I am back to report that they caused much more damage than help.... I'm incredibly disappointed and angry that a 'local business' screwed me over!! They make all sorts of claims on their website and online, even on ads I've seen. I'm upset that I spent so much money and time. I was so nice to all of the workers and I was taken advantage of. Where the owner is 'so involved and on site' (which isn't true, the only time he was in contact with me personally was to make me pay at the end). NEVER use them for sprinkler repairs, and possibly anything else if you're looking for an honest professional company. This is not it! read more

WARNING! Do not go with Bright Home! They don't know what they are doing! These guys are not professionals. They overcharge for something they have to look up on the internet to know how to do. I don't want to go into details, but what they were working on was not finished correctly. I had to have them come back 4 times just to fix the mistakes. If you're a handyman, you should have a wide range of knowledge. If you're building a deck you should know how to build a deck! You should know, length of steps, rise, and run! If you're working on drywall, you should know how to support the drywall from behind, and finish it correctly. They don't! Please don't waste your money on bright home repair! Look up someone who specifically does what you're needing in your home! If you need a deck built or fixed, call accompany that specifically works in deck building. If you need something fixed on your roof, call a roofing specialist! If you need drywall, call a drywall specialist! Handyman's do not do quality work! Please Do your research!!!!!! It started out by us finding Bright Home Repair at the Home Show. Chris was quick to set up and appointment and come out. He spent a good hour here getting all the details we wanted for the project. We wanted to take out a bay window and add a sliding glass door in with steps and railing. Chris went out and came back in with a quote for a 6ft sliding glass door and concrete steps because that would be the "cheapest" way to go. we took a couple days for other quotes to come in, and we contacted Chris back and advised him we only had so much to work with could they make that work? Chris text back and said unfortunately he miss quoted us on the price, but that Bright home would still honor the quoted price. We decided to sign the contract and put half down for the job. They let us know they are about a month out. About a week later we got a call from Annie the "Project manager" she informed us that Chris way off bid and that in order to keep the price from going up too much that they would have to only do a 5ft sliding door and wood steps with Trex. I informed Annie that Chris said that the quote would still be honored. So, she said Bright home would cover the cost of the Trex. We agreed without a fuss about the changes. While on the phone we gave her specifics on the door orientation it needed to be opening from left to right not right to left to match the kitchen door and also there is a vent that would be hit while walking in if opened from right to left. We sent her Trex colors from the current stairs we already have. She said great we have everything and then about a week goes by and they let us know they are still working on a timeframe. I asked if they had a closer timeframe because we had other work that was going to be done and did not want them to overlap. At 9:30pm we got a text that they are starting the next day. The next day comes 1 guy shows up and starts to unload and work while waiting for the other member to get there an hour later. They unfortunately were very unprepared. They immediately cut the whole into the wall and took out the window and proceeded to let us know they can't get the sliding glass door in that night because they didn't have the door. We get high winds and thought with a project manager getting all the details they would have all material, tools, equipment and knowledge on how to do the job. None of the above was done. They had to leave countless times to Home Depot to get material, tools and the door. They ran and got the cheapest door and the incorrect door (it was too small too). Not only the wrong orientation but they also cracked the door and used the wrong color screws that they just used caulk and paint to cover. Not only that they told us that they would have to go home and google how to do the stairs because this was never done before. They didn't know how to do stucco work either and the work is very noticeable. While the guys they sent were very nice and listened to our concerns, they did not know how to do this job. By day 6 we had to have the manager call us so that we could see if they would take money off the bill and just let us finish the job. While they accepted I don't feel as though the final bill should have been sent at all after seeing the job was not complete, we noticed that the door was not caulked at the way around we had to do stucco repair and replace Trex from unnecessary holes not to mention the stair didn't have all the screws in place and some are so stiped out we won't be able to remove if necessary. While we paid the final bill, I hope Bright home will do the right thing and refund the amount. read more

First , these guys give me a quote of $1250 for a tile job, then was told if I scheduled now they would knock off $150. Told them yes and put half down, no problem. I ,soon after, received a texted saying they under bid the job by another $1300, so know it goes up to $2500.They apologized cause apparently the guy doing the bids "didn't have the updated prices" . So the guy doing the bids calls back and lowers the price to $1700 , I told him that I still couldn't afford that. he calls back and lowers the bid to $1500 so I agreed to that price. He says great let's get you in the books. Two days before the job the guys in the office call me to cancel the job, because they "under bid it". Mind you I have all the materials for that job, so all they had to do is lay tile. It was a 2 day job. The guy in the office wanted to renegotiate a different price or I could get my money back.l guess these guys need over $1000 a day to survive. I wouldn't recommend them , try someone else that has their sh!t together. read more

Aug 7th 2025. I wish I never went with them. Jeff gave low support with any questions along the way. They won't answer their phone and then Jeff gets mad at detailed texts. They take NO critique from the customer. They tell you not to text, but you have to reach them in the dire circumstances of them missing a toilet installation. I mean that was urgent for us. Jeff the Manager is quite mean if you send him texts. The customer has to know what is going on and they are not keen on letting you be part of the process. I did photos of the problems with the floor. The edges were missed altogether for the cement they pour on it. It was never fixed but the new flooring was put over it. Workers are 1.5 hours late and say they will be back in the morning. The worker was pulled off the toilet install. Yes then the next day Jeff pulled him onto a bigger job to do cabinet install somewhere else and I was left without a toilet installed. This worker could have installed my light and fix the leaky pipe out back, but he went right away and dug up my floor and then left. No respect for anyone elses intelligence. As a Successful Property Manager for 28 years I know the processes and what should happen at any particulate point of construction. I have flipped homes. I have worked with so many construction companies for flipping my houses, that I DO KNOW what I was doing giving comments. I was highly insulted by JEFF telling me that kathy "You are NOT a professional, you are not a licensed contractor, YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING" Ok that was very hurtful.The edges were missed altogether for the cement they pour on it. I have used Bright Home Repair on multiple occasions and Jeff knows how to repair anything! Jeff helped us with Electrical issues and did a huge outdoor project for us that no one else would touch! Jeff totally demolished our outdoor kitchen which was an eye sore. The all-brick kitchen was large but was unfinished and rotting. Brick by brick Jeff took it apart and disposed of everything for us.
