A small cafe with a view of main street seems to be a fav of the locals. The orders are taken at the counter coffee bar style. There is a chalk menu and paper menu for table dining. My only desire was for a brewed coffee, the chocolate chip cookies three feet from my face were too tempting to resist..nice play guys. The brewed coffee is in air pots which I rarely find desirable and this place was no exception as the roast seemed ideal, it was not anywhere close to a serving temperature. So be it, all coffee is good coffee when the craving hits. The cookie? Hmm decent not outstanding. read more

My significant other and I stopped by on a Saturday morning we are from 5 hours away and was in town for a concert. Unfortunately we had just missed the breakfast that ended at 11am, but it actually was a good thing. We ordered the Blazin Burger with bacon & Chicken bacon sandwiches. We were blown away by how delicious the food was!! Highly recommend - will be stopping by the next chance we get! Great service and the place is cute and very clean! read more

Very disappointed. Stopped in August 13. Three people behind the counter but not one of them waited on us. We sat and sat but no service. They didn't seem to see us even though we were right in the main cafe area! Don't know what the problem was. read more

Small cafe on South Main Street in Zumbrota (just a little off Highway 52), well worth a stop for some awesome breakfast! Just meander in and step up to the counter and place your order. They have goodies next to the counter (the pies and donuts looked fantastic!). Coffee mugs given and you pour your own from the big pump thermos. I loved my breakfast! read more

I brought my Mom to Zumbrota for lunch. We drove down from Farmington. We loved the taco salads we got, and the coffee was great!

We were headed to Rochester from Minneapolis. Stopped here for lunch. Terrific! BLTs and Chicken Salad sandwiches were yummy. Pie selection makes it hard to pick just one. Friendly warm atmosphere. Not far from highway. Well worth the trip! read more

We met our son and daughter-in-law at Bridget's Cafe on a Saturday morning, the restaurant was bright and clean. We didn't have to wait to get a table. Staff were friendly and courteous. We ordered at the counter and our food was delivered within 15 minutes. It was simply delicious, served warm and looked appealing. I had the veggie omelette with whole wheat bread...the bread was amazing. My husband had the skillet and loved it. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bridget! read more

Very nice "cafe" atmosphere. It is strange how they have you order at the counter and have a seat, and yet the menu's are on the table. I ordered tea - was impressed they had a small but quality selection. The water was barely lukewarm so returned it and asked for hotter water. The water was again only lukewarm so I drank it and was miserable. If the woman at the counter had checked back with me I would have been honest with her but frankly, I don't think it was important to her. I would not return here for beverages for sure - might check out the food - maybe. read more

Tiny neighborhood diner that feels like a coffee shop because of the warmth of the colors inside along with the service. I am not normally a huge coffee drinker because I am quite sensitive to it's effects. The coffee is a Hawaiian Island in a cup.. It's their house coffee and it's delicious! It has a slightly sweet cinnamon flavor and it's a dark roast. Yum! I am not a huge pancake fan but WOW... I have to say their is a depth of flavor to the pancakes which are delicious even without syrup! Bonus! There is no sodium nitrate in the sausage or bacon... Huge Plus for me since I love breakfast meats and am hugely allergic to these preservatives. No migraine today! I will definitely be back. read more

My friend and I both had the special of the day: Chicken Salad on a Croissant with a choice of Loaded Baked Potato or Beer Cheese Soup (we had the former). Both were delicious and the price was very reasonable. Then we shared a piece of deep dish apple pie and a cup of coffee. They split the pie for us. While it would have been better slightly warmed, it was still quite good, with an excellent flaky crust. $3.50 for a piece of pie is tough to beat! The coffee was also good and we enjoyed the small town atmosphere. I would definitely go back! read more

Probably the most so delicious breakfast I have found so far after moving back to the area. My son gets a half order of french toast, which is very unique and not something I have figured out to make at home yet. It is uber delicious! I love omelettes, and theirs are superb! It tastes like they use eggs fresh from the farm and the other toppings taste equally as fresh. The toast is amazing as well. If it's not baked fresh there...it's homemade somewhere! I love the omelettes but would go just for the toast alone. I also picked a lunch special one day on my way to work. I called and Bridget told me the special was a raspberry wrap (of some sort, I didn't ask for details) with a choice of soup. I thought hmmm, that sounds different and said I would take one tho go. Bridget told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was ready when I got there. I was a little surprised by the price of $9 and some change since the breakfast I consider to be fairly cheap, but my fault for not asking when I called to place my order. It was well worth the money though. Super delicious, the raspberry was the dressing/sauce on the chicken in the wrap. I was pleasantly surprised with how fabulous this special was considering my first thought was...sounds different. If you haven't tried out Bridget's and you are on the area, you should definitely check it out! read more

We were here recently and I would love to have a great local coffee shop (especially with great baked goods) but unfortunately, the scones were incredibly dry! So disappointing. My husband has had a few of the other meal options for breakfast and says they are average. I have had the chai tea there a few times and it is okay, a little too sweet but not bad. Would love if they had a smaller menu with higher quality and if they added better scones. The muffins looked good so I may go back and try one at some point! read more

Good food, friendly and helpful staff, seating can be tight, but not unreasonable. Another reviewer was put off by having to go to the counter, but it didn't bother us. Here's what you do: Walk in, order, pay, and grab your silverware at counter and they bring the food to your table. It's a small town cafe with small town manners--refreshing! read more

Bridgets always has a unique menu selection, good home cooked style meals. Their wrap sandwiches are tasty and they have the best hamburgers in Zumbrota! If you want to splurge, the pies and deserts are made from scratch and very good. We buy pies to go, for our family holidays. I highly recommend Bridget's Cafe. read more

Great atmosphere, and everything that comes out if the kitchen has that extra bit if oomph that makes it memorable. Superb sandwiches with old fashioned grilled buns are iversized, and the homemade bakery is very fresh and pleasing. Not a fan. Food is just ok. Atmosphere is loud and uninteresting. Restaurant is self-serve but not intuitive so expect to be getting up for silver, napkins, or whatever else you may need. Staff is either uninterested or very rude. Not at all impressed but will give them two stars for being open 2 of the 3 times we went and for having relatively clean restrooms. read more

We stopped at Bridget's because of the reviews. Upon arrival, we were informed they were out of hamburger. When we were looking at the menu, they started mopping the floor!! It was only 1:45. Nothing spoils the appetite more than the smell of Lysol! Needless to say, we didn't stay. read more

Visited this cafe yesterday, I am blown away. If you are a breakfast lover and love the warm and inviting atmospher this is worth the trip to Zumbrota. The pancakes are beyond heaven. Stopped in with some friends a couple of years ago. I had to write this review because I still remember how yummy their food was. I told the waitress it was the best burger I'd ever eaten. (I've eaten plenty.) I live in the Twin Cities, so this was the only time I've been to the cafe. I hope its still as amazing as I remember. read more
