I would never recommend Brighter Smiles Med Spa. Heidi does NOT explain procedure or provide a treatment plan at all. She treated me for small capillaries on my face. Nothing happened at all! She also treated one spot to remove a tiny area of microblading I had done on my brow. It has been orange for over a year! It's horrible. When I called to inquire about the problem, her receptionist told me it would take up to 6 treatments. Really??!!! That would have been prudent information BEFORE the treatments. A few years ago, I tried to get laser hair removal on my private area here. Even though I had blonde hair, they reassured me over and over again that they would be able to remove it. If you have blonde hair, absolutely do not get laser hair removal. It will not work. Do not listen to the lies. They only want your money and they know it will not work and they will encourage you to keep you coming back for session after session telling you that you need more sessions knowing that it will not work. Only my dark brown hair was removed. I spent about $2800 total and did about 10 sessions. I should have no hair after that and I have plenty. All my blonde/light brown hair grew back. Heidi kept reassuring me they would be able to do it. She even told the person doing the laser hair removal to burn my skin because it was the only way to get the hair removal to work. They actually burned my skin. And Heidi told them to! The owner of this place Heidi is a terrible person to deal with. She treats her staff and customers terribly. She is very manipulative and domineering. She has made me cry with her pushiness at my appointments. She only wants money. She does not care about her clients. Do not give this place a dollar of your money. Please go get your laser hair removal and Botox done somewhere else. Many of my friends have also had terrible experiences at this place. First time visiting this place and the owner Heidi is kind and professional business woman. However I was shocked with the price they charge for the dissolving only uperlip filer for $450! The dissolving process takes about 5 mins.. ? Dr Lee Daniel charges $170 and go aesthetics charges $100 for this treatment for the new patients. i didn't have choice to leave the place because they already put the numbing cream on my daughter's lip then talked about the price... My daughter just wanted to fix her lip.. i don't think we will go back there again and hope this post help others who cares about spending money for the dissolving fillers. read more

Very uncomfortable is how I felt at Brighter Smiles. The girl at the front desk was unfriendly and arrogant. The owner Heidi who did the 2 procedures to my face was aggressive, rude, impatient and seemed to be irritated with my appointment taking her time. She was in a rush each time I was there . I was told I would be offered free of charge 1/2 a syringe of filler for my lips at my wellness appointment if I was not satisfied with the results of my initial injections. The offer of free filler never was offered again to me at my wellness visit and i was not satisfied with the results of my lips. "I don't usually take the time to make reviews, but I feel like people need to know what they are getting themselves into with this place. This is going to be a long review but I believe details matter. I went in for a sclerotherapy consult 2months ago for spider veins. Heidi (owner) and the laser tech Savannah (sp?) did the consult togther. They said my veins were a better fit for the bbl laser because I had so many small veins they could get more done with the laser in a single visit. They then said that they could even do it that day since I was already there and not summer tan yet! I asked about recovery time as I had to go back to work that day, and had an event to work at in 3 days. She said the spots made by the laser wouldn't hardly be there in three days and I could definitely go back to work that day. Excited at by possibility of near instant results and not having to make another appt, I agreed to do the laser that day....which I now obviously regret. Savannah was kind and professional during the procedure but something went wrong. I was either not a good candidate or the laser setting was wrong. When I finished the procedure my legs were in a ton of pain, I had trouble getting my pants back on. I told them as I was about to leave that I was very uncomfortable. Heidi asked "does it feel like a bad sunburn or like a curling iron burn". I said a curling iron. She asked to see them. I showed her and she said they looked fine and told me to ice and ibuprofen, and sent me on my way. It only gets worse from here. Within a couple hours I had to take a tramadol that I had on hand because the pain was so immense. I had to take the following day off of work!! A couple days later blisters formed and Heidi asked to see me. She said the burns looked "normal", just give it a couple days and I'd love my results, and refused to refund me. She also gave incredibly poor advice saying I should be popping the blisters. I consulted another esthetician, an ER nurse, as well as a plastic surgeon, all of which told me I had 2nd degree burns, that these burns are far from normal for this procedure, and to NEVER pop blisters. About a month ago Savannah called me saying she would personally refund me but that Heidi and the business are not liable. I went in to get my refund and they wanted me to sign an insurance resolution form, which would keep me from suing them. So I left without my refund. Yes, I do recommend this office if you are looking for a quick In-N-Out. Strongly recommend reading up on your own on the procedures before coming into this office because once you're there, you'll probably just say yes, when you should probably say no and take more time to read the informed consent forms. If you do decide to do a procedure in the office, stop and actually read the forms. Don't be another whiny entitled American blaming other people for your life choices. Duh, cosmetic procedures come with risks. Just read the one star reviews to find out about some of those. I had never been a patient there before, nor had I got lip filllers before, but I immediately felt I could trust them completely. The results are wonderful so far. Went here as a college student looking to get an awesome tan away from UV rays. I have been to many spray tan locations in Eugene as I am in my senior year at the University of Oregon, as well as Los Angeles and have never been so happy with the product and service I received here. Heidi deals with a lot of the spay tan lovers in Eugene, and is always booked but somehow seems to get me in at the last minute and is thorough with my tan and specifically how I need it. I am so picky I bought my own machine a little over a year ago, but since then have resorted to the product used at Brighter Smiles. Heidi is the most accommodating person ever, and to think she runs the entire salon but also is awesome with my late scheduling just for spray tans is unbelievable! I waited a little while to leave this review because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but needless to say it wasn't a great experience. I went in for Botox, which looked acceptable at first. I think there was too much product injected because I ended up with dimples above my eyebrows which didn't happen at the dr I'd previously gone to, but that's not my complaint. The product has already worn off almost completely and it has been two months, actually less because I went in May 29. That's crazy! The last time I got it, it lasted almost 5 months. And that's only half the problem. While I was there I was asked about lip fillers and I've always wanted them so I pulled the trigger and paid $500. The filler was put in unevenly so the right side of my top lip was bigger than the left, and the entire top lip was incredibly bigger than the bottom lip. I waited and went in for a touch up because I was told they were free, but I had to wait in the waiting room for 30 mins to have it. When I mentioned the unevenness she got extremely defensive and then charged me a couple hundred more to make the bottom lip look even but never fixed the top lip so it still is uneven. Because of the unevenness I'd say lucky that it's also wearing off super quickly but I actually paid like $850 for that so it's a huge disappointment. I find being so defensive about criticism when people are being nice after they spent several hundred dollars is very unprofessional. I'm going somewhere else to have this fixed and I don't recommend this place. Real doctors offices are where you can expect real results in my experience. read more

Heidi was super nice but has completely NO idea what she is doing when it comes to laser tattoo removal & the after care of treatment. She told me not to put any ointment on it, come to find out the laser creates a painful huge blister on the treated area and it is incouraged to put tripe antibiotic ointment on it to protect it from getting infected. No ointment, nor did she didn't even cover it to protect it. This place needs to be investigated and I honestly don't feel like she should have a licence to operate laser in this establishment. Heidi is very good at what she does but doesn't follow through with what she says she will do. For personal experience, she was fine. For business, I was very disappointed when she didn't honor the donations she made for a school auction. I thought that was pretty lame. Again, for personal use, she is great at multitasking and fitting you in on a schedule that works for you. I was looking for the perfect day spa to take my daughter to for her birthday. I had been to Brighter Smiles once before for a foot scrub, and I liked the open layout of the spa. The prices were unbeatable so I booked mani's, pedi's and haircut/styles for each girl. The staff was wonderful! Heidi was friendly and made us feel like family for the several hours we were there. They treated the girls like princesses and made it the best birthday our daughter has ever had.
