I had exceptional care here during my heart loop monitor procedure. (Also known as an ILR). I had the newer (bigger & longer) Abbott version inserted... so not only did I have my heart Dr & dedicated nurse the whole time, there was also 2 Abbott Lab medical reps & even an additional medical staff member during most of the procedure. They handled my ridiculous level of allergies & autoimmune challenges fabulously & because of the perfection of all involved- I healed quickly & fully... flying out on a family trip just a week later. Now my insur is fighting on paying the bill, but that's the jerk insur co, not this fab hospital. I'd absolutely go here again if needed!

My nurse (young male, sorry blanking on his name) was great and had a really nice, bedside manner, who was quick to pick up on my personality and matched it perfectly. When asked when the nurse would be out to give me the pain med, after another hour, was told by the nonchalant male PA "I told the nurse when they get a moment they would be out." REALLY???? Well, I finally got my pain shot. Nurse said it would have been soon but the computer said I was discharged. Gee, that wouldn't have happened if they would have looked me up when I first asked how much longer. Totally disorganized and completely UNACCEPTABLE. Nurses and PAs walk around with no sense of urgency. Extremely rude.!!! No compassion!!! No sense of humanity. NEVER, EVER AGAIN. Their attitude was what made everything such a frustrating experience.

So, it was nice to have a 5 minute drive to my appointment since this office is down the road from me. The receptionist here is so nice! The downtown location should take a couple lessons from the Eagle location. The receptionist smiled at me. She was kind asking me my general check in questions. She had personality. These basic skills are lacked in 90% of the people who work in registration downtown. If I can have all my appointments here, I would. I hung out in the waiting area till it was my turn. Zach, the imaging tech called me back to the scanning room. He went through the process of the scan with me and guided on how my properly lay on the scan machine. He had me position my legs differently for a couple scans. And before I knew it, I was done. It was quite an easy process which was nice. My other appointments require getting poked at. The Eagle office is night and day compared to Downtown. They are so nice here. It's a smaller facility with an Urgent Care unit which is nice for non emergency visits. It bums me out that I have to deal with the rude receptionists and security check in staff when I'm Downtown. But it was nice to see how the other half are treated at this location. I will have to get more appointments fulfilled here. I leave happy which is nice.

I came to this location last year for my flu shot as well, and both times were very easy. They already had my records and my insurance was current. They did not have to collect a co-pay so check-in was a breeze. There was two other people waiting and they were called back quickly. I waited about 7-8 minutes. The waiting room is a very typical set-up. Uncomfortable (but nice and wide) chairs, a random cooking show on the TV and an assortment of magazines. My oldest kiddo accompanied me (for hand holding during the shot, of course) and she was pretty jazzed about the double water fountain. So there you go. A very nice nurse took me in back and the whole thing lasted about 30 seconds! :) I prefer to get my flu shot from a nurse, rather than at the pharmacy and I've had great experiences at PH!

My migraines have been out of control lately so two weeks ago I made a couple urgent mobile health appointments. 1: I just got a call today, the day before my appointment, that they don't do migraine infusions at home. Even though it clearly states they do it on their website. I made the appointment two weeks ago. I even called them last week to let them know I have two insurances and gave them that information. So the fact that they waited until the day before to cancel my appointments is so frustrating on multiple levels. 2: They need to stop calling themselves 'urgent' medicine. They are not urgent. Their appointments are at least a week out if not 1.5-2 weeks out. I'm really upset by this experience. Especially when I was counting on those migraine infusions which I need in between my infusions I get at the hospital. Horrible business ethics.

I have never had an issue with taking my child to a doctor's appointment until today. they would not allow my 9 YEAR old( very well behaved just playing his video game) to wait in the lobby (or come back with me) while I got an ultrasound of my breast for a mass that was found during a mammogram. I am very anxious, obviously, to know the results so instead of waiting for them to call me, I called them to schedule the earliest appointment available. I got myself and my child up at 7 am for a 8:15 appointment. When I arrived, the front desk person did not greet me kindly. She had a frown on her face and very rudely said I can't have a child under 18 in the lobby unless I have someone to sit with him. This basically forced me to cancel my appointment. NONE of the staff(including the manager) could even use BASIC customer service skilla, like I am so sorry, etc... So now here I am having to wait anxiously until I can get into another appointment and WAIT to see if I have e breast cancer. Shame on you St. Luke's for treating Mothers like this!!!!!! This is supposed to be a clinic to care for WOME but you FAILED MISERABLY! I will never go back or recommend St. Luke's to anyone. Learn how to treat mothers!!!!!!

I later saw that my insurance was billed for services that didn't occur. This happened twice, a few days apart. Again, no physical assessment of any kind. I urge anyone who's been treated here to carefully review their medical records and billing statements. If others have had similar experiences, I'd be interested in connecting.
