Linda and team do an incredible job of planning each day with learning and fun! Prior to coming to tiny stars my 3 year old daughter had very little experience with letters and numbers bc her prior preschool just didn't have the proper curriculum. At tiny stars she quickly progressed and now is writing her name and counting without any issues. Thank you tiny stars for a great year!

I am honestly extremely disappointed with how my experience was with Tiny Stars. It takes a lot of…read moreresearch to find a center I can trust my child with. Unfortunately it just didn't work out and we decided to take our child out after four months of enrollment. It was just a series of events that led to this decision, but the worst part is how it ended. Since he started in April, we felt like he's been out of the daycare more days than he attended(2 weeks for covid closure(thankfully my son didn't have it), a little less than a week for coxsackie closure(unfortunately he caught it from one of the kids), a random day in June, these upcoming two weeks for training and Labor Day, and possible two weeks Christmas Eve thru New Years break) and we're still paying for all of those days he's not attending on top of paying for a sitter while the daycare is closed. We wish we were aware that they have extended breaks instead of just major holidays like the other daycares in the area. What make matters worst is that they have a system where you pay for the month in advance. We notified them in August that our child will no longer attend the center in September(the month we recently paid for) and requested to get the money back. First we was told that our agreement states we have to give a 30 day notice(which it absolutely doesn't). When we went over the agreement and explained how it doesn't, we was just told that accounting team won't give a refund with less than a 30 day notice. I honestly feel scammed for my hard earned money and this experience has left a real bad taste in my mouth. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had and no parent should have to go through this.

I want a place that my daughter was going to go to school where she can grow up with kids around her that feel like family. The school is kept extremely clean, they are very good at communicating, and I love the events they do for all the children. I highly recommend this school to anyone when they ask me. There will be no other place I would want my daughter to be!

Examples include - 15 kids in a class left uncared for by aides, daily fights and bullying between kids that is left unaddressed (leaving our kids with constant bruises and cuts) and getting excuses like "boys will be boys", teachers handling children roughly, administrators lying about things that happened or didn't - thank goodness for the videos that caught them in major lies, baby crying for hours in nursery without response from caregivers, caregivers badmouthing babies. I watched my kid being shoved to the ground from behind by another kid in the playground, who was a head taller than him, right in front of the teacher and the teacher did nothing. I watched a kid hit my son 3 feet away from the teacher who ignored them and then when he came to her bleeding, she sent him back to his table. I saw a teacher grabbing my child at the age of 2 and roughly pushing him into a chair because he got up when he wasn't supposed to. I heard a baby cry for hours with no one consoling them. We took our kids out when we realized that all our concerns were true and not our imagination. When you feel like things aren't adding up and your kid goes from a sweet calm child to an aggressive and anxious kid, but you are being gaslit by the school and you can't quite put your finger on what is causing it - question their environment and go with your gut! We are still dealing with the aftermath of our childs' formative experience at Rainbow Montessori. Remember, it is at a young age that many of their behavioral traits are formed. So if your kid has a daily experience of physical abuse, caregiver neglect and an overall need to be in flight or flight mode, it will shape their future behavior and experiences in life. This was a few years ago and things may have changed, but I wouldn't count on it as long as the admins haven't changed. If you are considering the school, it would be advisable to review videos of a typical day before enrolling.
