Two years later and we have several loose tiles and cracked grout throughout the living room. (Which all happened within a few months of them finishing and is a result of the original crew using the wrong kind of grout and not enough thin set when laying the tiles.) The work the second crew did is solid and holding strong. But there is just so much to fix from the original crew's work. At this point I've lost hope that it will ever be done. I've come to accept the reality that we will likely end up dealing with it as is. Which is really depressing considering how much money we forked out for this job, even with the discount they gave us. Also, we all have hearing damage from the loud tools used. (Think so loud you can't hear yourself yell.) We used hearing protection as much as possible, but you know how kids are with keeping stuff like that on. And my Autistic kiddos are a bit traumatized from the sensory overload. We had already spent as much time staying elsewhere as we could afford. But when a job unexpectedly takes that long...we had no choice but to stay in the house for a good chunk of time.

I paid half up front the week they started the work and the other half was due at time of completion. The tile was laid and laid in correctly, leaving bathrooms incomplete, toilets not put back in place. There was thin-set all over the walls, tubs and cabinets. They were hollow and grout was already cracking. The LVP were laid in half of the house with many many errors leaving the floors incomplete and needing to be pulled up completely and relaid. He refused to listen to my concerns and request for repairs. He then left the jobsite on 12/02 and did not return. He refused to finish the work correctly and refused to refund any of my deposit. I am now out cost in labor and extra cost in flooring that I will have to replace. He is also refusing to pay his employees, and leaving my home unliveable. If someone recommends this guy RUN the other way. He does not care nor does he back his work or respect the homeowners property. He left trash all over my house and my yard, cutting wood INSIDE my home leaving dust and wood piece on the ground laying wood floor over it.
