Was driving through Stoughton Center on my way to see mom who lives down Rt 138 in Canton. I had asked her if she wanted me to pick up anything at Walgreens or Stop n Shop per the usual but she said she didn't need anything Hmm I had to bring something and thought perhaps a small bouquet of flowers would absolve the guilt. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the flower shop and rather than deal with Stop n Shops floral shop if they even have one, I banged a left into the gas station that is adjacent but across a street. Not the easiest thing to do as this stretch has a lot of traffic and people on busy Saturday mornings can be jerks. After turning in the gas station I basically had to wait for 6 cars that were backed up on the side street trying to get onto Washington St. Nobody gave me a break. Once navigated I was in front of the store and saw that it is not much of a lot for parking but I got a space and mosied inside. Cute place with some cut flowers and a good selection of plants.There is a nice little room, like a tea room off to the side that the owner told me was for weddings and of course funerals. My mom is a practical person, its not that she doesnt like flowers but I have heard it 100 times, flowers die, your better off buying me a plant. So my focus shifted and I found a cool cactus like plant for under $20 that would be hard for anyone to kill unless of course you over water it. Kateri the owner is just a super friendly and nice person. She gift wrapped the plant and we thanked each other. My mother was really impressed that I bought something sensible for a change that will last... well until she overwaters it. I am so glad that I came in and supported a small local business rather than the big mega market. It's easy to drive by but I would urge you to consider seeking it out when you have the need or inclination. This is the kind of small business that makes our small towns great. read more

One of the few shops I could find open during the Coronavirus pandemic, they were fully stocked with flowers and SO friendly! I was looking to have flowers delivered to my mom for Mother's Day. I told the woman I spoke with the kinds of flowers and colors my mom likes, as well as our budget and they put together such a beautiful arrangement! I also had to change delivery day last minute and they were able to accommodate and deliver on Saturday instead of Sunday. I can't in good conscience keep the first 3 star review. The flowers they have are of top notch quality, the manager there is nice, and her dog Annie is such a friendly welcomer. On May 4, 2022, I purchased a sympathy bouquet for my nephew's calling hours. I paid $131.93 and was assured that the bouquet would include a banner which said Nephew on it. No $25.00 banner was there, and the bouquet was incredibly skimpy, for what I paid. I was actually ashamed to see what was delivered to the Farleyfuneral home for my nephew's ( Charles Costa III ) calling hours. I was informed, also, that they were too busy to deliver it on Friday, May 6, so it would be delivered on Thursday, May 5. I am writing a Yelp review of their shop, and advising people to stay away from them. At a time of devastating sorrow, I am shocked that they would do this to a mourner. I am sure they never thought I would drive up from Connecticut to go to the calling hours, and felt they were safe to skimp on the bouquet and banner! read more

I called to place an order for Mother's Day. I was asked if I had an arrangement in mind. I provided the floral arrangement item and cost from their website. Then, I'm told I can't see the item but I can make a similar arrangement based on flowers we have in stock. I get that the arrangement is based on flowers in season, BUT no way can you make the arrangement if you can't see it on your own website to know what I'm talking about. I asked if I could text or email the picture cause I was not comfortable paying over $100 ($82.95 arrangement plus delivery) with an idea that I could not see. I was asked if I wanted to cancel the order and go with another florist, or think about it. Seconds later, she said I need to put you on hold so I can take this call coming in. I called up to order flowers, the lady answered the phone and said she was with a customer. Then she asked if I knew exactly what I was looking to order, when I said I had a question about the order she said "look at the website, find what you want and call me back" in a very short and rude manner. I found a display I like and I called back and told her it was exactly what I wanted. she said to me that they don't come out like the display, when I inquired to find out how it would be changed, she became frustrated and said "we have the right to substitute anything we want" When I asked what will be substituted she told me "I should come down and see what I like, LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE" When I informed her that I was out of state (in Connecticut) she told me to go somewhere else. When I inquired to whether she was the owner or not she told me the owner would tell me the same thing. When I asked if the owner was in she said the owner was sick and hardly comes in. I said she must come in some time she said the owner will tell you exactly what I did, you're wasting your time. The only reason I gave her time after her initial rudeness was because I liked the Teleflora display. so I called Teleflora directly, especially after she said none of the flowers can be identical to the display. Teleflora was able to fill my order exactly as shown and the individual there was able to help me professionally, unlike the manager at Stoughton flower shop who was rude and cocky. That's the problem with managed businesses, the owner loses control of customer relations. Who wants to spend money at a place where people are rude to you. I would not recommend this florist. read more
