I reached out to Rowan & Dough for a very important and personal event. After our initial consult, the chef agreed to take the booking and promised to send a menu after a couple of other events. Weeks went by with no communication. I reached out--no response. When she finally replied, she assured me I'd have the menu in a few days, which gave me hope. Unfortunately, she completely ghosted me after that, leaving me with no time or options. This wasn't just any dinner. I had family flying in, and the experience was meant to be deeply meaningful because I suffer from severe dysphagia. The plan was a 6-course liquid meal so my guests could understand my journey. She knew how important this was and had multiple opportunities to let me know if she couldn't fulfill the booking. Instead, I was left scrambling and heartbroken. Our experience with Natalie was nothing short of amazing!! Truly one of the best meals I have ever had!! The starter salad was so delicious and with a little kick to it which I never thought a spicy salad would be good! It was sooooo good! Our steak dinner on a bed of root vegetable hash with rosemary chimichurri was mouth watering, hands down the best steak we have ever eaten! She came with her own cooking stuff and serving dishes and utensils! Her cooking and food to table time was impeccable and had everything cleaned and back to normal before leaving. As a plus, she is good with dogs! we would HIGHLY recommend booking her cause I know we will again! Chef Natalie came to our home and prepared a 5 course tasting meal for our party of 4. She arrived on time and prepared and served our meal per our pre-arranged menu.
