I do not personally have kids at this establishment, however, I do have family members that have both of their kids enrolled here. I have visited the premises prior to Covid and it was very pleasant. The kids (both my nephews & the other kids) seem to love it and even form bonds with their teachers. They keep the children well entertained and have a nice outdoor area. Due to covid mor strict measures are put into place regarding pick-up and drop-off, as well as opening hours. I would suggest considering this place for your children but would also recommend you do all the necessary research. read more

Both of my kids attended Bright Horizons from 3months of age through Pre-K and I have nothing but good things to say about the center and the staff! They became like family and treated my boys like family and I still keep in touch with many of the teachers to this day. I will never forget dropping them off as infants for the first time and being so scared I was making a horrible decision. But my worries were quickly erased and I am forever grateful for the care the staff gave to my boys and the trust I was able give to the staff. Amazing day care !! . Its hard for me to write in few words how amazing this day care is Best thing about day care is that its very active environment which makes your child active and happy. There is so much happening in day care every day , week and month. So many activities kids of daily basis according to age. My daughter was 10 month when she joined here and now we are moving to different location so unfortunately I have to take her out but I know for sure that I will never be able to find such a amazing day care. Teachers are so friendly and knowledgeable about kids growth that you almost can stop worrying about it. My daughter had sleep apnea which I found out with help of some teachers here who gave me some directions on what symptoms they saw in her which led me to go to ENT and I found out not too late that was able to fix it. This really boost her learning ability . Now at 2 , she can make sentences , understand instructions so well I can never stop writing and never stop thanking them for this wonderful experience read more

This place is a joke and should be not be in business. One because they fail to do the very basic which is watch my kid and two they lied when asked about how my kid was scratched up. Initially when I went to pick up my kid yesterday I said I was here to pick up my kid but the evening teacher did not even bother to acknowledge me. She was too LAZY to get my kid ready and probably is too LAZY to watch the kids. So when I went to get my kids stuff I realized my kid had a bunch of scratches on him, I asked how he received them and she said she did not know. Then when I asked the director she contacted the teacher that was with my son all day and she said she recently handed off my kid to the evening teacher and was not aware of any scratches. So no one seems to know what happened to my kid so after I left the evening teacher called me and told me my son scratched himself. She is a LIAR since my son does not have long enough nails to do so and two the spot where he was scratched was not reachable by him. I would not recommend this day care to any parent who is looking for a safe place for their kids. This place is not very safe and I will never bring my kid here again. read more

Teachers and Staff are VERY friendly. Reports are detailed and timely. Child is well taken care of and kept busy with many activities throughout the day, more so than at other centers. We're in love with the place so far, but its only been a few weeks so I'll update as we get more used to the place! read more

I write this as a parent who went on 4 daycare tours before making my final choice and I feel like it's really important that Bright Horizons receives a much more recent review. Especially because when I first scheduled my tour I almost cancelled after seeing Ed's 1 star review. But despite that I decided to keep the tour, none of the other daycares I had gone to really wowed me or left me feeling excited about my daughter spending half the week there and I wondered if possibly I was being overly picky and I was the problem.. or if there was truly a better option out there. Anyway fast forward to my tour day of Bright Horizons in Deer Park and as soon as I walked in the door I had that constant voice inside saying "Yes yes! Oh my gosh I love this place, this is the place!" The children were practicing for their Mandarin concert (because apparently at a certain age they teach the kids Mandarin!), the kids were all yelling out "Hi Miss Susan!" as we went from room to room on our tour (which I found to be very meaningful), the kids all looked happy and excited, the teachers equally looked enthusiastic, the center was soooo clean and FULL of learning toys and centers, they have an art and science center for the kids, a great (safe and clean) outdoor area. I was sold. Now my daughter has been at BH for about 8 months and we love it. I'm always shocked that the kids and teachers all know each other's names, I'll be taking my daughter home with me and as we're leaving kids who aren't in her classroom will shout out "Bye (name)!" and every day she's there I have an app that gives me continual updates on what she's doing (I'll literally be in work meetings and see updates pop up on my phone like "Child had a diaper change at 1:45pm" "Child ate her snack of pears, oatmeal and milk at 2:30pm" "Child went down for her nap at 12:30pm" I love my job but many days it kills me I don't get to spend more time with her and just that little bit of keeping in touch with her and what she's up to makes me feel a lot better about it. As for cost, all day care options these days seem to be wildly expensive but at least with Bright Horizons I feel like I'm actually getting something for what I'm paying. And I'm not just dumping my kid off to be supervised until I can pick her up - my daughter truly loves and bonds with the teachers in her classrooms and I genuinely feel like they mutually love and bond with the kids right back. And aside from all the awesome things about this place, that is the most important thing to me and if Ed's review makes you question checking this place out like it did for me, please do yourself a favor and go see it for yourself anyway. Very good center. Based on our research it is the best in the area. Great teachers, great enrichment programs, very nice and clean facility. Longer hours of operation than some other facilities too allows for more flexibility. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was around price. It is one of the most expensive but I feel that we are getting a good value even with the higher cost. I would definitely recommend it. read more

I took my child out of her original daycare facility after my tour of the Deer Park facility and after she got to spend a free "trial" day at the center to see how she would adapt - she did terrific! She was only a little over a year old when I did this...she is now 3 and still at Bright Horizons! Not only are the daily activities with children very good but the other optional activities that children can participate in are great and they take part during the regular day - things such as Spanish, piano lessons, Gym Stars, Dancercize. It really is a great way to introduce your child to many different things! The classrooms are kept to correct ratios and teachers are very attentive! I would recommend to any parent. read more
