I guess this place was recently taken over and is no longer LA Road thrift . Prices are significantly higher, items that used to be $6-10 are now $15-$30. Jackets as high as $70 and almost nothing under $9 for clothes. Forever 21 and Ross/Marshall's are now cheaper than damaged items at the thrift that need reworking at home to be wearable/usable. Despite the big price increase still no fitting room and they don't discount damaged items. No more loyalty program and same bad return policy. Asked to get a $17 dress discounted due to a large snag/several minor stains at the bottom as I would have to pay to have it altered to hide the damage and they said "we price everything correctly." It was double the price of designer slacks so clearly they don't but you can still find steals at the previous price point if you dig as they have not relabeled their entire inventory. Still a great spot for glasses and dish ware but you're better off at goodwill or even Depop as the prices here have gone way up. read more

The selection here is hit or miss but it's fairly well organized and I have found some gems in the past when it was LA Road. They need to work on pricing though. Charging $5 for a used kids' Target or Old Navy T-shirt that you can buy NEW for $3? Come on! Not exactly "helping the community." Gotta say, not exactly happy with the new ownership. They even got rid of the fitting rooms and the books promo. BOO! read more

So far my favorite thrift store to shop at. On the smaller size for a thrift store which is perfect for me because I can overwhelmed in larger spaces. Well organized and staff are friendly. Went in to this store in a generally horrible mood as well as underwhelmed by Glendales thrift stores. An hour later (and moments before closing I checked out with five pairs of pants a body suit a poncho (flowy vesty thing?) and a pair of converse for under $40. Adam introduced himself to me by name and I overheard him remembering other guests names from the one other time they'd visited. Can class meet a thrift store? This store answers: yes. If everything I've purchased is not brand new I'd be shocked because if the condition. WOULD recommend but as long as you aren't in there snatching things up before I can get to them! Place is bomb. Best friendly staff. The most Clean & organized thrift store we've ever been in. Thrifting is my thing. When my 18 yr old niece visiting from Massachusetts asked me to take her thrifting, I was delighted!! Due to covid, and being after 3pm in La, I didn't want to venture out to my usual spots on melrose or in Burbank to be disappointed with limited time, so I turned to Google and Yelp to check reviews and hours of operation and I'm so glad I found this place!! Stress free parking for free99. There is a sign on the door that says Masks are required for ALL customers including vaccinated. (today is 6/23/2021) We were bummed about the signage but decided since we made the drive to suck it up. The friendly staff offered us masks as we walked in. Place is a gem. Within the first few minutes I found gold. We hit about 4 more thrift stores after this one, none comparing in selection, price, organization or lack of weird old ppl clothes. Looking forward to returning soon. read more

This review is for the donation process only. Donation drop-off is located behind the store and there are signs posted to stay in your car. The gentleman took the donations from my car was wearing a mask and gloves, it was a very safe and easy process. Plus, he offered me a coupon/receipt if I wanted to leave my name & e-mail info. This store use to be great, but they have jacked up their prices so much it's ridiculous. I no longer want to even donate my goods here because of the price gauging. Charging 64.99 for a pair of used boots, or 74.99 for used bikes is unacceptable. The list goes on with other items. read more

Very solid thrift store for furniture and clothes! I find myself out this way quite a bit and like that they keep their best furniture in the front window (plus a lot of patio type stuff fenced in outside) so I can gauge whether or not I want to stop in. I'm not a huge used clothes shopper myself (no issue with it, just don't have the patience), but they do have a really good selection of men's and women's clothes here. My fiancé and I love coming to thrift shops to sort through the record and book selections, and I can't say this is our favorite shop for that. The aren't a ton of records here (although we did buy a couple 45s last time we were in) and while there are a good number of books, nothing has ever really caught my eye. My absolute favorite part of this shop (and why I think it's somewhat of a hidden gem) is their little vintage shop outside on the fenced in patio. It's basically a garage with really rad, actually vintage (not just used) pieces. Think small furniture, one of a kind clothes, and tchotchkes for your home. They're higher priced than the rest of the shop, but still cheaper than what you'd find at a lot of boutique-y spots around LA. Don't miss it whole you're here! read more

Love this store!!! Great spot to shop vintage! Handbag and shoe selection isn't great for vintage shoppers but they have an amazing area outside they call their Boutique. EVERYTHING in there is true vintage. I fell in love. Perfectly set up and well curated. Prices are low and reasonable. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area. read more

Omg so this store in the front has clothes high up. My neck was hurting from having to reach up and look through the shirts. The dresses are deeper in the store near the kids stuff. As an avid and experienced thrifter, I can say that this place charges consignment store prices instead of thrift shop prices. Example $9.99 for a no brand sweater, $7.99 tees. However, the selection does not reflect a consignment shop. Only plus is the kind staff. Nevertheless, don't think i'll be visiting this thrift store again. read more

Came by with a HUGE bag of donations & two chairs just before 4pm. I checked their hours on their website, stated they'd be open until 5pm for donations. When I got there the donation center was closed, the sign they had hanging said 10am- 2pm. Disappointed I came all the way there & couldn't leave my items. Pet peeve is businesses not updating their hours or just making it up as they please. read more

Prices are insane. It's a shame, I've donated a bunch here and it's so nice to have a local spot, but seeing very used off brand shoes for 40 dollars and jeans for 30 bucks just sent me over! Posting as constructive feedback. I understand thrifting is now seen as this cool and trendy thing but it's so off putting when you can feel establishments taking advantage of that rather then keeping things fairly priced as they should be. Thanks for wanting to donate! We do accept furniture, but we don't have a pickup service. Our donation drop-off is open 10am-4pm, Monday thru Saturday.

Do you guys have a book section? If yes is it a big section or just a few books?

There is a large section of books and if you buy at least 5, you get 50% off all your books.

Can I sell my clothes to L.A. ROAD Thrift store?

Hi Chrystal, as a community thrift store, we operate 100% by donations from the community. We do not purchase any items.

Will you be open on Veterans Day?

Yes we will! However, we will be closed Tuesday and Thursday for film shoots.

Do you guys pick up mattress? I have a king size memory foam mattress that's in really good condition. Just bought a firmer replacement.

Sorry we aren't able to accept any mattress donations!

Do you accept yarn? I have 11 bags and most units are in whole and original condition.

Then I went to the book section and was amazed at all of the different types of books. Self help, fantasy, autobiographical, thrillers and more! I actually picked up four supernatural style novels. Checking out was easy. The cashier was friendly and saw that one of my articles of clothing had a green tag. Which meant 50% off! There's a free condom display for practicing safe sex. That's amazing! Oh, and on Saturday, February 21st 2026 they are having $2 sale in the parking lot. I will definitely start following them for their monthly $2 sales!

I stopped by on a Sunday morning and there was a small line waiting to get in. The darling gal that opened the door greeted us with a cheerful "Hello." She was fabulous - walking around enthusiastically telling customers, "That is perfect for you" in Spanish. The excitement was definitely in the air because I happened to overhear one gal's phone conversation. She said, "My mom kept telling me to come were to find a jacket for my trip. I finally said o.k. so she would leave me alone and guess what? I found the perfect jacket and it's my size! I hate it when my mom is right." I had to laugh. Her mom is right though, this store has a vast selection of clothing, jewelry, accessories, furniture, houseware, and other items. Most shoes & clothing are priced at $10. Of course, I fell in love with a stunning Roberto Cavalli dress. Unfortunately, it was $250. I also saw a pair of beautiful Louboutins for $45 but they weren't my size. However, I did score a great little black dress and a pair of sexy L.A.M.B. heels for $10 each. Perfect date night outfit! Now I just need to find a date. LOL!

I find their pricing to be very reasonable, they have a wide range of styles and price points, and because they're always buying they always have new things to see! They are very clear about their selling process - you drop off your items and they reach out within a few days with your total and you can choose cash or credit. You have to fill out a form that clearly states their policies, so as long as you read that there will be no surprises. If you have any questions, the staff is so happy to answer them for you. I've had questions about why things haven't sold or why they were priced the way they were and I have never been unsatisfied by their answers. I like other consignment/resale shops, too, but I think the Left Bank has the best customer service, the best selling policies, the best selection, the best prices in all of LA. Oh! They have a great instagram, too! It's awesome if you aren't local or aren't able to make it to the physical shop as often as you'd like.

There's so much to browse through, and most sections are fairly well organized, though a few shelves and aisles looked pretty picked over and messy, which I mostly avoided. My brother-in-law and I spent some time in the toy section and we both actually ended up leaving with some teddy bears. His was only $3, and when he looked it up in the store it was worth up to $70--he was so excited about that find! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!

The price and size of the item are all clearly marked down on the tag which is awesome. Price range is $15-$45 for clothes unless it's something like a vintage bulky leatherman jacket would be $60-$80. Furniture are all within the reasonable prices as well. I like this store, but I am a $10 or under thrifter, so this is a spot where I find inspiration and a "go there and look at something I REALLY want for about 100 times until I decided to buy it over $10." spot. lol. If you are not as cheap as me, I think this is a great shop for everyone to find something unique! It's simply a cool, clean and modern thrift shop! Recommended!

Easy parking, great selection, nice staff and manager, good promos, and affordable thrift store prices. I wasn't able to go the past couple of weeks and when I went today, I was surprised by how clothes were priced lile Goodwill. Maxi dresses were mostly $16.99 when they used to be $8-$12. Pants and leggings are now $8.99-$11.99. I gave the same feedback to the cashier but I'm worried this location will soon be pricing all their stuff like Goodwill.

It's always fun to see what's been donated and now for sale. I've been to this location about 5 times since the opening this year. I like how many of the clothes are new with tags. Thanks for being available in Glendale Again. I used to go when the Original Store was on Brand where 85' Bakery now sits. Also went when they moved south on Brand across the street but closed soon after.

First time I called I had a super hard time understanding the employee on the phone. Second time the employee was super sweet and answered my questions. Both leis and experiences were really seamless and didn't have any problems with my order. I went and picked up the leis a day in advance too. Inside you see one of their employees making leis at the table and there's options on the wall to choose from if your walking in. If you are ordering during a busy season, I recommend ordering it asap too. Would come back if I needed to go to any other graduations in the future!

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.
