We spent the next day removing a 3yd dumpster worth of trash that she left between the garage and cabinets including a used razer. Not even the toilet was cleaned.... Oc residential didn't care.... The property wasn't even inspected prior to owner and property manager contract. We experienced 3 plumbing issues due to non code compliant plumbing, broken AC, Broken heater, hazardous material following from air ducts, massive gapping hole in the wall due to the night before leak never being completed.... Couldn't even fix the microwave ... List went on and on. Before we knew it owner was in over her head due to her unprepared property. We were informed that she wanted to sell the property. We lived there for almost 2 years, it's a good thing I took pictures when we moved in, and when we…read morecleaned and moved out because this company tried to extort money from our deposit by saying that a countertop had a knife mark in it when it was clearly an old counter coming apart at the corner seam, they try to charge for painting and cleaning, even though we detail the hell out of the apartment and took pictures afterwards. Please do yourself a favor and take detailed pictures when you move in and when you move out or they will not only take your deposit but also say you have a balance due to them. Remember that California state law requires them to send a statement with your remaining deposit within 21 days of moving out.
