I think my first concert was here but we got so high on the way down I only remember two songs from the opener and none of the trip. This most recent visit was Friday. They wouldn't let my wife bring in her purse. However they let someone bring in a larger one right before her. So she drew attention to this. They didn't care. She had to go buy a $10 clear bag. This really wouldn't have been an issue if it wasn't so inconsistent. Also like I know you can charge whatever you want for food and drink cuz it's your venue and all but should you?! Anyway lawn tickets aren't really worth it. It's like hey you sit outside and watch other people attend a concert.

Last time we were on the video board side also in the corner upper rows. Directly opposite of where we sat last night. Both areas had great views of the field and for the most part we were able to watch the game without issues. When people and their kids were constantly getting up to let others through or kids just bored talking loud, playing loud videos, or moving around the stands without parents being parents, then there were problems which were at times difficult to deal with. Another issue which I did not even think to consider is that where we were, and having the river behind us, is that there were numerous flies making things irritating. Parking is in numerous lots throughout the area and all are cashless, so buy your pass before and get the code emailed to you to be scanned by the attendants. Police are plentiful directing traffic before and after the game. Subaru Park holds 20,000. There's plenty of bathrooms, multiple food stands (average food at high prices), and if you don't mind 24/7 cheering, the Sons of Ben section almost next to us will make you wonder how many sore throats there are the day after games. Some sections have signage specifically stating that they are standing allowed sections. The Sons of Ben sections also have signs saying you can expect to stand the whole game. Overall, we had a great time and are 2-0 with Union wins both games we attended. When we come back again, we'll be shooting for the video board side for our seats. No flies, less kids, not as much noise from the Sons of Ben (sorry, everyone) and less windy! Go Union! Ba-ba-baba-ba-ba-ba-ba....Heeeeeeyyy You! For about 20 minutes straight....

I like that this stadium was designed for soccer matches rather than sharing with other sports. It's not overwhelming, easy to get to the vendors you want, the bathrooms are clean, no roof, and you can see everything happening on the pitch without looking up at the screen. The river/bridge is right behind one side with a nice view from behind the opposing team's supporter section. The parking lot can use some work but I'm sure that will come in time.

Room for improvement…read more Let's start with the bad. 1) Even with prepaid parking it is a shitshow. They didn't have parking availability at the event so I opted to park across the street in the Citizens Bank Parking Lot. The individuals who are directing traffic and letting you in do not do a great job. They were waving me to go around when that was not correct at all, luckily I pulled a U turn and had my car half way in the lot when he said pull in. He was legit trying to get me lost after I paid for reserve parking in that designated lot. 2)Went to Chickie's and Pete's ordered one basket of tenders with fries, another order of fries, and three cokes. Bill came to $78, when I asked for a breakdown, the cashier gave me a look like I had three heads and said they don't do that and handed my a receipt just with the total charge on it. The Venue itself presents well, and we had seats in section 113 center which made my first WWE event a very pleasurable experience. Now should I mention that three tickets at this level total almost $1,000? A very expensive night out to go to most events at the Xfinity Mobile Area. You do have Xfinity Live! within a few blocks with big screens and good eats, I would probably opt to watch events at Xfinity Live instead but if you're jonesing to see the event in person be sure to save up for the event. Palestra sounds like something from the mind of Big Pharma but in my humble opinion, there's not a…read morebetter place to watch basketball than the claustrophobic confines of The Palestra located on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Opened in 1927, this ancient edifice (Greek for gymnasium) has cramped seating, narrow corridors and water closets that belong to the first half of the 20th Century. Is the brownish color scheme actual paint or the burnt-in nicotine stains from countless Depression-era Chesterfields? Who cares, the place wears it's scars and decrepitude well and is my favorite place to catch some hoops. Maybe the lack of amenities and strict focus on the game at hand that makes it a treat to explore this husk of a building untouched by modernity. Given the absence of amenities it's clear that the crowd is here for the game - definitely my kind of crowd. So talk to your doctor and see if Palestra might be right for you. Here's to another 97 years. Five stars with conviction.

They have several parking lots, so it would be helpful if they provided information showing the best lot and entrance to use based on your seating section. That could prevent people from having to walk alllllllll the way around that huuuge field! Most of the workers were nice and engaging and of course some overdue their job. Since it is an outdoor stadium, thunderstorms can definitely put a damper on an event until the weather clears. I understand that delays are necessary for everyone's safety, but maybe it's time to consider adding a retractable dome! Overall, I still enjoyed the concert and had an AMAAAAAAZING time!!!!

Of course, then I remember that I stunk at roller skating and spent most of my time holding onto the wall or picking myself up after falling on my butt again. Unfortunately, not as many kids want to fall on their butt for hours at a time while skating in a circle so Skater's Choice - as it used to be known - had to evolve. It is now called Choice Inline Arena. The space that used to be the roller rink now houses a basketball/futsal court on one end and the home of Jersey Pride Cheer and Tumble on the other end. Sharing the entrance is what is called Court 3 - which is a full-sized roller hockey rink complete with locker rooms and everything. In the last few years, I have only visited this facility to watch my kids play futsal. It is the home of South Jersey Futsal - which is run by Don D'Ambra. Don D'Ambra is a Philly guy who played soccer at St. Joes and later was the player/coach for the Philadelphia Kixx. He is currently head coach at St. Joes. For those that don't know - futsal is a type of soccer that is played 5v5 with a smaller ball that is 30% heavier than a regular soccer ball to limit bouncing. It is a fast paced and fun winter game that is played on a court the size of a basketball court. The facility is fine for futsal - although the amenities are a little lacking. The roof ocassionally leaks when there is a lot of ice, rain, or condensation. There is limited seating courtside that is only accessible through a very narrow walkway that may or may not be handicapped accessible. The snack bar is limited and the bathrooms serve double duty as the locker rooms for the roller hockey rink and are as smelly as you might imagine. The parking is very limited and you may need to park in the lot next door. It is great to have facilities like this available for our kids to pursue the sports they love. Come here with the appropriate expectations and you will be OK - but I guarantee your kids will be tired and happy and that is the more important thing.

The TNT track club had 2 qualifiers running and it was a well ran meet. Thursday through Sunday watching the best track and field athletes compete was wonderful. Franklin field will always be one of my favorite tracks ! Facilities are top notch they just need to work on attitudes with some of their staff members as they like tend to forget the athletes, coaches and spectators are how they are getting paid. Kindness goes along way .
