Parking: they have a free parking lot w/ a good amount of spaces; usually doesn't get too packed so you should be fine with parking if you decide to grab something from here.

I'm not in there very long as i usually pickup the same certain liquor bottles, hard seltzers and the like. They have what I'm looking for in wine, cognac tequila or the cans. The look of the store inside hadn't changed too much over the years but they are easy parking, has the Liq and also sells bags of ice (found outside the store). You can find all of the seltzers & beers stored in the fridges when you walk in & they have all the different alcohols organized well, by aisle & sections. Elli's friendly and welcoming nature makes you want to stay just for conversation. Everytime I go in there I feel as if I never left the neighborhood. I have learned so much from her and always love her selections and recommendations. Since I found her I have only had 2 bottles of wine that I did not like for myself, but were loved by my guests when I served them. So no loss for either. She has recommended wine for a wine tasting I did 10 years ago and friends still ask about those wine. I make sure to tell friends about Elli's Wine cellar. Her knowledge about wines and the grapes that make them is immeasurable to me and I am so glad I met her. I no longer live in Weymouth but I try to get in there to see her (and buy wine) when I can. I never leave with less than 2 boxes and as I have already stated never disappointed. Life has kept me away in recent years but I am making a trip to see Elli soon. Hopefully I will leave with enough to hold me over until the next time I have a gap in my busy schedule to make the trip to Weymouth. From what I gather this place is owned by a family. They are always very friendly when ringing up my purchases. You actually feel good bantering back and forth between them and you (or me, the customer in this case.). I had a question once about a price over the phone for some vodka. Even over the phone they are friendly. They seem very much like the family next door. Ok, the prices. Well, the prices are reasonable compared to other places I have been. Granted it's sometimes a difference of a few dollars for, say a Jack Daniels. Still, they seem to have the cheapest prices for a 750 ml bottle. Now, they will range depending on what you need. Obviously a bottle of Hennesy (first example that pops in my head......) will be more than a bottle of Jim Beam (which I also happen to like). This brings me to my last point. Selection. Well, if you are without wheels (as I am for the time being), you can take the 240 T bus down to Crawford square. Get off and you are right there, next to the Parthenon restaurant and close to the library. By car, just go down main st and they have their parking lot out back.
