I bid my roof project out to several roofing companies, and was most impressed with Over and Above for 2 reasons: 1. Dustin, the owner, personally came out to walk the roof and provide me a bid. 2. There were a couple of little hiccups along the way, primarily resulting from miscommunications with the solar company, which he more than made up for. His foreman had forgotten to face dirtier tiles away from the street so they wouldn't be street visible, and there was an operational snafu with the solar installer. However, he took full accountability and that has resulted in me continuing to go back to him for future roofing needs. Over & Above are a small shop, and so while I had some initial concerns about them being able to take on my project, I was pleasantly surprised. The lack in administrative overhead was hugely beneficial in terms of getting direct access to Dustin regarding the project, and also resulted in competitive pricing compared to other roofing companies. He has never been dishonest with pricing, which I really appreciate.

Absolute nightmare. Please read my story and stay away…read more My solar panels were installed in February 2023 and I sit here today still waiting for them to be activated. The beginning of the story was not there fault. My original company, Harness, went under after the panels were installed. I was happy to hear that a new company had taken over within a few weeks of the announcement. Little did I know this nightmare was just beginning. When I started with Infinity I was given a name of someone who would be managing my project. During the 8 months I have worked with them she has responded 1 time. I have reached out over 50 times. Every time I call customer service I get a new person with a completely different story as to why we had no moved on anything. I asked for a manager every time, but was always told that it was not an option. After months of calling for updates, and hearing nothing, I was told finally that we would schedule a final inspection. Lets go through how those went: 1st inspection - They all showed up and realized my system was not connected (would have thought they'd look at that first). Was told they would reschedule 2nd inspection - nobody showed up -I had to call them to learn it was cancelled after I took the day off work because they said I had to be here all day 3rd inspection - nobody showed up -I had to call them to learn it was cancelled after I took the day off work because they said I had to be here all day 4th inspection - the utility company showed but nobody from Infinity! Had to reschedule (missed work again) 5th inspection- everyone showed up! They did not have original permits wo we had to schedule again 6th inspection- finally everyone showed and we passed! We are all done! Now I just need to wait for the call from Infinity that we are all connected! Wrong! I just found out that they have no way to monitor if this is actually on. SDG&E sent me an email that I was connected but never heard from Infinity. So I called and they said I am not connected and they cannot figure out how they would monitor this. I am still confused about why this is. I asked to talk to a manager, but of course its not possible. So we sit here, with the panels on the roof for 8+ months, connected with SDGE but STILL not active. If I could climb on the roof and pull the panels down myself I would. Trust me if you work with this company you will regret it. Horrible service, project management with 0 accountability.

Infinity Energy has to be one of the worst managed companies I've ever dealt with. Here are a list…read moreof reason: 1. The salesman lied to me about what I will receive-installation timeline, monthly payments, service response, on my side until I'm up and connected, referral money paid, replacement of my main service/meter panel 2. They do not return their calls, even after they say they will. 3. They shield all upper management, so that you cannot speak to someone of authority. 4. When contacting customer service, they try to direct you to your customer service representative, who for me didn't answer my questions or would tell me she would call me but never did (multiple times). Who I asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor and never was connected to one. 5. They show up to my home seven months after installation, three months without any contact, NO prior notification and want to do work that went against what I was told. 6. Shoddy and unprofessional workmanship -using a screw (not made for stucco) without an anchor to secure conduit to walls, using wrong tools to secure wires to disconnect bus preventing proper tightening or removal (stripped). I can not stress more that this company has the absolute worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. All it would have taken is one supervisor to step in and talk with me (the customer).

Well, it was a very wet winter and they did not make it out until the beginning of March 2024. The job was done. About 2 months later My solar breakers popped. I contacted Jaarco and notified them since I had never had previous problems That I would let them know if it happened again. It did. In 2025 I started getting ground fault errors. Don sent Chase from Haywire Electric out. Chase told me since there were no errors the day he came out there was nothing he could do. I had had an electric bill of over 1K previously due to the breakers popping about the time i had heart surgery in 2024 and was not staying on top of my solar at that time. I attempted to contact Chase again a short time later and he did not reply in a timely manner so I contacted another company and spent $1500 attempting to get the system fixed to no avail. I did finally get in touch with Chase and paid him I believe $1300 to fix the system. He told me if it didn't fix it we would work something out. It did not. I contacted Solar company paid $200 for an estimate. I was told the whole system was installed incorrectly and needed an entire rewire and he suggested I replace the inverter. Quote was 10K I again contacted Chase and Don to no avail. I asked to have Don come out and meet with me to examine the work his worked had done and assumed he declined since I never heard back from him. After the other company came out I spoke with Chase and he agreed the whole system needed to be rewired but did nothing to assist with Jarco to fix this. I spoke with Chase about him doing it since he felt the other companies quote was to high and the fact Don seemed to have washed his hands of me when he did not come out to meet. On November 24th 2025 chase told me he was out of town until 7th. On December 10th I text Chase once again. Chase replied that he had just returned from time off and was busy with work and the holidays He didn't know when he would be able to schedule me. On January 16th I again text him asking if he could do it or if I should look for someone else. I never heard back and have not stopped waiting. I have Photos of Broken Conduit and loose wires exposed to the sun running across my roof. I will be taking them to the Riverside County office with me tomorrow when I try to get a copy of the permit that I was told was supposed to have been pulled and to file a complaint against his contractors License.

I have been going around and around with the general contractor, promised a refund, told "the check is in the mail" only to finally be informed that the company installed a Hawaiian Tie in lieu of an MPU box upgrade which coincidentally costs the exact same amount. So I have had solar with this company for a year now and to be honest panels work great, but just…read moretwo weeks ago we had rain and I saw there was a leak in my roof right were my panels were installed and the year before with out the panels no leaks, So I called my sale representative cool guy we stay in contact I let him know about the leak and he makes things happen to get the techs out to inspect the leak. The tech came out and did the inspection and found a leak under 2 panels and he was able to patch the leaks he said let's give it a week to see if there are any other leaks since we were expecting more rain the good news is no more leaks. I called about two weeks later to say, hey when are the guys coming out to fix the dry wall that got damage from the leaks?"" I got a call from a Representative by the name Alvin Walker and told me he was confused because from what the tech Sent in the pictures and his report that the leak was not do to the panels or the installation and they would not be fixing the dry wall. So if it was not do to the panels or the installation, why did you guys patch it? why didn't the tech tell me this before he patched it!. He could of told me hey Sir its not do to the panels or the installation, you should have some one else look at it and get it fixed, but no they patched it and this made me believe you guys were taking responsibility. This was extremely misleading and disappointing. I would not be recommending any customer to this company. Come on, I let you install panles on my roof and signed a contract for more than $20,000, and yous do this. You should have your techs inspect before and advise the customer before they do any repairs. Instead of misleading the customer and I know the tech had told me they would fix the dry wall because the last thing we talked about was if I had the same color pant for the inside and I told him no that I have the color for the out side of the house and I showed him and he said I should get some white pant for when the guys come out. Very disappointing
