UPDATE 3-11-2026: We had more projects completed by Brightlife on Mar 5 and Mar 11 and we are happy with the result. On Mar 5, Steven added an overhead light and 8 puck lights to our office/den closet and linked it with a wall switch just outside the closet. Stephen suggested putting the puck lights in a different place than we had originally considered, which made the puck light fixture almost invisible while providing all the light. On Mar 11, Joe added a wall switch to the other side of the closet and hard-wired three security cameras. We had chirping smoke detector (we thought). Called early morning and Joe showed up around 10. Replaced all the batteries, but still chirping. We then noticed the CO detector was the culprit. I had a really disappointing experience with Brightlife. I requested a technician to come check out my solar system that had blown. Looked at the box less than two minutes, and said, "eh, probably the components failed." He then mentioned he'd provide a quote for a surge protector, which I never received, even after following up. Instead, I got billed $150 just for that quick look. If I had known there would be a $150 charge simply for someone to open the box and shrug, I never would have called. It felt misleading and not upfront about costs. To me, it came across as a very sleazy move, and I won't be using Brightlife again. read more

We had this company come out to work on the circuit breaker box and GFI switch and we were very happy with their service. We really appreciated the fact that they tried to help us solve the problem over the phone to save us the fee for coming out. Talked to the office several times but could not take care of it myself so we asked them to come out and they did the next day. They were prompt and professional and personable. He explained everything and got right to the point. I tried to fix it myself and could not so it was nice for him to tell me how it needed to be fix because I was frustrated when I tried to fix it and it would not work. I thought it was an easy fix to replace the part but found out it was over my head and I needed an electrician. Their price was right on spot too. We recently bought a house and were told during the inspection that the electric panel should be replaced (it's a Federal Pacific and caused a house fire once). We recently moved into a beautiful but dated home in need of a lot of love. One of the issues was that there is no exhaust fan in the master bathroom. Enter BrightLife Electric. They were among the first to reply and gave a reasonable estimate. After scheduling I received a confirmation text (a very nice touch). The day-of, I also received a confirmation email that William was on his way (very much appreciated). When William arrived for the job (right on time) he inspected the location. Now, it's important to understand that while the house is beautiful, the architecture made the installation very difficult. The ceilings in the master bathroom are massive and there's slopes and contours throughout the house that make it a nightmare to do any work within the attic. In spite of this, William thoughtfully walked through the scope of work with me, weighing options, and he and his assistant kept looking until they found a solution. Solution achieved, they did they got right to and completed a very difficult installation in just over two hours. I tried to give them a tip for all the extra effort the job required but William politely declined, too professional to accept more than the hourly rate that had been quoted. Because of all the other work that needs to be done I had a million questions for William, and he politely answered each one, taking extra time to go through how my house was wired and what options and price ranges would be. This turned out to be a good investment because I will DEFINITELY be making use of their services soon! read more

I am SO grateful for BrightLife Electric! I WFH and on Friday morning, the circuit breaker for my work area at home tripped. Problem is, when I tried to flip it back to the "ON" position, it wouldn't stay ON and just reverted back to the tripped position. I tried setting it to OFF and then ON, but no luck. Finally, I called BrightLife Electric and described the situation. Instead of sending somebody out, the wonderful women on the phone (Shannon & Kimber, I think) talked me through flipping the problematic circuit breaker _and_ the one above it to the "OFF" position, and then flipping both to ON at the same time. It worked, and I would have never tried that without their help. I was so relieved, and they didn't charge me anything for their generous aid. From May 2021: Stellar service and communication! Will and Shannon are top notch. Will did a thorough electrical inspection of our old 1920s home. We had our own list of desired repairs as well, which were addressed by Bob and his apprentice at a later date. Shannon was a terrific resource and fantastic communicator/coordinator. She was very quick to respond and address all of our questions and scheduling needs. Upon request, she also provided me some referrals for other trades people. They were even able to arrange to have an old satellite dish removed from the roof, as one of their workers had previously done that kind of work and had the capability.
