It's not temporary, I have tried several times and no answer. Since I couldn't get anyone to pick up the phone, last week I actually tried going there around 3:30 pm on a Tues or Wed. The door was locked, there was no light on, nobody at the desk...I knocked, no answer.

Immaculately groomed with no issues and a phenomenal attention to detail, including referencing past profiles of her they had taken to ensure a consistent cut. It's entirely customized to her each time, taking all of our requests and concerns into consideration. In fact, we have been taking all three of our dogs to Jenny for many years and have been satisfied every time. How great it is not to have to rely on a chain and to know there's a high-quality, reasonably priced groomer around the corner. She had her ready quickly too, basically in and out which is appreciated so our pup doesn't have to wait. The staff when making appointments is super personable. The bow she put on her is the cherry on top of a great grooming!

We have been customers for years and had some minor grooming incidents in the past(2 cuts), which I overlooked because my dog is elderly. Unfortunately, this most recent experience was much more serious. Two days after grooming, I discovered a cut and missing fur under my dog's armpit. Later that week, after removing the bandana placed around her neck after grooming, I discovered another cut there as well. I contacted the owner, Jennifer, who reviewed the salon footage and said she didn't see my dog react to the cuts which is possible with some dogs, she felt very sorry and apologetic for the incident. She initially offered to cover my veterinary bill, which I appreciated. My dog ultimately required treatment costing $330 and had to wear a cone for over three weeks because the wounds were not healing properly. After I submitted the vet bill, Jennifer later said she was not responsible and offered $156 as a gesture of care. She then did not follow through with that offer either. I was also told she had spoken with my veterinarian, which I confirmed was not true. I understand that a veterinarian cannot definitively determine exactly what caused a wound after the fact. However, the vet specifically noted that irritation from grooming clippers was a possibility consistent with the timeline, which was noted in her doctor notes. At this point, this is not about the money. It is about accountability and how the situation was handled. After years of being a customer, I am extremely disappointed and heartbroken that my elderly dog was injured and that the business ultimately chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this so other pet owners can make an informed decision about where they trust their pets to be groomed.

We were told by another establishment last Wed (it's Monday) she would have to be shaved down to the skin in order for them to service us. The other establishment refused payment and handed me a wet shaking dog refusing to work on her, claiming she had knots in her hind quarters. THIS GROOMING SALON clearly knew how to groom our puppy in a mere 1.5 hours and were kind and honest throughout the process! I am aware with long haired dogs it is easy to get knots and happens frequently which is why we comb her daily, sometimes multiple times a day if wet outside. But irregardless there will always be some matt we miss or that happens on route etc. This doggie spa was nothing but amazing, fitting us in last minute and making our 7 month old Coton puppy beautiful and shorter to prepare for her spay this week. Unlike the other establishment who felt it necessary to slander and libel businesses that had nothing to do with them nor ever never serviced them (ex photography services served for newborn babies the past that have nothing to do with a dog groomer), THIS GROOMER was nothing but PROFESSIONAL. What a client does, did, or their personal business should have nothing to do with services being rendered, as it is completely irrelevant, and I am just so happy to report the kindness received from The Prince and Pawper grooming salon and store. I was not made to feel like I didn't have worth; I felt respected and valued which is extremely important. I have dealt with the worst unfortunately in the past, and my poor puppy was so traumatized last week with the former establishment, she had the runs when being groomed today, having to relive the trauma of being freezing and shaking and being forced to leave and denied service simply because we refused to shave our dog! (This was the prior establishment, not P&P!) Prince and Pawper has groomed other Cotons and knew how to deal with matts as they arrive. FIVE STARS FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE AND ACCOMMODATING OUR NEEDS. Sam talked with me about everything she was going to do and when I picked up my pup, Sam went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and looked great! Paloma means "dove" in Spanish, but Paloma is probably more like a rapid turkey vulture than a peaceful dove Paloma's regular groomer switched businesses and, unfortunately, we do not know where she ended up. Deogee was able to squeeze us in as a new client and they were extremely sweet and patient with our little Tasmanian Devil. They gave Paloma a beautiful cut and gave us some pointers on how we can better train Paloma to more readily accept grooming appointments. Thanks again!

She tried to make extra money off of me by giving the bogus excuse that there was "fine print" on her coupon. My dog came back scared and with ribbons in a male dogs ears. They took a year and a dav to cut out. I wouldn't be surprised if she learned how to groom from YouTube.
