The women who work here are very helpful--they are talented, and hopeless flower customers (like me!) should be very comfortable putting their trust in them. I wanted a bouquet for the memorial service for a dearly departed high school friend. To me, his favorite flowers were not in my familiar flowers "database," Oh dear! But Ami knew precisely what to get, what other flowers would be great complements, helped me to pick a nice vase, and helped with a "protective bucket" for the 120 mile drive to the service. $80 all-in (including tax and the glass vase) and people gushed over the beautiful flowers. I ordered and paid for funeral flowers 5 days before the services. I was told they would be delivered the afternoon before the funeral. (They are located right down the street from the funeral home.). When I went to the funeral I was upset and embarrassed that the flowers were not there. The funeral director called Flowers by Ami and they said they would refund my payment and send the arrangement to the family's home the next day. I called them myself and spoke to the manager. She was very apologetic and gracious, refunded my payment and did send an arrangement to the family. She explained there was a problem with the delivery person. BUYER BEWARE THIS SHOULD BE ON A NEWS STATION: If I could give this flower shop a zero I would. My husband had showed the shop owner some flowers that I liked. She said no problem we can do that. They took payment and never gave him a receipt. My husband picked up the flowers and gave them to me. We both looked at them with disbelief that these flowers were nothing like my husband had asked for. We both went back into the shop, put the flowers on the table and told the owner these were nothing like the pictures you were shown. To that she said these flowers we went into Boston to pick out and they are from around the world. Meanwhile walking around her shop there were a bunch of the same flowers in buckets that people were coming in to self arrange. She then said we do not offer refunds, either I could pick something else out or get a store credit. Without a blink she went onto the next costumer and then to the next . We walked out in disbelief we left the flowers there. There are no signs saying once payment is taken there are no refunds. read more

About 10 years ago, we had used this company in the past for previous family members' funerals and had a pleasant and exceptional experience. We had hoped this most recent time would be the same, but unfortunately that was not the case by any means. Not only were our flowers delivered late, well after our wake had begun, and although the casket spray was done beautifully, the additional products we received for inside the casket to be beside our family member were completely incorrect, but seemingly thrown together last minute and sloppily. The words were very obviously taped on a strip of card stock, and overall it just looked very out of place. To say we're disappointed is an understatement, especially for such an important and significant day for our family. It's a shame to have an unsatisfactory outcome having had good luck with a company previously. read more

I remember when they operated from a van near their present location. Some thirty years ago I sent roses to a client. The roses were perfect but the customer complained to Ami about something and he told her to come in for another dozen and keep the ones she had. Went to get some flowers for my mom. I told the lady what I was looking to spend. I gave her an idea of what flowers I liked and she barely helped me put it together. When it came time to wrap it up most florists organize it so it looks pretty she was going to wrap it as I had grabbed them. I had to ask her to make it look pretty. Then she sloppily put the clear plastic on it. Next she tells me the price and I had to ask for the ribbon. Not a happy customer and will never go again.
