I always felt like a cow being herded through a slaughter yard when going to that office. Each time having to explain my children's preexisting conditions to the Dr available to take our appointment. Many times this led to undue worries on my part because they did not have a one-on-one history with my child who had an extensive history and therefore they chose to be overly cautious with treatments. As a result of them not individually following her care my time and money was wasted and I was always worried. I had reservations about going to a single Dr because I would loose the appointment availability (weekends) the office of many Pediatricians offered. I can now say it was the best decision I made in caring for my children. I never had to brief Dr Alcuri on my children's preexisting issues. I never had to wait in the lobby for more than five minutes. I could almost always be seen same day even when calling on a Monday morning. If it was the weekend, I could call the after hours line and Dr Alcuri would call me back at any time of the night and advise me on what to do. Bottom line, having a dedicated and competent Dr outweighed having the convenience of more office hours. We are thankful for his Practice and his wonderful care taking skills.

We assumed they must be good--but we couldn't have been more wrong. I should have used Yelp. It honestly makes me wonder how they have such stellar reviews on Google. Do they write their own? Do they incentivize people to leave glowing feedback? Is the sky blue? Too many questions, too few answers. The doctor was acceptable--she was decent, but nothing exceptional. The real issue was the front desk. Absolutely horrendous with capital bold H. They act like they're there because they have to be, not because they care. They require records from your previous provider and refuse to see your child without them. You send the paperwork under the false impression that your child will be cared for by a quality pediatric office. Instead, they mishandle the documents and botch the appointment scheduling. One issue after another. Honestly, I won't even waste more words on them. In short: if you're already an established patient, maybe it's fine. But if you're new and looking for a pediatrician--look elsewhere. You will save your sanity and thank me later.

We were waiting for our new insurance cards and they were helpful and took the lead with getting it all sorted out. --AMAZING nurses - really liked our nurse, wish I could remember her name! --Small office - we only saw one other person who was on the way out --No wait time - we didn't even finish the paperwork before we were being called back to be seen --Clean - it was such a relief to see the nurse put a fresh new disposable pad on the scale before weighing by daughter. We've been to other offices that do not do this (but instead reuse old pads), and it felt like they were really trying to keep the office clean and germ free --Dr. Lee! - The best part of all. Dr. Lee is knowledgable, professional, and very kind. He allotted extra time for our visit since I was a new client. He listened to all our issues and did not seem in a hurry to get out the door. He gave practical and helpful advice for sleeping and feeding and other concerns. I really appreciated the way he talked about both biology and behavior when discussing these issues. Let me start by saying that in Frederick, this was the first practice that would even consider seeing me after calling everyone I could to try and continue my immunotherapy that I have been getting for 8 years in two different cities. I was told that "we don't do that" by two other doctors. After waiting a month and a half for the first available appointment, I came into the office. The office is dark and depressing. I met with Dr. Muniz who seemed perfectly willing to give me my shots after getting my records from another office. However, as I left I was slightly concerned when he said "if you haven't heard from us in a month, give us a call." The front desk lady then asked for the mailing address of my old doctor to get my records. I gave them a fax number, phone number, address, and signed forms that they required. One month later, I call to see how things were going. The person who took my call was either in a bad mood or something, asked what I meant by "things" and reprimanded me for telling her the name I have gone by my entire life instead of my legal first name, both of which should have been in my file. Many of my doctors are able to find my file with both names. Then she asked if I wanted to start shots -- the entire reason I came in in the first place. I am now confused as to why I had to go into the appointment in the first place. They said they would "send me a packet" which I guess meant by mail because they are about 20 years behind in terms of technology and then I could make an appointment. Just looking for some decent medical care in Frederick and was again disappointed. This practice was confusing, disorganized, and moved painfully slowly to get something VERY commonplace and easy to do. I have never had so much difficulty with getting medical care. I never received a packet, only a bill. Needless to say - I will not be getting my shots here.

She is flexible with the in-home visit schedules and she also provides telehealth visits as needed. She has an easy to use electronic portal and secure messaging service which is a big must for good communication. Since we are in COVID times she wears a mask for her visits, wipes everything down cleanly, washes her hands, etc. And best of all she has been really attentive and caring. We are happy we found her.

Dr. Juliano is fantastic puts the patient first and so easy to talk openly with on any topic. Dr. Lowery is wonderful with my son and husband very open and caring and puts you at ease. I tend to be a worry wart and they never make you feel like an inconvenience. The front staff is all smiles and very welcoming. I was having a very hectic week and I had to call several times with several requests and they were so responsive and accommodating!
