I completed my first session and everything was going great. Unfortunately, I later found out that the artist I had been working with was no longer at the shop. I reached out to Iconiq, and the owner, Rick, personally called me back. He immediately took the situation seriously, offered several solutions, and made sure I was taken care of. That's the kind of customer service that really stands out. Needless to say, I'm a satisfied customer. My tattoo was completed, and the issue was resolved professionally and promptly. The shop was always clean, well-organized, and spacious enough to move around comfortably during breaks. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the other artists were friendly and supportive. Several of them stopped by to check on my tattoo, offer their opinions, and make sure everything was coming out right. Tattoos aren't cheap these days, but you get what you pay for. We were told to come back after the tattoo heals so they could "try to fix it," but no one explained how a tattoo with this many issues could realistically be corrected. This tattoo has a lot of sentimental meaning to us, which makes this even more disappointing. We expected accountability and a genuine effort to make things right. At the very least, we feel a refund or partial refund should have been offered, as the quality of the work is clearly not acceptable. This is my second time coming to this shop for their Friday the 13th flash sale, and once again it…read moredid not disappoint! The deal was $31 + $9 tip, and they had about 75 sheets of designs to choose from. I went earlier this year compared to last time, which I definitely preferred. It's walk-in only and first come, first served. You look through the flash sheets, pick what you want, and put your name on the list. What I really appreciated was how organized everything was. After I signed in, they gave me an estimated wait time. Since it's CASH ONLY, I let them know I needed to pull money out, and the woman taking names was super nice she took my number and said she'd text me when there were about five people ahead of me. That was such a great system because I was able to wait outside instead of being cramped inside the shop. When I got the text, I went back in and waited comfortably. They have couches and plenty of standing room, so it didn't feel crowded at all. They had about four artists working, so the line was moving steadily. The shop itself was clean, spacious, and had a great vibe with good music playing. When it was my turn, I was assigned an artist and it happened to be the same one I had last time, Jessica! I loved that it just worked out that way through rotation. She placed the stencil, made sure I was happy with it, and got to work. We chatted while she tattooed, and before I knew it, she was done. It was such an easy, comfortable experience. Overall, I had a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and chill, everything was well organized, and the vibe was on point.
