The dim sum and the other dishes are slightly better than Royal China across the street, but not quite as good as Royal China Club (also across the street).

While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the experience is undeniably worth every penny, especially if you're looking for a night of shared dishes, attentive service, and great atmosphere. the mood is perfect for an intimate dinner or a celebration with friends, as it was when i came here for my birthday! the guac was prepared on the table, and had a great freshness to it, but was not worth the money imo bc it tasted pretty ordinary to me. same for the antichuchos de pollo - they were so small and tasted like regular skewers to me - they had a nice smoky flavor, but nothing that couldn't be achieved at home easily. i liked the trio de maiz, which had many different types of maiz, and was presented beautifully! the dish was very fresh and almost nutty. also liked their take on patatas bravas, which was perfectly crispy and with a delicious creamy sauce. love love loved the tiradito de pez limon, which had the most melt in your mouth yellowtail crudo/sashimi. it was paired with an amazing slightly spicy green chili sauce, and overall flavors were phenomenal. the orange tobiko wasn't there though... the salmon was one of the best things i had that night - perfectly cooked and tender, melty and delicious! amazing flavor pairings, scrumptious overall! dessert was one of the highlights of the meal as well. the churros were citrusy and fried to perfection, and paired with a great sauce. my personal favorite was the passionfruit mango pavlova thing, which had such a bright tartness! everything was served on what looked like homemade pottery, so lovely! the price point seemed a little irrational for what we received, but everything was delicious, and the overall experience was amazing! highly recommend if you're feeling a bit posh or just want to treat yourself!

Stepping inside we were immediately greeted with a genuinely welcoming smile. The manager and his staff are warm, friendly, and professional. We actually ate there on two occasions because the food is so good and the ambiance casually elegant and inviting. On our second visit we were served by Gabrielle who gave us excellent recommendations. I forgot to take a picture of the lentil soup which was light and tasty. Every dish was expertly prepared. The ratios of ingredients and spices were just right. We were never made to feel rushed so we took our time enjoying the flavors and textures -- it was a delightful experience and we plan on returning when we're back in London next year.

Best is the terrace outside and obviously the only part where you are allowed to smoke. Seating there reasonably comfortable with no attempts to be overly luxurious. Cover charge of GBP 5 per person outside. (5/8) . Crowd: upmarket with a lot of wealthy middle-eastern and Asian youngsters + business types parking their obviously expensive cars right in front. Both during afternoon and evening visits packed despite ongoing Corona impact. (7/8). . Food: mezze, grills, salads of ok quality. Fresh and tasty, medium-sized portions. Not a culinary temple but good backup when smoking and drinking. (5/8) . Drinks: great fruit cocktails and teas. Wine list not reviewed yet. Giving a (temporary) neutral+ (5/8). . Shisha: well-served with limited variety of Starbuzz tobaccos. Natural coal. Regular, attentive maintenance and overall very good, long-lasting smoking experience. Helpful, friendly advice when ordering and willingness to change/upgrade when first offer not to satisfaction. No fruits available. No decoration for the shisha bowl (6/10) . I hate it because I don't live in London. I also hate that no one else to my knowledge has thought to add whipped cold foam to espresso martinis. A non-alcohol alternative was also listed with its respective ingredients (I assume this is wherever applicable), and I appreciated the inclusivity.
