ALTERATIONS. The chest was too big and the skirt was too long. But, the seamstress just didn't feel like doing the work. She told me she could shorten the halter straps and it would look great. When I went to pick it up a week later, not only was is not ready - it looked like crap and still didn't fit. I took the dress to a neighborhood dry cleaner this morning, and thankfully he is going to alter it correctly - the way Bride n Belle should have done it. read more

Yesterday was a big shopping day in planning-my-wedding-land. My MOH is up from CT and we were in it for the long haul-- we had the shoes, the bra, the water, and snacks. We had a camera, the gps, and a whole day. One of our stops was to Bride n Belle. It's in a little block of shops on main st. in Medford. I'd driven past it before and thought it looked scary- but one of my clients had been there and assured me that they were great. We walked in right behind someone else and it seemed to fluster the woman behind the counter a little. She separated our two little parties and then said a bunch of things that didn't make any sense and then walked away. (...) We walked back further into the store and the same woman gestured to us and to a saleslady. I explained the situation - I was looking to match a specific color and I wanted to start with swatch books. She led us back to a little cubby where there was a milk crate with a tangled, grubby wad of swatches. I had looked at the list of designers on their website and went looking specifically for one (Mori Lee)-- when I asked about that set of swatches, we were informed that they no longer carried their dresses. She seemed disorganized and led us back to where the bridesmaid dresses were and started pulling out dresses to show us colors because the swatches weren't current and didn't match what they had in the store. The selection was limited and the whole process was really unhelpful. We left pretty quickly. It wasn't worth the trip. read more

If an ice dancer was also a part time hooker for formal events, she'd be outfitted here. We went here on a whim after trying on a dress at another boutique and not liking the price or the staff there. The ladies at BnB said that they could get me my dress for a lower price and they had a wide selection of bridesmaids dresses. Unfortunately, the two maids dresses that we liked were both in the wrong section of the store and were discontinued. We did find one that we liked equally, but had to order it by the end of the year because the manufacturer was discontinuing that style as well. The maid's section is incredibly packed and disorganized, so just keep that in mind. Once my dress came in, they did the alterations and said that it would be ready in a week at 11:30. When I got there, they said 2:30 instead. It was annoying, for sure since my parents and I had thought we would just swoop in, try it on, and then leave. They definitely should have called. When we finally got the call, we went in and they had already steamed the dress thinking that I wasn't going to try it on, which is just crazy. But the dress fits, the alterations to my and my niece's dress were completely reasonable in price, and I can cross that off of my list of things to do for my wedding! read more

I wasn't real thrilled about going to this store since I'd read so many horrible reviews online. However, I wanted to look at some Alfred Angelo wedding gowns, and they're the only store in the area that carries them. So, I sucked it up an made an appointment for 11AM on a Thursday. I went to the store with my mother and my aunt and we arrived about 15 minutes early. The saleswoman (Jo) said she would be with us as soon as the owner (Theresa) arrived, leaving us to look around the store while she helped a few little girls try on flower girl dresses. I immediately found the Alfred Angelo dresses (they had several) but the dresses were all packed in too tightly to really look at them closely. Once Jo was freed up she took us "upstairs" where there were a lot more dresses. There was also a separate dressing room, chairs, and a multi-level platform in front of several mirrors. We talked a bit about what I was looking for and I said something shorter, preferably with lace. She showed me a few gowns from the upstairs area that I might like and put those in the dressing room for me. She also grabbed about half a dozen of the shorter dresses, giving me about 8 - 10 dresses to try. She then helped clip me into the dresses, giving opinions on how they looked. She didn't seem at all bothered by me not liking the longer dresses she had suggested. And when I found "the" dress, she completely agreed that it was the best one. She also said she could take 10% off, although the dress was well below my price point. Since Bride 'n' Belle was the first store I tried, we left to go to two other stores. Having had no luck there, we returned at about 4pm and ran into Jo on her way home for dinner. When she saw us, she came back to the store with us to help set up the order. They measured me, wrote up the order, and had me pay half. She said they would call in the order and give me a call to tell me when the dress would come in. However, Theresa offered to call and place the order while I was there. This proved to be helpful because we had to revise the order so that I could get the dress sooner (I only had 3 1/2 months until the wedding) and I left with my dress ordered and the expectation that it would arrive within 10 business days. A week later (4 business days) I got a call telling me my dress was in. I set up an appointment to go in to try it on for the week after that. The process of the alterations was a bit challenging because of a language barrier. We did eventually solidify what I wanted done (the back shortened a bit and the top taken in a little). The seamstress was very patient with my aunt taking photos of me in the dress (we later realized there was a "no photos" sign but no one seemed to care) and the saleswomen and owner kept commenting on how beautiful the dress was on me. I was told the alterations would take two weeks. At this point I paid the second half of the price of the dress. (While I was trying my dress on, a girl in the next dressing room was crying. I have no idea why, but all of the women who worked there seemed to be very nice and comforting to her.) Two weeks later, I called to check on my dress. I recognized Jo's voice on the phone but she sounded very confused about which dress I was talking about and said she couldn't find any information on me. Knowing I had receipts, this didn't really stress me out, and someone else there quickly remembered the dress. She told me it was done and I could come pick it up. I went in two days later to pick up the dress and pay for the alterations. Although I haven't tried it on, because it's all pressed and stuffed with tissue to keep its shape, the alterations look good. All told, the time from me looking for my dress to having it was 4 weeks and 2 days. Aside from a bit of short-lived confusion when it came time to get the dress, the process was painless and the employees were incredibly helpful, friendly, and kind. I could see not liking this store if you're the kind of bride who expects to be treated like a princess. But if you just want a dress without a lot of fuss, Bride 'n' Belle might be the place for you. read more

I'm really surprised at all of the bad reviews here. Our salesperson, Jodie, could not have been more helpful and attentive! It's true that this place has some cheese, but it has such a huge selection of dresses (especially mother of the bride) that there is something for everyone. Plus, it's refreshing to have so many options at one location. Minus 1 star for not being the cutest/neatest shop in the world, but be patient and get ready to look through a lot of racks and I promise you'll find something you love. read more
