My child recently turned 3 so it was time for her first dental check up. We went with Bright Pediatric Smiles and now can't imagine going anywhere else for the duration of her childhood! The waiting area is calm yet bright and inviting with plenty of toys and activities to keep the patients and their siblings busy while they wait. Dr. Sam and her assistant Leo spoke to my child in a fun and educational manner and she felt safe and comfortable with them right away. The TV screen in the ceiling and fun animal dental tools were a huge bonus. We were disappointed to find out that my child did in fact have a cavity but my child was so excited to come back to the dentist that we scheduled her filling from 2 weeks from her check up. That appointment went smoothly, painlessly, and was faster than anticipated. We were spoken to about financial as well as medical options and were taught about healthy habits and foods to avoid. It was my daughters first time at any dentist (she is 3) and I could not have asked for a better experience than what she had with Bright Pediatric Smiles. Dr. Sam and her staff were very kind and courteous to us and our daughter Ella. Our 18 month daughter was very shy and nervous, but they did a great job in making her feel as comfortable as possible and explaining all the steps we would need to take as parents to ensure she maintains a healthy smile. The facility is immaculate and the staff were great. We will definitely be coming back and we look forward to Ella enjoying all the warm amenities that they have to offer. I'm giving this place 2 stars only because I give credit when credit is due.My child had a good experience here due to all the kid friendly distractions they have in the lobby and in the back. The fun looking environment made her feel better and more willing to see a 'scary' dentist. Staff was friendly in the office but I had a terrible experience over the phone.I was asked for a 100$ deposit for an appointment I haven't made. They said it was to only secure a spot with the anesthesiologist while we wait for my paperwork to go through.She said that without a deposit the anesthesiologist would not make time to see usShe said that when I did choose to make an appointment that I can cancel...and I quote..."48 hours before,2 days before,3 days before,1week before so long as it's not the same day scheduled to be seen otherwise wise deposit will not be returned."A couple weeks later they took it upon themselves to schedule my daughter for an appointment to be put to sleep on 7/6/22 with out asking me if the date was ok with me.I received one missed phone call followed by a voicemail letting me know but I missed both and didn't see the notification due to my kids grabbing my phone. Wednesday 7/1/22 I received a text at 7pm (closed hours)reminding me of the appointment I never made. So Thursday 7/2/22 I called a couple times to cancel and reschedule but no answer (I believe they are closed that day)On Friday 7/3/22 I called again and asked to reschedule and to my surprise was received with attitude and even some annoyed laughter.After a lot of back and forth I was told that my daughter wouldn't be seen until July or august to which I said is fine but than she changed her mind and said that because I didn't call 2 business days before they not only wouldn't reschedule us but also refuse to serve us!!!! I said how am I supposed to reschedule an appointment I never made??!! And you never mentioned BUSINESS DAYS, you made me believe any day is fine so long as it's not the exact day of procedure!! To not see my child after I went through a lot of work prepping her at home to see the dentist and than helping staff to get her to do what they wanted and help calm her so they can do a check up,cleaning and take many X-rays only for them to take out frustration with me on my child is ridiculous. Now I have to go through the whole process again with her after I gave around 2months of waiting time to be approved to this place. I know this is long but I wanna warn everyone that they schedule appointments for you with out asking you first and if you want to reschedule they'll refuse service to you! I was told they would send my child's X-rays and work to her new dentist when I ask for it and that I would get my 100$ deposit back.I hope they do and not make my child pay for frustration with me. read more

We had the absolute BEST experience at Bright Pediatric Smiles. Dr. Sam was wonderful. The office is perfectly set up for kids. My kiddo played with toys while I got her checked in. It was my 3 year old's first appt and she refuses to even get her ears checked at the doctor's, so I was pretty nervous. Dr. Sam started by showed her how to brush the dragons teeth. The Dr. and my daughter took turns brushing the dragons teeth. Then Dr. Sam showed my daughter all the instruments that would be used. My daughter learned that nothing scary would be used on her! This REALLY helped calm her down. Dr. Sam was super thorough with the cleaning, I honestly could not BELIEVE my daughter sat still, and was CALM! If your child is apprehensive about the dentist I can't recommend Dr. Sam more. She has the patience of a saint, and will make your child actually enjoy the dentist. My daughter had deep cavities on both sides of her molars, we feel so lucky that we found Dr. Sam. The office is bright, clean, kids friendly, plenty of natural light. Staff here are very good at calming down my nervous daughter. The part we appreciate the most is, Dr. Sam deeply understand our worries/concerns about our kids' dental problem and the following treatment plan, she is always there, trying all her best to help us understand the full picture. I took my 3.5 year old son to see Dr. Sam for a cleaning. I was worried because his last dentist experience ended in screaming and tears and me having to hold him down. Obviously scary for a little person, but Dr. Sam was so patient with showing him all the equipment and getting him comfortable before beginning. I was so impressed! My son let her do pretty much everything (except he wasn't a fan of the flossing... but then again, who is? )The tv on the ceiling was a great distraction/bonus. They got her in right away (without an appointment, on a Friday afternoon!) and made sure my daughter felt comfortable throughout the whole procedure. We just moved to the area and we're so lucky to have found Dr. Sam and Bright Pediatric Smiles. We met Dr. Sam under unfortunate circumstances when my 4 year old had an accident, but she took really great care of us and made our kiddo feel comfortable. The office itself is brightly colored, well lit, and very inviting. There are plenty of things to keep kids engaged including toys and TV screens throughout (not to mention a drawer full of stickers!). We came back a couple of weeks later for a regular check up, this time with our two kids, and once again we had a great experience. We brought our 4 year old and 1.5 year old for their first visit and it was amazing! The office is so modern and clean. The staff was incredible. Our kids seriously loved every moment of it! The super fun waiting room, the flavored cleaning agents, and the TV's on the ceiling were a real hit!
