Step back in time at this 1780s tavern. Live entertainment every Saturday night from September…read morethrough June. Doors open at 8pm & generally doors close at 11:30pm. Singers perform traditional Irish & English folk songs. Performers have included Janet Ashton, Lynn Feingold, reenactors Paul Revere & Rachael Revere, Larry Carlson, Ed Munafo, Sally McKnight & Jim Bucannan, Shawn Hickey, & Plymouth Plantation's very own "For the Nonce". The menu includes a nice array of drinks and foods - see the full menu here - http://www.blanchardstavern.com/Menu_Items.htm. Their dessert specialties are a favorite; including a delicious take on the classic colonial treat syllabub. A treat for history buffs, those who appreciate live tradtional music, and those looking for something different & new to do on a Saturday night. A bit of the colonial days without having to travel from the South Shore. Right on Rt. 28 the tavern is easy to find & if the parking lot is full you can park across the street at the Church.

I love the weird drinks and menu items. It is a weird night out as Mina said but I think Blanchard's Tavern is a fun weird night out.

The Community Package Store is your one stop shopping experience for the locals of Holbrook!…read more Whether you are on your way to a party or gearing up for a long day of BBQ, the community package store has what you need for a reasonable price. Large refrigerated section for those last minute purchases when you realize the 30-rack you bought a few days before is already gone and you're on your way to another night of partying! Staff knows their stuff! When looking for a specific brand of alcohol all you have to do is ask! They either know if they have it or know exactly where to look to see if they do. I never walk out disappointed. Easy to find something to satisfy the taste buds. Though the store looks small from the outside, its filled to the brim with choices. If called in ahead of time kegs can be ordered. What's great about this business is its convenience. Has the cheapest prices in the area! Parking is slim but you only have to wait a few before a spot opens up!

They have a huge selection of wine and liquor as well as beer…read more The beer selection is the best part, they have a HUGE selection of local micro-brew stuff that you dont normally see at stores these days. Weather you want the usual stuff like bud light or something you've never heard of before, they have it. Would recommend them to anyone in the area that is thirsty!
