This property management is the absolute worst. They now own Riverbend on the Charles in Watertown, Ma. Logo is to Expect Exceptional! Apartment building has residents who require the elevator which was down for 3.5 months. Takes approximately 4-6 weeks to get a new appliance! No calls or emails are ever returned. Water and sewer bills are much higher than they should be No integrity at all here! read more

The problem with management companies is they negotiate with the actual property owners for the contract to service said property. They typically will under bid knowing they would have a better chance of landing the job so they do. Unfortunately by doing this they not only lie to the client but the residents get the raw deal because the things that should be maintained and cleaned do get done due to a short fall in monthly budget moneys. I went through a build with bridge in the SLC area, the contractor they hired to build this property was a cheap run of the mill company. They never did complete the project due to cost over runs and mismanagement of funds. Once we began to pre lease the units is when I realized they had no intentions of keeping the place looking like new. Within a matter of a couple months the property looked like it had been there for 10 or more years. Since I went through almost the entire build, at least the last year of it I remained long enough to realize they were taking financial advantage of the residents and not providing any services. I watched a lot of people move out and they had no clue they were going to be billed for no notice and that amounted to months worth, not a day or two. Total predators. It was sad to spend quality time looking after that property only to have it look like trash 3 months later. One of the funny things was the city of West Valley had originally told Bridge they could NOT charge for parking and it was in the contract with the city as well. Guess they still charge for parking and a lot from what I hear. There should be a class action suite started for that. Residents may have a chance at a refund. Received surprise call by management June 3, 2025 and provided them my address. Still no deposit showed up. Called several times. Take a little time to read their reviews on Better Business Bureau, google, etc. The reviews speak for themselves. They have been sued over 27 times and are currently in the middle of a lawsuit as we speak. They're known for price gouging their apartments, advertising units that are allegedly "upgraded" when they're not. Don't even get me started on the upper management and staff. They're disrespectful and don't do a damn thing. They lie to their tenants all the time, all they're good at his gaslighting. They don't give a shit about malfunctioning appliances, even though by state law everything in our apartment should be working properly after all that's what we pay our rent for. The first one they rented me was a unit that they neve disclosed had flooded previously- not once but several times due to their negligence and failure to resolve the issue. All they did after my apartment (and numerous others) flooded over 5 feet of water. All they did was break my lease and tell me to figure it out. I should have sued them right then and there. Now I'm down the street at Saratoga Ridge experiencing hell with them again. I will be taking matters into my own hands and seeking legal representation from here on out. After reading all the negative reviews and then finding out how many lawsuits they've had against them for treating people like this it's about damn time they get what's coming to them. I am currently living in Lakeside Retreat in Norcross GA. I warn anyone wanting to rent from them to please consider your options. I am having issues with the management not returning phone calls or emails. They are slow with the responses with work orders. Building is not upgraded to make sure you will not have pest! I am constantly having to spray and bomb with my own pests solutions. They will never send a notice about the nosily neighbors when I complain. I've called the police several times and since they don't reside in the unit they really don't have a concern to resolve the issue. A snake came into my apartment on Saturday from a hole in the wall by the plumbing and they only came out to fill the hole on Monday. I stressed it was an emergency. The manager has not reached out to discuss reimbursement for me paying to have someone's pet snake removed from my unit. It is not a good value for your hard earned money. For the past several months, I have been reaching out and submitting maintenance requests to have a bathtub repair. The crack worsened and became more of a hole. The tub is squishy, and sediment (sewage, dirt, I'm not sure) shoots out of it. My five-year-old scraped his foot on it. Kids get hurt. I know. However, when the presence of C.Tetani is at hand, I feel differently. No more use of that tub/shower. I submitted a maintenance request again, with it being safety concern this time. It still went unanswered (actually, they "close" requests, even if they aren't done). Other major issue (there are all kinds of smaller issues, and I just don't care about those - I'm not picky but I need my family to be safe): I called the office in December because there were some kids throwing bricks and large rocks into the air at the property's playground, right outside my kids' window. They also kick my door full force, amongst other things that are way outside the realm of normal apartment living. I teach math and science to at-risk teens so my level of patience is high and my behavioral expectations are low. I was afraid the rocks would hurt someone or go through my sons' window. I called AGAIN and was told to take a picture or video of the kids and call the police. I let them know that I would NOT be doing either of those things, I wanted a reminder or something sent to residents, as they do this with other things like dog poop and smoking. Guess what happened last week? A rock got thrown through the window right next to my sons' window. Fortunately, no one was hurt. I paid full rent for January and kept asking for safety issues and maintenance to be resolved. Since it was taking so long, I asked to pay the rent cost for a 1br/1ba since that was all I could use. February - did not pay rent because I was waiting to hear back about the amount. I made this very clear before, during, and after rent was due. I came home to a legal notice on my door with a court date - they are suing me. If I had gotten a call, email, or notice denying my rent cost request, I would have paid it. The notice I received three days ago claims that a notice was hand-delivered to a resident on Feb. 6th. No one was home and I can prove that as well. Attached to the legal document I received this week was a copy of the notice that they claim I was given. They are forging, backdating, and doing what they need to do to not get in trouble. read more

From maintenance to contractors to leasing agents to the Senior Property Manager to corporate there exist malpractice, negligence and lack of accountability. My clothes caught fire in one of the dryers due to improper maintenance. The machine failed to cycle my clothes while forced hot air was pushed into the appliance indicating a failed dryer motor or belt. The exposure to the fire extinguishing agent caused my skin to react. It's been a month since the incident and my skin still hasn't healed. It's been 2 weeks since a settle agreement was made and I still haven't received my compensation. This place has proven violation to fire codes and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.) They say you have 60 days to pay move out charges, but will give your account to debt collectors by day 15. Shady practices from the company, and severely unhelpful staff from the St Louis Park location. They failed to communicate information in a timely and professional manner. My property manager could never be reached at their phone number. We would be promised follow up, but not get it within an acceptable timeframe if at all. If you see a sign for a property with a Bridge Homes sign, run away. They did not even own the house I leased at the time I leased. It was sold to them mid-lease. I AM a property manager and I would never do the shady crap they do. I have yet to receive my deposit disposition. I had the home professionally cleaned and landscaped prior to move out. They came several days early while I was still moving and rent had been paid in full. A maintenance man went into my home without notice, and stole some remaining items I had not moved yet. They took my key with them, and then tried to say I had not cleaned or mowed. I had photos and invoices. The house was not made ready when I moved in because I took possession with the understanding they had not had a chance to enter. I had hundreds of photos of the issues at move in. I never once requested maintenance and took care of issues on my own. I paid my rent timely and kept the yard looking nice. We took care of the home. They had the house listed as a four bedroom with granite counter tops and tried to increase my rent several hundred dollars a month at renewal. It was a three bed with crappy brown laminate counter tops. They are ridiculous and even after a demand letter for my deposit disposition from my attorney, they just ignore every email and phone call. They are legally required to return my deposit with in 45 days and it has been 8 months. DO NOT LEASE FROM THESE PEOPLE. read more

I currently live at Country Club Verandas. My apartment flooded approximately July of 2021. I am currently living in my living room. Have been since then. I spoke to regional manager Jeremy Wash yesterday and he advised me that my apartment would have drywall put up starting Wednesday. I have been trying to get ahold of Bridge Property Management to find out when the work would be completed in my apartment. No response. I have had to file a complaint on Better Business Bureau to get a response. I was told that there were over 20 units that were affected and the insurance claim was astronomical. Not my problem. I have been advised my apartment would also have new carpet placed throughout. Jeremy stated he would have someone in there on Do not move here the residents are not being heard and there best interest are not at heart. It also is a health risk as well! Accent on Decatur was a nice place before these guys took over and started losing people's rent money and then trying to evict them. Not only did the apartment complex screw up his deposit and lost his notice to Vacate at the end of his lease, but the property went under this management company and filed a dispossessory... as if he still lived there and had not paid his rent!! Regardless of which unit you dwell on the property you will have to dwell where an abundance of inconveniences made by Monthly maintenance issues such as no running water and/or no hot water in the building day or night and Zero water shut down notices for repairs will occur. It is 12-17-2020 - as an essential worker, I report to work at 5am But I am not at work today because I woke up at 4am to No running water, Zero notices about water shut down in the building. It is now 2:03pm on 12-17-2020 and still No running water in my apartment unit, 36*F outside, currently menstruating, great! Plumbing issues on this property are several times a month, every single month. Rent is paid in full every single month, and rent payments are increased each year, a host of Do Not rules and limitations to onsite amenities you pay for just to receive these living conditions, should be illegal. Lived at this property since 2004 (first, it was Mayan Plaza, then it became Helix......well Heel licks as I call it), through all of the ownership changes Bridge has been the WORST BY FAR!!! They take ANY opportunity to squeeze just one more charge out of their tenants. Every lease is riddled with obnoxious changes. Now, after living in this apartment for 10 + years, I have to get rid of a BBQ grill I have had the whole time, or they are going to "fine" me starting $50, then $100, then they will evict you. I have had pets in this apartment since I moved to Vegas in 2003, suddenly last year Bridge got overly pissy and started giving me crap about my animals...THAT NO ONE EVEN KNOW I HAD!!! I mean I never hid it, and no one ever cared. If I had the ability to get the holy FU&K outta here I would in a heartbeat. This company actually uses its maintenance staff to spy on the tenants. I had a repair to my bathroom (poorly done) and found out that as soon as the maintenance dude got back to the office he was hit with questions like, "did you meet her husband, I have never seen him... I don't think she really is married" and "is her apartment clean, does it smell, does how many cats does she have?" It literally feels as if I am living in a prison colony in this complex... I am going to start out with anybody that rents from this property management company is a fool! They enacted a retaliatory eviction against myself and at that time girlfriend And now they're coming back at us with a collection agency trying to collect for the remainder of the lease! Don't get involved with these scammers, they're liars and they will do nothing but attempt to drain you of every illicit Penny they can. The beginning of this was I have post-traumatic stress syndrome brought on by cutting my finger off. It is triggered by the sound of a blade cutting wood and I let the apartment complex know this when I moved in, knowing that construction is common on apartment complex property. Three days after reporting an attack on their property, with no security whatsoever available, they had their landscape company comes cut down a tree right in front of my apartment. This led to a meltdown on my part, due in a large part to the refusal of the person cutting the tree to stop so I could speak with him. I end up in a mental hospital over this, and during that time the manager Roxanne sent an eviction notice. Needless to say I was happy to move, even though being just on disability for a physical issue it was not in my budget to do so. I managed to find a place that I could actually afford a few hundred miles away, and my girlfriend at that time was gracious enough to spring for the move. Now, after this illegal retaliatory eviction, 8 months later they're coming back after me for the remainder of the lease... When I called and tried to explain originally what happened, I was laughed at. They thought my stay at the mental facility was a big joke!
