My daughter has been with this montessori since early 2022, and so far the experience has been amazing with them. Ms. Joyce is really a great and honest director. My daughter loves her teaches Ms.Carolina and Ms.Nadi. They are amazing teachers and I have seen a significant change in my daughter's growth after joining the montessori.

All of the teachers (including assistant teachers and outdoor teacher) are trained with AMI (Association Montessori Internationale), which is hard to find. Teachers are supportive and caring. We looked at many preschools, but none of them felt quite right until we toured SJMS. The staff is extremely conscientious, engaged, and dedicated to the children. While many schools claim to be Montessori, many don't actually adhere to the principles very closely. SJMS is a true Montessori school, taking the time to not only practice the Montessori method but also to educate parents about the method. The school is small, just two classrooms with two dedicated teachers in each classroom, so the student-teacher ratio is quite good. If you're looking for a Montessori school that prioritizes the experience of your child, look no further.

The teachers were patient, warm, and clearly understood how young children learn best through hands-on, self-directed exploration. We watched him grow from a toddler into a curious, confident little boy who loves learning, takes care of his things, and interacts beautifully with other kids. The classroom environment was calm, orderly, and full of thoughtfully chosen materials that kept him engaged. Communication with parents was always great, and we always felt like the staff genuinely cared about his individual growth. We're so grateful for our time there and would recommend it without hesitation to any family considering Montessori education for their little one.

Each of my girls thrived in their own way. The teachers took the time to understand their unique personalities and learning styles, creating a space where they felt both supported and challenged. Ms. Nisha was fortunately there for the full preschool term of both of my daughters, and I couldn't be happier about it. I fully trust her, and I know that both of my children learned so much thanks to her and the preschool director, Ms. Betty. One of the most valuable things Montessori Way taught my children is the ability to focus on a task. I saw this firsthand when my first daughter started kindergarten during COVID, with school fully online. While many children struggled to concentrate, she was able to stay engaged and work independently--and I truly credit that to her time at Montessori Way. I have no doubt that my second daughter will transition just as smoothly and thrive when she starts kindergarten in fall 2025.

Ms. Jas, Ms. Yuen, Ms. Lori, Ms. Janet, and Ms. Edith have all been incredibly patient, supportive, and intentional in helping my daughter grow. She started off quite resistant, but they helped her feel comfortable, safe, and truly at home in the classroom. A special thank you to Ms. Jas and Ms. Yuen, who have put so much effort into nurturing her interest in desk work and helping her develop positive classroom behavior in the Montessori style. I genuinely appreciate the environment they've created--one where I feel completely confident leaving my daughter each day. I also really appreciate the strong security measures in place, including the two code-locked entry doors before entering the school. When my in-laws have picked up my daughter, staff have always checked their ID cards and matched them to her authorized pickup list before releasing her, which gives me great peace of mind. She now runs in with big hugs every end of day, which says everything about the loving relationships she's built with her teachers.

He started at 21 months old and recently transitioned to the Thomas Road location as he turns 3. Incredible Teachers: Ms. Katie, Ms. Cho, Ms. Choi, Ms. Lim, Ms. Tessa, and Ms. Allison create a remarkably safe and nurturing environment. Ms. Katie brings decades of Montessori experience to the structured setup. Ms. Cho warmly welcomes the kids every morning, and Ms. Katie personally sees them off on most evenings with individual feedback for the parents. Great Communication: They use a fantastic mobile app for easy check-ins, payments, and school updates. Best of all, they sent pictures and videos of our toddler throughout the day getting those updates at work and seeing him grow was such a dopamine hit! Life Skills & Activities: They actively help with potty training, self-feeding, and learning to put on shoes etc. They also host great activities like yoga, pumpkin patch outings, summer camps, teachers appreciation day and Mother's Day celebrations. Structured day: Ms Katie has created a toddler curriculum, they have designated nap-time, play time and a lot of Montessori toys to keep the children engaged. Food & Care: They provide food but allow home-packed lunches. Our toddler was a fussy eater, and Ms. Cho was incredibly helpful in working with him on this. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The recent transition to their Thomas Road location was seamless (and honestly deserves its own 5-star review).

My oldest son, now 16, started when he was four and stayed through the Kindergarten program. We loved the school so much that when we had our youngest two, there was never a question about where they would go. They started in the Toddler program and continued through Primary before transitioning to public kindergarten. What makes Children's World so special is the people. The teachers provide so much more than a wonderful academic foundation. They guide children through practical life skills, independence, responsibility, social and emotional development, kindness, and respect, all while fostering a genuine love of learning. The bilingual Montessori environment is thoughtful, hands-on, and beautifully designed to help children grow in confidence and independence. Ms. Michelle is an incredible owner who has built a truly special community and intentionally surrounds herself with teachers who are both highly qualified and deeply caring. Ms. Pratima taught all three of my boys, and she will always hold a special place in our family's hearts. We will never forget the love, patience, and care she gave each of our children. My son, who was two years old at the time, attended this Montessori for approximately four to five…read moremonths. We enrolled him in February 2026, and during that period, he was also diagnosed with autism. Unfortunately, we had concerns about the daycare from the beginning. The facility appeared overcrowded. One large hall was divided into three open classrooms for children ages 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5. Because the classrooms were not fully separated, the children could easily move between them. During morning hours, we sometimes observed approximately 30-35 children in the hall. Based on what we saw, each class often appeared to have only one part-time teacher managing around 14 children. We were concerned about how the staff could safely supervise so many young children, so we sent our son for only half days. Our son is on the autism spectrum, but he was generally happy and not particularly aggressive. His primary challenges were speech, communication, and following directions. He also does not have significant sensitivity to sound. However, we did not feel that the teachers had sufficient training or support to meet his needs. In my opinion, even children who are not on the spectrum could struggle in an environment with overcrowded classrooms and limited staff. I do not blame the teachers or their assistants because they appeared overworked and may not have received the training and resources they needed. My main concern is with the management. We did not see enough investment in experienced staff, proper staffing levels, or training programs that could help both the teachers and the children have a more positive experience. We withdrew our son in July 2026. On few occasions, we noticed bruises, and he often seemed completely exhausted when we picked him up in the afternoon. Because he is still nonverbal, he could not explain what had happened. We also did not feel that the daycare was sufficiently transparent with us or willing to learn how to better support a child on the autism spectrum. The staff occasionally complained that he ran around the classroom and did not listen, but these were areas in which he needed guidance and support. We clearly explained that toddlers attend daycare not only for supervision, but also to learn routines, social skills, and positive behaviors. If young children already followed every instruction perfectly, parents would not need to spend thousands of dollars on childcare and early education. We expected the management to hire experienced staff and work collaboratively with parents to support each child's development. Based on our experience, we would not send our son back or recommend this daycare to our friends. There are other nearby programs that appear to be more inclusive and supportive of children on the autism spectrum and their families.
