I chose Ava flowers for an east Bridgewater delivery it sure what florist they used but it was suppose to be for the same day. Paid $30 service fee really ??? What kind of business is this??? Terrible!!!! The flowers still haven't been delivered I'm so embarrassed as to what is going to be delivered when it happens. not sure if Teleflora or Bridgewater florist is to blame, but ordered a succulent bouquet through Teleflora who contracted it out to Bridgewater Florist , for a wake (with a 18.99 delivery fee) and received a bouquet that looks like it would have cost me $11.99 at Shaws. Very embarrassed at the results which had my name on the card! and disappointed that there was absolutely NO communication regarding the substitutions that looked NOTHING like I ordered. ordered a $75 bouquet for my wife, 15th anniversary gift through FTD. FTD sent to Bridgewater Florist. when they were delivered, a $20 delivery fee, they were crushed, wilted and not in the correct vase nor was it even close to the photo of the bouquet I ordered. my wife was disappointed and called the florist....a few times because the phone just rang and rang. when a man finally picked up, my wife said he sounded like someone who did not work there but picked up a ringing phone. after she explained her disappointment , he said they would send another the next day. I also called FTD just in case. they gave me a $22 refund and sent my complaint to the florist. nothing was delivered the next day. this AM I called and spoke with "Wendy". apparently the manager. I explained that we were quite disappointed in the arrangement, the delivery and lack of follow through. all she could say was that I got my refund...and as far as they were concerned, that was that. I asked her to reconsider and also explained the refund I got was for the delivery charge, not the bouquet.....which was not what I ordered. she lied and said it was and then I explained what was missing specifically and she said nothing. then I asked her to apologize at the very least, send a single rose to my wife and her answer was just, "your wife got an apology yesterday"... which she 100% did NOT. She refused to offer any extra or replacement and actually said, "then we wouldn't make any money on this". Just - wow. everything about her and this establishment is awful. rude, inconsiderate and stupid. she and most likely all of them are idiot Trumpers too. think twice before you shop there......pieces of s--t work there and own it. read more

I just would like to clarify something. If a customer uses a wire service to deliver flowers, the wire service takes 1/3 of the money right off the top before the local florist gets the order. example... if you give $90 for a floral arrangement, the local florist gets $60 to make your arrangement. There is a $10 to $15 delivery fee. So that leaves $45 for your arrangement, which is not much. Flowers are expensive, especially out of season (winter months) . Customers will get their money's worth by calling local flower shops directly instead of using wire services . They are crooks. read more

My friend sent me flowers on 2/24/25. They literally looked like this florist bought 2 bunches of grocery store flowers and crammed them into a vase. I changed the water in the vase when it arrived and not one flower stem had a nice clean trim which is not typical of flowers coming from a quality florist. It was such an ugly arrangement that I didn't even want to send a pic of it to my friend. When I thanked my friend for sending the flowers to me she said that she hoped that I liked the lavender that was in it because she knows that I love lavender. First, we were impressed by the flowers, and the arrangement. Second, I was surprised that a florist in Bridgewater would make the trek from Bridgewater (I don't even know where Bridgewater is) to Brookline, but they did. Having received five different floral arrangements, over the past two weeks, I can see how difficult the business of arranging flowers is. I just received a delivery of flowers from Bridgwater Florist that my children ordered from them for Mother's Day. They were supposed to be delivered on Saturday, not Thursday morning. The flowers are already half-withered, some of the petals have already fallen off, and the water in the vase is cloudy. I don't think they will survive until Sunday. When I called customer service and spoke with the florist, she didn't even try to apologize, she just started making excuses. 1. "We delivered the flowers two days early so everyone could get them on time"--in my book, "on time" means the date you promise to deliver. 2. "When you make an arrangement, the water becomes cloudy" - In my experience, when you put fresh flowers in water, the water does not become cloudy for at least a couple of days. I ordered the lovely lavender melody for my husband whom lost his mother. Purple was her favorite color. I did not have an order placed, and although they were busy, they stopped to help me out! The women in the store were 10/10 amazing! What you order may not be what you get . Just FYI for those who may not know . Frequently, this is in any fine print when you order flowers through a third party website where they send orders to local florists (ie teleflora, FTD, etc) but in my past experiences they at least try to come close. I just received flowers from this store (the first flowers my boyfriend has ever sent me) and they look like they fell off the back of a truck and got stuck randomly back in a jar. Many of the flowers are mangled or broken to make matters worse. I don't know how much he paid for this but I don't have the heart to tell him they look half dead.
