Only place close to home that I can legally ride my dirtbike. I've been coming here for about three years now and it's under new management. They can be tricky regarding waivers and riding when it comes to minors. I know it is a liability but you literally need to get a form notarized before being able to ride. Once inside raceway park it can be tricky to navigate and know where you're going. There are no signs telling you where or what tracks to go to. (there are multiple) Track is always groomed well but it can get very muddy. With all the money this place makes all they have is porter potty's that are gross and hot inside. I really can't complain due to the fact this is the only track close to my home but they can definitely brush up on some loose ends. read more

I've been here several times, but not for any racing event. I've been here for Tough Mudder! This place is awesome for the Mudder events and has plenty of space. Drag Racing, motocross, and all kinds of fun await you here. The place loses a star for the absolutely lousy bathrooms...but maybe that was because of the Mudders AFTER completing the course. If I lived a little closer, maybe I'd take a trip here for some vehicle racing fun. read more

The road race track they have there is in need of some serious repair. It is riddled with potholes, bumps and huge cracks on the racing surface. It's very unsafe. That said, if you are looking for a reason to justify that pretty new set of wheels to your wife... go do a track day here. You will surely crack at least one wheel so then you can get those new wheels you have been eyeing up. :-) read more

I've been coming here since the 80s with my father. I look forward to the NHRA race every year and occasionally I will bring my car to the 1/8mi track to race it. I prefer this track to Maple Grove or Gainesville. They do very well with fitting in cars considering how many houses have been built around the track. read more

This is more just like a HUGE area for particular events. I came here to watch Tough Mudder and it was a great spot to host the 10,000 people who were there to sprint through mud, climb over wires, jump into icy water, and run for miles after a monster truck. Parking was plentiful, the bathrooms had long lines (yet were clean!) but the waits were never long, and the space was just plain plentiful. read more

I came here for DragMania 2011 drag racing and concert. There a few race tracks and dirt bike tracks... Looks like a great spot to bring car fanatics. I was looking over their schedule and there are tons of family friendly events. Parking is pricey!! read more

I ran the Battlefrog obstacle race here and it was an awesome experience. The grounds are huge here and the parking lot as well. I didnt see any races here but now I will surely keep an eye out for racing events here to catch one. Hooyah! read more

Raceway park aka Englishtown has some great racing. The venue is very nice and the food here isn't too bad for a race track. It can be quite windy and chilly in the stands earlier and later in the season and you definitely want sunblock all year round! Be careful with your car when parking it. There are often breakins and thefts that occur in the parking lot. Bringing ear protection can also be a good idea! read more

This review is for GT dream Cars only... I purchased a Groupon for the driving experience and for the most part it was a good one. The three lap driving experience in a Ferrari was something my husband greatly enjoyed. The only real downside was the fact that the mph are limited. Now this is where the star deduction came into play; the website states the mph limit is 100, yet the gentleman at the park stated it was 75mph. That is a big difference in experience and feel of a ride. Most people go faster on the parkway. Huge disappointment aside, I would have appreciated a bit more organization on keeping with appointment times. It seems that once you are taken to the track, whoever steps up first is taken first, regardless of scheduled time. Not really fair when you have someone scheduled after you already driving the car and you still have six people in front of you, before it's your turn. All in all it was a great experience. We paid the $10 spectator fee and got to stand on the grass beside the racetrack, which was really cool. read more

This review is for GT Dream Cars and not Raceway Park in general. When I finally arrived on time at the site, (the directions were incomplete, misleading, and in some cases wrong) I was immediately concerned with the makeshift appearance of the entire operation. The check-in tent was not anchored and gusts of wind almost blew it over several times and there was a 200 foot extension cord running on the ground to the 'pit area'. After waiting in the check-in line for 30 minutes, I was told that the car I had reserved was not available and the representative actually asked if I wanted to re-schedule. I of course said no and asked what other cars were available. I made my selection then she said there would be about an hour wait before my turn. I pointed out that my 'appointment' was 12:00 and it was now 12:15. After waiting over an hour, (where I repeatedly observed that spectators were not kept out of the pit area which is a serious safety concern) my time came and I got in a car (not even my second choice, but I opted to drive my third choice instead of waiting another 30 minutes) The instructor said to go and I did. I was almost immediately 50 feet behind the previous car that had left the pits. I spent the entire first lap 'cruising' behind the person in front of me. I asked if I could pass and was told no. I then asked if I could pull over and wait for the slower driver to move further along the track. I was also told no. I asked if I could have an additional lap to compensate for the mistake make by the instructor in telling me to start too soon after the previous car, I again was told no. My experience was not even close to what it should have been and I voiced my dissatisfaction to the instructor and received nothing in return. While maintenance issues with cars are understandable, improperly trained customer service representatives and driving instructors and makeshift facilities with significant safety concerns are not. The operation and services are seriously deficient and I would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I came here for GT Dream Cars for what they advertised as the "Ultimate Driving Experience" or UDS. The UDS, in a nutshell, is that you get to take three laps around a racetrack in a Lambo, Bentley, or an Aston Martin. I chose the Lambo, of course. Pros: 1. I got to drive a Lamborghini. 2. The driving instructor was friendly. Cons: 1. The process of making a reservation was a nightmare. I went through Groupon, but they immediately hand you off to GT Dream Cars to schedule your UDS. You can either call or email GT Dream Cars to schedule your reservation. Good luck trying to get them by phone. No one is ever in the office and the outgoing voice message gives no indication that you are calling an actual business. It felt more like I was calling someone's grandma who didn't know how to set her voicemail system up. Email wasn't much better. Call me sensitive, but the tone of the email was always abrupt and left me feeling confused as to whether or not my reservation was complete. I had to follow up with them several time (via email) to make sure everything was a go. 2. Let's just say Groupon made the track sound a lot more fantastic than it actually was. I remember driving up to the parking area thinking, "This can't be it." Oh, but it was. It looked like something post WWII Germany. Ok... maybe it wasn't that bad, but the track definitely needed a facelift. 3. I remembered reading something in the Groupon Ad about a lounge area where my family and I could buy lunch on-site. Well, the lounge area was (and I'm not exaggerating) a tool shed with a few chairs, tables, and a flat screen tv in it. There was no lunch. 4. There was a safety briefing... sorry, I mean a little black man/the owner yelling at all the participants not to floor it around the track. That was interesting. 5. Make sure you bring a stopwatch with you if you want to take pictures. The little black man is timing you. I got one-minute before he started shoeing my family away behind the yellow line like cattle. 6. The Groupon ad advertised speeds of 202 mph. The 1,400 straightaway might get you to 60-65 mph tops. From the initial reservation to registration to actually driving the car, it was completely unorganized. It was as if they threw this operation together the night before. To be a little bit fair, it was a cool experience driving a Lamborghini. Unfortunately, the piss poor customer service and lack of organization overshadowed that. That being said, I would recommend that everyone drive one of these cars in their lifetime... just not through GT Dream Cars. read more

Variety of cars depending on the event, a few racetracks - looking forward to seeing some motor cross type of events ( they have a nice dirt bike track being built next to the race traks ). Overall place is interesting - parking is ample but a bit overpriced for certain type of low budget events. Overall place is kind of dilapidated too but it adds to its old charm feel for car enthusiasts - you'll see lots of interesting people to say the least. Ok place to spend a portion of your afternoon but not something I would frequent. read more

It was hot sunny day and fans were rolling, free water was passed out to customers and their observers. Several people there, wait time wasn't long under a tent (under 10 minutes before going to another tent by the racetrack). EMS was onsite and waiting, all staff including Chris was was polite and helpful. My husband enjoyed his ride in the Lambo!!! Can some things be improved, yes but for a new company, they seem to be well on their way. If given the chance, we will return. read more

HORRIBLE. They host a fall national event while there was rain for the past 5 days. Gates open at 8am, i pay 25$ to get in at 930. My friend pays 30$ to get in and park show. They let everyone sot around and wait while they "dry" the track. The first race didnt go on until after 2:30. So we continue to wait until its time for someone i know to race. I watched maybe 10 races. It starts to rain and ofcoarse the announcers are QUIET. After 20 minutes of rain they announe all events are cancelled. My friend did not get to race which was the main purpose on multiple people going obviously to see there friends and family race. They DID NOT refund spectators or anyone who got one pass to race. This place is rediculous and money hungry. I will never waste my money there again. read more

If you have never attended a motorsports event, whether it be drag racing, motocross, or go-carts, then this is "The Place" to visit. Beyond a doubt, E-TOWN as we call it, is the premier dragstrip in the NHRA organization. Quarter mile racing is featured on Wed, Fri, Sat, & Sun. Also taking place on Sunday is eighth mile racing for JR Dragsters ( kids between the ages of 8-16) which is contested at the far end of the quarter mile track. The adjoining Motocross track is also open on Sun. as well as Go-Cart competition on the same grounds. For over forty years Raceway Park has provided their spectators, hard core fans, and the racers who compete there with some of the most fun and top shelf motorsports entertainment available anywhere on the planet!
