Ryan Park is a scenic 20-acre waterfront public park in Foster City featuring paved trails, a tranquil lagoon, and community recreational facilities. The VIBE and SCENERY is a 10/10. It has paved wide paths and boardwalks offer wide views of the calm lagoon and passing water fowl. The CLEANLINESS is a 10/10. The bermuda grass is well maintained and trimmed to perfection. Flowers are great. The park features an outdoor amphitheater, a scenic lakefront gazebo, and a Recreation Center. Overall, this is a lovely park to go on a stroll or for a run. I highly recommend it.

Okay now the real talk, because this park is so amazing, parking fills up quickly. Many families come out here for BBQs and to just have their kids play on the playground or in the water. There is a ranger station onsite, they come out once and a while to check on the area. Heck they even manage the water via boat, we were told that we had kayaked into a private waters? We didn't know? Oh well! Despite some challenges, we are in love with this park. It's truly a gem. It's all free, you bring what you need to have fun.

There are reservable picnic sites scattered around the park and I believe one large sheltered onr as well. We've hosted and attended parties at these locations and its always worked out.

There was a play area here, along with a good sized picnic/BBQ area that's covered. The restrooms were really clean, which is a great sign for a park. It also has a set of bucket swings and 2 sets of regular swings. There is a walking path around the play structure and benches to sit on. I like that the park is away from the street. It is not fenced in though.
