    Solar battery's installed.

Franklin Wh whole house solar battery installation. I cannot stress more what a great team from Pacific Sun Technologies. They finished up today keeping the power on while completing the battery wiring. Extremely neat wiring, very friendly , and thoroughly labeled all breakers in new breaker box. As for the office staff, great communications throughout the permitting process up to the install. We are very satisfied with their work, highly recommended.

After a lot of research, proposals and quotes from several solar companies, we landed on Pacific Sun... Their proposal was the most complete and the time the spent with us prior to the signing of a contract answering many many questions and providing the back up data to assist us making the best choice for our current and future needs was superior. We have had our Solar System for 3 years now and couldn't be happier along with our higher than expected savings in our power bills. During installation they inspected our roof and found several cracked and even missing tiles that they replaced and repaired. We had one panel go out and Pacific Sun was on it to ensure we had a replacement compatible with our system. We have now added a Power Wall and a EV Charger to the house, we are so happy we have ordered an additional back up battery. Highly recommend Pacific Sun.

Unfortunate Experience with Dale and Pacific Sun Tech.

I have never given a business a negative review in my life, this will be my first. The person that I communicated with was Dale. He was nice and professional at first. Everything was going well and I wanted to proceed with my solar installation. I paid for the $1000 dollar deposit and signed the contract on March 11 (Friday) (This will be important later). On March 13 (Sunday), I had a family emergency and needed to help with living expenses. So I decided that this was not the best time to purchase solar and would rather use the money to help my loved ones. On March 14 (Monday) I emailed Dale to let him know that I wanted to cancel the contract. (On the contract, it states, "You may cancel this transaction, without any penalty or obligation, within three business (3) days from the date the Agreement was executed") And for context, The California Solar Consumer Protection Guide states: "You have at least three business days to cancel your contract for any reason. You may cancel the contract by emailing a notice to your solar provider by midnight of the third business day." So I signed the contract and deposited the $1000 dollars on March 11 (Friday) and I emailed Dale to cancel the contract on March 14 (Monday). I thought to myself I had three business days to cancel and since March 14 (Monday) was the first business day after March 11 (Friday) that there would be no problems. But I was wrong. March 15 (Tuesday), Dale gives me a call at about 9 am. He proceeds to say that he received my cancellation request for the contract. But he will only refund me $650 out of the $1000 that I initially deposited. At this point I was taken aback and didn't even know how to respond. I thought I had misheard what he said to me and I asked him to repeat his message. He stated that the cancellation was after three days already so he would not be able to refund me the total amount of $1000 back. I started by responding that three business days have not passed yet and in California a business day is regarded as Monday through Friday. He then retorts by saying that well their company works over the weekend so it counts as a business day. I was completely dumbstruck at this point. I thought that maybe I was in the wrong, so I took out the contract that I printed out and read him the contract word for word stating that it clearly states a business day and does not include weekends. And that even if we were to include the weekend as part of the three days, March 14 (Monday) would still be the third day after I signed the contract and that I have until midnight of the third day. Dale proceeded by not answering my statement and instead said, "why did you think you wouldn't be charged?" to which I respond "because it's clearly written in the contract that I may cancel this transaction, without penalty or obligation." He then says, "Well, either way you're going to be charged and I can only give you back $650. At this point, I can see that this was just a money grab, that he was going to just take my money regardless of what proof I had, what the contract states, or whatever I had to say. Some of you might have had good experiences with Dale, most likely because he was going to make money off of you. But once he sees that he won't be making a sale, that nice and professional mannerism just completely disappears. Dale stole money from me plain and simple. So if you do business with Pacific Sun Tech or Dale personally. Please be careful and consider all your options before committing. Honestly, this experience makes me think that if he could steal money from me when we're only talking about $1000 dollars, what would he do if your system goes down and you are trying to request your warranty to cover the costs? What would he do or say to avoid paying money to fix your system or what loopholes is he going to pursue to guarantee minimal losses? In the end, please be careful, and take care.

Dale walked me through the entire process. Having spent awhile researching and getting quotes for the specific system I wanted Pacific Sun Tech came in below their competitors and with better equipment. We went withe the REC 370s and 2 10kw enPhase backups. This included an upgrade to my homes ancient electrical panel. It took about 4 months from ordering to installation. Most of the wait was due to county and local planning backups and not PST. The actual installation took two days after which our home was nearly off-grid and could be entirely off grid if we wanted. The financing was quick and straight forward. Dale answered the few questions I had regarding tax credits. All in all I highly recommend Pacific Sun Tech for solar installation for anyone in SoCal.

I remember standing outside one night listening to my neighbor's generator roar to life again. It sounded like a chainsaw tearing through the quiet. Across the street, friends with solar and batteries had their lights on. Their kids were inside watching TV. Life looked normal. Meanwhile, I was packing up my family to leave our home. Rising electricity rates, AI data centers consuming massive amounts of power, and talk of double digit rate increases made going solar the right thing to do. I researched heavily. Built a spreadsheet. Interviewed over a dozen companies. Got bids through Energy Sage, cold called installers, and asked around for referrals. I wasn't looking for a sales pitch. I was looking for people I could trust with my home and my family's security. Infinity Solar felt different from the start. I didn't have to deal with brokers or middlemen to jack up prices. They are family owned, in business over 25 years, BBB A+ rated, and 5 stars on Yelp. Tim, the owner is a C10 licensed contractor, sets the tone for the entire company. His pride and commitment to doing things right shows up in every person on his team. Sara, our project manager, kept everything organized with clear, proactive communication. Blake handled the maze of permitting. If you've dealt with solar permitting in California you know what a mess it is. State, county, city, and fire department all with their own rules. Blake stayed on top of all of it so I didn't have to. Joel made sure the job site ran smoothly. The crew deserves real recognition: electricians Adrian, Ivan, Salvador, and Christian; roof lead Arni; installers Jose, Gabriel, Kieren, Israel, Erik, and Robert; and Deyvis helping with inspection. They showed up on time, worked hard, kept everything clean, and answered my endless questions without ever making me feel like I was in the way. Construction always has bumps. Permits get revised, inspectors want changes. What mattered was how Infinity handled it. Calmly, professionally, and without disappearing. Tim must be a good boss and take care of his people because this is a crew of highly skilled workers who take real pride in what they do. The day the system went live felt like a turning point. Our first outage was December 23rd while setting up for a Christmas party. Power was out over eight hours. The lights never flickered. I only knew because the app alerted me. Tim included a Solar Insure 30 year warranty covering panels, microinverters, wiring, and roof penetrations, including labor. It's backed by an A+ Superior rated third party insurer and is transferable if I sell my home. An installer's warranty is useless if they go out of business, so this gives real peace of mind. Because I verify everything, I called Solar Insure, Enphase, FranklinWH, and REC directly to confirm Infinity is a Premium or Platinum installer with each. They are. I'll break even in 8 years at current rates, sooner when rates keep climbing, and you know they will. But more than savings, it's peace of mind. When the grid goes down, our house doesn't. Infinity Solar gave our family back a sense of stability. I'm grateful we chose them.

Our experience with their planning, installation, communication, knowledge, follow-up, and overall workmanship was extremely disappointing. Our project took more than six months or more to complete, and even after the installation, the problems continued. They left remnants and debris in our backyard that have now been there for two months, and despite our requests, they still have not properly cleaned up. We are now being asked to close their file even though outstanding issues remain. The project itself was poorly managed. Their plans had to be changed half dozen times just to pass inspection, which raised serious concerns about the quality and planning of the work. At this point, we are not even confident that we fully understand what was installed on our roof, and we remain concerned about the possibility of future leaks or other problems related to the installation. They also made a significant mess along the side of our house while installing the lines. We had to specifically point out how bad it looked and insist that they change it. Communication and follow-up were also extremely frustrating. There were times when workers simply did not show up, and the overall experience felt disorganized from beginning to end. After everything we experienced, we cannot recommend this company or anyone associated with them for design or installation work. If you are considering using them, we strongly recommend doing your research and getting multiple opinions before moving forward. Our experience was messy, stressful, poorly managed, and far from what we expected from a professional installation company.
