Bridgeport Marketplace was a spontaneous discovery, but it was honestly the highlight of my day. While driving through Santa Clarita, we noticed a pond and what looked like a lively plaza so we decided to turn in and spontaneously check it out. In this plaza there's a Makenna Koffee, The Flying Yolk, Walgreens, Valley Marketplace, Kabuki, Massage Envy, Mooyah, a California Pizza Kitchen, and more. Honestly none of the actual businesses attracted me, so for that reason I can't give them a higher rating, but I LOVE THE POND. At the glorious pond with a bridge that lured us here, they had ducks and turtles. Best of all, there was a machine where you can buy treats to feed them for a Quarter. Luckily for me, my boyfriend had some quarters and let me indulge in playing with the ducks. It was SO CUTE. They were following us and definitely working for their snack. I like the hustle!! This is SO cute!! I really want to take my niece back here. Not for anything else in the plaza, but specifically to feed the ducks. We'll have to find other activities in Santa Clarita to make our trip worth it. read more

The bridge on this corner of the shopping center is just stunning. It's so beautiful as you drive by. It's very well-maintained, and I see people doing photo shoots with the lighthouse there. Make sure you bring your quarters for the duck food. There are a ton of turtles sunbathing as well. read more

It's a lovely place to relax or walk around even if you aren't here for one of the many restaurants or market. The pond has tiny fish, turtles, and various water birds which migrate back and forth to another man made lake across the street, you'll find duck crossing signs on the surrounding main roads and fish food dispensers to feed the ducks ($.25). read more

Bridgeport Marketplace's was beautiful and relaxing. I loved the landscape. It had a man-made lake with ducks, geese, chicks and more... It was a small mall in a big space filled with locals because of supermarket and pharmacy. All the malls appeared near each other in Santa Clarita. So If you're in the area, this would be a nice browse. read more

This marketplace has some good restaurants, including Kabuki, Sabor, Rustic Burger, CPK, Marston's, if that's your thing. I'm not a huge fan of CPK or Marston's but they are both extremely popular. It also has a yoga studio & some medical offices. But I really only come for two things. We like Kabuki and we love to bring our daughter to feed the ducks & turtles. There is ample parking for all the businesses. The landscaping is beautiful. My daughter loves coming to the pond, although some of those geese are huge and scare the begeezus out of her (and myself, if I'm being totally honest). They can get aggressive at times! They could also clean the area & water a bit more but I guess that's a by-product of nature running it's course. A lot of people have complained about the cleanliness & about the turtles wandering into the street but I've never really seen it happen. Thats not to say it doesn't, but I've just never witnessed it. You can purchase a handful of cheerios from the dispensers for a quarter or bring some from home. They discourage feeding the animals anything but cheerios for obvious reasons. Overall, its a nice way to spend some relaxing time with your kids. We will continue to come back! read more

Ahhhh the joys of having a toddler...he loves nature and simple things - sometimes! My son loves to feed ducks...whether its at lake balboa or here. Everytime we come here, we frequent one of the restaurants in the marketplace then walk around and feed the different ducks, coots amd geese...its really fun! We always bring old bread or cereal. But if you forget, dont worry...there are several quarter machines to purchase cheerio like duck feed. I have to warn you, it can get pretty expensive because your quarter affords approx 15- 20 pieces of cheerios. Another option is to purchase bread at Valley Produce which is a supermarket in the center. Parking is a struggle sometimes so I would suggest coming in between meal hours. Marstons and Kabuki are my favorite Restaurants in the center. read more

This plaza has a good variety, it's home to: Walgreens CPK Sabor Cocina Mexicana Marstons YogaWorks Kabuki Red Mango Valley Produce Market Cardio Girl Massage Envy Day Spa ..and a few other businesses I can't recall. There is a manmade lake/pond where you can be sure to spot ducks. If you dine at CPK, sneak some bread out and take your kiddies or date to go out and feed them. Only drawback is the parking can get pretty packed, but it doesn't hurt anyone to take that spot in the "boonies" and burn a few calories ;) Also, drivers could actually go the speed limit and slow down a bit, so pedestrians consider yourself warned. read more

WHAT'S WITH CLUB MANLY MEN?! I love coming here for dinner on the weekends with my kids. They love feeding the ducks in the lake. But recently there's been a group of manly men smoking cigars all night long right outside the jewelry store and greek place. As long as these guys keep it up I won't be able to bring my children here any longer - I don't want to expose them to the smoke. Normally it wouldn't be so bad, but there's about 6 of them all smoking at once and you can smell it strongly all the way down in the CPK patio. "Would you like some smoke with your dinner sir?" I love this shopping center. The walkways with the ponds are oh so beautiful and there is never a problem parking even with that giant church compound in the back corner. The shops are great and the grocery here is pretty great. Compatible to an Asian market in the valley. Which I love! read more

It was a gorgeous day out so I thought I'd go to Bridgeport for lunch and a photowalk. I had seen the little lake by Kabuki before and wanted to go back and take some pictures. When I went back today, I realized it almost looked like pea soup...that's wrong. Very wrong. They need to do something about that. At least you can't really tell the difference at night. Love all the eateries in that strip mall: Kabuki, Daphne's, Bristol Farms, Red Mango, etc. The neighborhood across the street is gorgeous! The bug problem's a tad unfortunate, but the lake and homes are really charming. read more

This place is another over-rated plaza that is just a waste of time. Occasionally clean (read once every 10 or so visits), although I have seen dead ducks and lifeless turtles in the algae filled, unhealthy water. I know there is a maintenance guy that comes and cleans the pond, but he certainly doesn't do his job good enough, or come all the time since the water stinks and it's basically black. Bird shit everywhere! lol. However, there's a few places that are a must try - Marston's, Sabor Cocina, and Rustic Burger are the few very good places in this area. I rather spend my time at the Valencia Mall, and everyone who lives in Santa Clarita knows the Valencia Mall is a trash hole. read more

I absolutely love this place. However I have to give it one star because the last few times I've come to visit the ducks and turtles here, I've seen some pretty hard up stuff. I was here last weekend and saw a very obvious dead duck that looks like it had been dead for some time. It was incredibly sad. Not to mention, the turtles have no fencing around where the hand out on the dirt and grass, meaning that they can easily walk into traffic. So sad and disappointing that management doesn't do anything to help protect the animals that hang out in the pond. If you can't take care of them, then relocate them! read more

Why is this place called Bridgeport Marketplace when it is located in NORTHBRIDGE???? The Marketplace is located within the boundaries of Northbridge! Perhaps they were cursed when they named it for a place ACROSS the street. No wonder Bristol Farms left after being opened for only 15 months! read more

Bridgeport Marketplace is a cool center. I love the landscape of the area. The bridge around the pond is beautiful. They also have some very nice restaurants and businesses here. Parking is fairly easy to find. I always make it a point to walk around the pond area. You see all kinds of birds which is fun. It is also a great place to take photographs. read more

It's really a mix of restaurants and a.little bit of services but my review is for the duck pond. It is a tranquil place for dates, families after a long day and people walking their dogs on leash. I have been visiting this many times. Lots of turtles that is new addition to the mallard ducks and geese. I didn't see the older geese. YOU Can Purchase Duck FOR 25 Cents. But they should use that money for upkeep of the lake, which the sides are noticiabley dirty. They should upgrade the filters for stronger suction to clean those debris, left over food and trash. The bridge is beautiful and they offer seats to you can enjoy the view. The lack of playground, it compensate with this balance of metal, wood,flora and fauna. Nice touch ! read more

This place has almost everything you need. Restaurants galore. I wish the east end of the complex would get a quality restaurant of retail store that stay in business. In this center you will find;California Pizza Kitchen CPK-Cardio girl-Kabuki YUM-Yogaworks-Valley Produce Market-Marstone's Restaurant-Rustic burger-Walgreens-Massage Envy Spa-Salon Glō-Sabor Cocina Mexicana. One night they had a food truck night and it was alot of fun. The trucks were packed with huge lines but it was a success. read more

The turtles are are always escaping into the traffic. I have stopped traffic and rescued THREE of them and put them back in the pond... One little guy's shell was cracked open from being hit. This is animal cruelty, these turtles should be relocated if they cant be properly cared for... or have a barrier fence put up. Unacceptable & SAD!! I will not shop or eat here until this is fixed. read more

Nice place to eat and watch the scenery but nothing more than that. Most of the restaurants here are very good. I feel like a place like this needs some sort of an excitement and would love to see a place where you can spend time on an activity like those boat rides. It's feels like someone had a great idea with the man made pond but didn't think it all the way through. I have seen other ponds like this where they offer boat rides. read more
