Calling an electrician on a Sunday night, calling an electrician on Easter Sunday night . . . Sounds like the opening lines of a horror story. But I called Ron at Bright Star Electric Co. on Easter Sunday night and was blown out of the water by whatever the I found. An entire room of my home had lost power because of a short in the circuit. I reached Ron at 9 p.m. on Easter Sunday and after a series of calls between 9 and 10 (in which he offered troubleshooting solutions I could try myself!) he told me he would have to come out to find the root of the problem. Unfortunately, he said, he couldn't fit me in until Tuesday. When I responded that I wasn't sure I could wait that long, he recommended another electrician I could call. At which point I offered to pay him for the time he had already spent with me, which he declined. I OF COURSE WAITED UNTIL TUESDAY! We had used this company once before to install our dining room lights. We had a great experience with them so when we needed a GFCI installed in our washing machine outlet I gave them a call. We are selling our house so we needed it done this week. When I called, Ron Mitar answered and said that if I texted the info over to him he would get back to me with a time. A few hours later Rafael Mitar called me and asked if he could come do the repair in about 20 minutes. I was shocked in a good way that they responded so quickly and were nice enough to fit us in. I called Ron in the morning about a stove outlet in our rental. He made an appointment for just an hour or so later. The problem ended up being with the connection to the stove itself. Outstanding! Called at 10am and Ron was here by 11:30. He had my main breaker out which had overheated and corroded and replaced it within 15 minutes and the problem (half the house was out of power) was fixed. Ron was Fantastic i thought i had real bad problem. Breakers were good and a quarter of my house including my office was dark. It was late in the day and stormy.
