First off, the office was so clean and comfy. The staff was extremely kind and made us feel comfortable like we weren't even at the dentist. My son is only 17 months and he doesn't really do well in the doctor kind of environment, but he had so much fun here and didn't want to leave. The dentist was so diligent with the exam and realistic about brushing and flossing for him. She really cared and took her time with us, as well as the rest of the staff. Had to bring my almost four year old in to a dentist due to an emergency after he landed on his tooth getting out of the bathtub and it was pushed in and up. So glad we found Dr. Sam! Dr. Sam was so amazing and patient, and my typically very anxious little guy was very brave and let her not only look, but take xrays and he even got a cleaning! He loved the videos on the ceiling, and the toy chest he got to pick a toy out of at the end. It was such a great experience that we brought our almost 2 year old in for his cleaning a couple weeks later, and he also had a great time, got a good cleaning, and is very proud of his new Mickey Mouse toothbrush he got as a reward. Dr. Sam is one of the most caring professionals in healthcare I've ever witnessed (I also worked in healthcare for five years) and she and her team eased every amount of anxiety I had. Kind bummed I can't be a patient myself. She treated my child (who struggles with ADHD) with kindness, compassion, and respect. My 2yr old daughter was seen for her first dental visit at Bright Pediatric Smiles and had a great experience. My daughter was initially shy and apprehensive but Dr. Sam and her staff were super patient, calm, and comforting.
