After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I appreciate Kyle was on time and that the service was professional and efficient.

Disappointing experience. This review isn't based on the quality of work, since I never actually…read morereceived any service, so I didn't feel a one-star rating was fair. It's based solely on the booking process. I was able to book an appointment on Sunday for Monday morning, but they called early Monday and said they couldn't make it until Tuesday. That caused me to miss out on other companies that had Monday availability and wasted valuable time on something we needed done as soon as possible. They need to get their scheduling system figured out.

They hooked up my refrigerator to water and got my ice maker working, installed a sorely-needed pressure reducing valve to keep everything safe, added an easy-to-access, indoor shutoff valve in case of emergencies, fixed two leaky shower heads with handles that were spinning round and round due to being incorrectly installed by the initial owners. This all cost a few hundreds, not the multiple thousands I was quoted elsewhere. I'll definitely be calling Kevin at ASAP Plumbing for any future work I need done; they've certainly earned my future business!

And I run downstairs to find my basement flooded with water pouring in from my cement wall. I called ASAP left a message on their voicemail and got a call back within minutes. I explained my emergency and Kevin, the owner, personally came out that night to help me get things assessed and water turned off in places to prevent further damage and coordinated with his crew to be out in the next 48 hours to fix everything. I thought it would be thousands of dollars given the off hours and emergency nature of my issue but no the entire job was less than $1000. Shocked the hell out of me. These guys are truly honest. In my fire state they could have just charged me anything and I would have paid it. But they figured out the issue which wasn't as huge as I'd feared it would be and charged based on the time, part costs, and the job itself. I feel insanely lucky and am happy to shout from the rooftops that this company should be in everyone's address book and the first call if they have any plumbing issues. I'm beyond grateful to all of them for their help and quick and exceptional work and beyond that their honesty in their pricing. Thank you guys!!!! Highest recommend ever!!!!!

I've been a Scott Hale customer for many years now. They've done many jobs for me and they also…read morereplaced my water heater, furnace and AC unit when they conked out. The old furnace went out the day before Thanksgiving one year, and they had a new one installed and running the same day. I appreciate the employees who have provided good service over the years. In the beginning I referred friends to SH, saying they are not necessarily cheap but they do good work. (Looking back, I realize however that I overpaid for the new water heater and other some other major expenses, I was just naïve and didn't do due diligence. More about overcharging below.) That being said, I've given up on SH. Too often my encounters with its employees go wrong. The person they send may or may not have experience with my issue, and they never ask for help from other employes. One recommended I have a new air intake installed (he came twice and couldn't get rid of the awful noise) and when I finally got a different guy over, he fixed the whistling noise just by recaulking the area; it was gone in minutes. Another guy made excuses for the (unsupervised) people who ripped up large patches of drywall because they didn't know to go through an interior wall; SH paid for the extra drywall repairs, which I appreciated. Another guy freaked out about the "sewage" he imagined must be under the board beneath my sink (there was none). Another couldn't tolerate me saying that I had never had a leaky condensation pipe until they replaced the AC. My 10+ years in my home meant nothing, and this is consistent: many times the repairmen will not give credence to anything I say, and however neutrally I state it, react as if I'm challenging them in some way. The latest incident is the $1800 estimate for replacing my kitchen sink (labor only). The guy said it would take 2-3 hours to remove the old sink (!!) and added that he would "cap the pipes" so I wouldn't lose water to the rest of house. I mean, there's upselling and then there's just BS. The plumber I hired removed the old sink in 20 mins and is charging a few hundred dollars for the whole job (including installing the new one). And of course the water to the house didn't have to be shut off, there are valves right under the sink. I'm really appalled they would just...lie.
