Cute store! Items are mostly brand things like madewell, Everlane, Levi's etc. It's really nice and since it's all fancy brand clothes so you won't find $2-9 a top, instead you'll get $10-$20 a top to $20-$30 a dress/pants. But that's quality you are getting too so reasonable prices! Just if you are like me... an experienced cheap thrifter, this place is a bit higher price point thrift shop, so I'll have to come check on their clearances to get the best deal. Not a big store, so you have to come back later for more new things too. What I saw is more towards Small (0-6) sizes clothing. I'm a M/L (8-12) depends on the brand, I didn't find too many items in my size. But it's ok I get it, I'm a common size... lol Good luck guys! I'll definitely come back (often) and I do recommend this place! Lovely stuff not just a bunch of weird things! Bet they filtered items before selling which is great.

Pricing here was insanely high in my opinion. A pair of jeans that brand new cost $35 are sold here for $35. The clerk was very pleasant and had a beautiful smile. I was able to show my vax card and go without a mask.

The Left Bank was a fun thrift shop for us to visit with a good mix of vintage items and recognizable, current era brands. I ended up purchasing one vintage piece and one Madewell piece for around $40, so super reasonable prices, too! In addition to clothes, they had accessories and a good selection of jewelry, hair clips, and kitschy home good type items. They do have a couple parking spaces in the back, but those were taken when we stopped by, so we ended up parking a few roads over and walking. Not bad by LA standards!

Ask the Community - The Left Bank

Hello, Are you currently purchasing 80's & 90's women's designer clothing?

Oh no! Im sorry! Yelp doesn’t always alert us when we get a question on this platform. We buy every day via drop off from 10-6! And I would say right now are customers are focused on independent design and always 80’s/90s minimalism! Feel free to DM… Read more

Do you guys allow dogs in the store?

Hi! Our general rule of thumb here is if you trust your dog, we trust your dog. :)

Are you open on mondays?

Yes! Normal hours 11ish to 6ish.

Does this store sell any tommy hilfiguer jeans?

They don't. More levis, bongos, etc. less sports wear brands

Do you have any jeans from Re/Done?

Sometimes. But they go quick. Well typically post on our Instagram @theleftbankla if we get any. But we do get the “originals” vintage Levi’s in here regularly. Haha. :)

Do you buy used clothing? Or is it donation only?

Yes we buy clothing! Typically every day we're open 11:30-5:30!

Do you have something for men too?

Hey! So we have some items that are unisex like vintage tees and jackets. But we mostly stock for women. The whole contemporary and designer section is pretty much exclusively for ladies. Hope this helps! :)

Do you sell clothes and goods for babies and children?

Hi! We typically just sell items for ladies.

Do you guys have a set of left-handed golf clubs? Not the most common question that is asked. I didnt even think about this until my friend bought a set a year ago.

Hey. So sorry. We don't! Also, how are we just seeing this? Sorry for crazy delay.

This was a great thrift store for specific Western, lo-Cal vibes. With a sprinkle of military garb…read more I thought the holdings were pretty sparse. They did have great, authentic silver and turquoise. Service was unenthusiastic.

Raggedy Threads is my favorite vintage store in L.A. - no contest. Don't let this tiny little store…read more- located in a tiny little corner of Little Tokyo - fool you: It's like a treasure trove of rare finds. I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
