If I want they can fix it but it costs $2950 but to remove it costs $380 they gave me a 3 point calculation. 1 extraction, erupted tooth requiring removal of bone and/or sectioning of tooth, and including elevation of mucoperiosteal flap if indicated. = $380 2 bone replacement graft for ridge preservation - per site. $547 3. guided tissue regeneration, edentulous area - resorbable barrier, per site = $270. After that I was in a lot of pain for another week. And I chose only number 1 to remove it. meaning to pay only $380. I don't need the 2 points. Because it costs me a lot. I was in pain for another week, I called them to come and have it removed and they told me to go to another clinic, they didn't want to remove it. They said I had an infection, what they were doing was not right. They manipulate people's minds to get money out of people. But if the person has nowhere to pay and decides on the cheapest option, they don't do anything.

Short: Dr Trejo and the team at the Eagle location are absolutely wonderful and incredibly ethical. Call Now. Long: It was the Thursday before Memorial day weekend and I had been preparing a veggie tray for a party. I had heard one odd crunch but, ya know carrots, whatever. Until it was time for bed. I brushed and had an increasing ache. I thought for sure I must have cracked a tooth! I was in a near panic. I might have to wait until Monday? Would I get an infection? Lose a tooth? I found a place in town that opened at 6:30AM and you can bet I was there - only to find out the DR wouldn't be taking appointments until 1:30PM, MAYBE I could get looked at today but I was told "The next appointment to TRY to fix it would be June 22!?" "Try?" People go a month with a cracked tooth? All I could think was that would be an infection for sure! In a panic I went home and started calling everyone - then (and I wish I knew her name!) a lovely admin at the Emerald location said they were closed but there was an appointment at the Eagle location in an hour. She said she would call and tell them I was on my way and would likely be late (Now I know everyone says it's "only 45 min to Boise" but apparently I drive slow? ) Can I tell you these people are the NICEST, like Trader Joe's nice! Every last one of them, from the lady who saw me at the wrong door, let me in and walked me through the office because the back door is in the front (What?! LOL! Don't whip in and park closest to Eagle like I did, go past there then around to the left.) The ladies in the waiting room to the hygienist who took my x rays and got me settled in. Everyone was so upbeat and friendly. Then I met Dr Trejo. He was incredibly kind. And it was at that moment that I learned you can BRUISE a tooth. Did you know that? Is this common knowledge? Sure, logical, teeth have nerves too but I struggled to believe him, LOL! Don't tell him but I googled it in the car, I really thought maybe he was just trying to help me not feel dumb. Of course I was equally relieved and so embarrassed. (Again, it's me feeling dumb all on my own they were so very kind) I happily paid that $150 thanking my lucky stars because how much is a crown? Sure enough it ached for the next day or two but it's fine now. Also, I should mention if you do not have dental insurance they have a $33 a month plan and it does give an additional 20% off any additional work. So, I hope you are reading this long version as you wait for your (actually pleasant) appointment and may you be as lucky as I was!

I had a really terrible experience at White Pine Dental. I went in to get a temporary crown done,…read moreand during the procedure they drilled so deep that my nerve ended up exposed. The pain afterward was honestly the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. I called them multiple times trying to get back in to have it fixed, but they couldn't get me in soon enough to actually help me. I ended up having to go to an emergency dentist because the pain was unbearable, and the only option at that point was to pull the tooth. So the permanent crown I had already paid for ended up being completely useless. At first I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was just an unfortunate accident, because mistakes can happen. But then I went back later for a couple fillings and had another issue, this time with billing. Their billing department told me my insurance still had coverage available and that I wouldn't have to pay a huge amount out of pocket. I paid what they told me at the time, only to later be contacted and told they were wrong and that my insurance had already been maxed out. Now I'm being told I owe almost another $200. If I had known my insurance was already maxed, I would have waited to get the work done until it would actually be covered like 2 months later with the new year.Being given the wrong information and then stuck with the bill later is really frustrating. Between the dental work issue and the billing problems, this has been a very disappointing experience so I got a new dentist this year.

That alone meant everything. From the moment I walked in, Mikayla at the front desk was happy, smiling, and so kind. Paperwork was quick and easy, and she was incredibly understanding--especially since I was a little out of it from barely sleeping due to the pain all night and morning. Juan took care of me before I saw Dr. Williams, and he was professional, kind, efficient, and straight to the point. He made sure I was taken care of quickly and comfortably. And Dr. Williams is truly a GEM. I didn't feel a thing when he numbed the area, and before I knew it--he went in, pulled the tooth, and was done. No dragging it out, no unnecessary stress. He was funny, calming, and extremely understanding of how nervous and exhausted I was from the pain. What stood out the most was how effortless the entire experience felt. No chaos. No obstacles. No jumping through hoops. Just done and done. I'm absolutely switching over to this location--it's the service that truly counts. I'm so thankful, now recovering, and honestly looking forward to my follow-up because I can't wait to thank the staff (with goodies, of course). Also--check them out! I've had one visit and the people were very friendly. The front desk and getting checked in was a very good experience and she was quite lovely. I felt I got good care although I felt I did need to advocate for myself on a few minor things. I didn't want them polishing my teeth before the hygienist had completed her scaling. It is not a good practice to polish teeth before all the plaque has been removed. They have quite a few staff members that do different things. They have two hygienist and then they have assistance that do the polishing. You can request having one person do the scaling and the polishing, but they can only accommodate that on certain days due to the lack of staffing?? So for my next visit, I will have one person do it all. They were quite accommodating. I think I'm scheduled with a different dentist for my next visit. I think I will see her and see how I like her. She is newer in her career, but I feel I might like to give her a shot. The jury is still out for me. I'll update in 6 months.
